When connecting the HooToo iPlugmate Flash Drive for the
first time, open your phone’s Safari browser and the app
installation reminder will automatically pop up. You can also
download the iPlugmate app from the Apple App Store. Just
search for “iPlugmate”.

1. Once installed, open the iPlugmate app. (Figure 1)

2. To browse photos/videos/music files stored on either the
iPlugmate USB drive or the connected Apple device, tap on
the respective icon on the top row (Figure 1) and then tap
on either the USB drive icon or the device icon at the
bottom. (Figure 2)

3. Tap on the file option icon on the top left corner to set file
viewing option. (Figure 3)

Please Note:
• The iPlugmate app comes with a built-in media
player to support all major video formats.
• Tap the sharing icon to share photos, videos and
documents. You can also copy, print, save photos, videos,
and documents, as shown by Figure 4.

• Tap on the More button to transfer or rename files,
photos, videos, and documents between the USB drive
and an Apple device. (Figure 5)

Take a picture or video
and save in the iPlugmate
Tap on the Camera icon to take a picture or video.The
pictures and the videos will be saved in the iPlugmate USB
Drive.You can also view pictures and videos taken by this
way, as shown in Figure 6.

From the main interface of the app, tap on the “Backup” icon
to backup all files (including photos, videos, music, the app
installation file, and documents) from the Apple device to the
iPlugmate USB Drive. (Figure 7)

Tap on the “File/Folder” icon to browse all of the files stored
on the iPlugmate drive or the Apple device. Tap on any of the
folders to show its content. (Figure 8)

From the main app interface, tap on the “System” icon to
browse the app cache size, language, privacy,and app version
information. (Figure 9)

Please Note:
• When you activate the USB drive encryption, you need
to input the password before you use the iPlugmate.
• Before using USB disk on your computer, please turn off
the U disk encryption.
FAQ
Q: Why can’t my device read the USB drive when it’s
plugged in?
A: You must install the “iPlugmate” app on your device
first before using the USB drive.
Q: Can I use the iPlugmate drive with my iPhone 4/4s?
A: You can use it with your iPhone 4/4s if you use a lightning
adapter and also if you update your iOS to version 7.1 or
above.
Q: Can I use the iPlugmate drive disk space for installing
apps?
A: The USB drive is for transferring files only. You cannot
install apps with it.

1. Nach der Installation öffnen Sie die iPlugmate App

2. Um Ihren iPlugmate USB-Stick oder ein verbundenes
Apple Gerät nach gespeicherten Foto-/Video-/ und
Musikdateien zu durchsuchen, drücken Sie auf das
jeweilige Symbol (Abb. 1) und dann auf das unter den
Dateien befindliche Symbol für den iPlugmate oder Ihr
Endgerät. (Abb. 2)

3. Drücken Sie auf das Symbol für die Dateioptionen in der
oberen linken Ecke um die Ansicht und die Einstellungen
festzulegen. (Abb.3)

der alle gängigen Videoformate unterstützt.
• Drücken Sie auf das Sharing Symbol um Fotos, Videos
und Dokumente zu teilen wie in Abb. 4 dargestellt.

• Drücken Sie das More Symbol um Dateien, Fotos und
Videos zwischen dem USB-Stick und Ihrem Apple Gerät
zu verschieben oder umzubenennen. (Abb. 5)

Bilder oder Videos auf

Drücken Sie auf das Kamera Symbol um ein Bild oder
Video zu erstellen. Die Bilder oder Videos werden auf dem
iPlugmate USB-Stick gespeichert. Sie können auch auf
diesem Wege erstellte Bilder oder Videos ansehen, wie in Abb
6 dargestellt.

Drücken Sie im Hauptmenü der App auf das „Backup“
Symbol um alle Dateien (inklusive Fotos, Videos, Musik, die
App Installationsdateien und Dokumente) von Ihrem Apple
Gerät auf den iPlugmate USB-Stick zu sichern. (Abb. 7)

Drücken Sie im Hauptmenü auf das „System“ Symbol um
Informationen über die Größe des Zwischenspeichers, die
Sprache, den Datenschutz und die Version der App zu
erhalten. (Abb. 9)

müssen Sie vor der Benutzung das Passwort eingeben.
• Bevor Sie die USB Disk Verschlüsselung auf Ihrem

iPlugmate
Quand vous connectez la Clé USB HooToo iPlugmate pour la
première fois, ouvrez votre navigateur Safari et la
notification d’installation de l’application s’ouvrira
automatiquement. Vous pouvez aussi télécharger
l’application iPlugmate depuis l’Apple Store. Cherchez
simplement “iPlugmate”.

2. Pour parcourir les fichiers photos/vidéos/musique stockés
soit sur la clé USB iPlugmate, soit sur l’appareil Apple,
cliquez sur l’icône correspondante dans la rangée du haut
(Image 1), puis cliquez en bas sur, soit l’icône de clé USB,

• L’application iPlugmate intègre un lecteur multimédia
qui supporte la majorité des formats vidéo.
• Cliquez sur l’icône de partage pour partager les
documents photos et vidéos. Vous pouvez aussi copier,
imprimer, sauver ces mêmes documents, comme indiqué
sur l’image 4.

Cliquez sur l’icône d’appareil photo pour prendre une
photo ou une vidéo. Les photos et vidéos seront sauvées
dans la clé USB iPlugmate. Vous pouvez aussi visualiser les
photos et vidéos prises par ce biais, comme indiqué dans

• Avant d’utiliser le chiffrement de la clé USB par votre
ordinateur, veuillez désactiver le chiffrement de la clé
par l’application iPlugmate.
FAQ
Q: Pourquoi mon appareil ne peut pas lire le lecteur USB
quand il est branché ?
R: Vous devez installer l’application «iPlugmate» sur votre
appareil avant d’utiliser le lecteur USB.
Q: Puis-je utiliser le lecteur iPlugmate avec mon iPhone
4/4S ?
R: Vous pouvez l’utiliser si vous disposez d’un adaptateur
Lightning et aussi si vous mettez à jour votre iOS en
version 7.1 ou plus.
Q: Puis-je utiliser l’espace disque du lecteur iPlugmate
pour installer des applications ?
R: Le lecteur USB est pour le transfert de fichiers
uniquement. Vous ne pouvez pas installer d’applications
avec elle.
