The fertiliser attachment for the Tiger 4 MT rigid
has a hopper capacity of over 2,500 litres.
The placing quantity is 50 - 500 kg/ha.
The three metering units are powered hydrauli-
cally.

Commissioning / Tractor
change
During initial commissioning and when chang-
ing the tractor, the machine must be adapted
to the tractor.
WARNING
Dropping / lowering machine parts can cause
severe crushing injuries etc.!
Instruct persons to leave the danger zone. Comply
with the accident prevention instructions.
Connecting and transport
position
DANGER
There is a risk that persons may become
crushed and severely injured between machine
and tractor!
Instruct persons to leave the area between trac-
tor and machine.
¾Depending on the design of the machine
connect it to the two-point swivel joint, the
adjustable drawbar or the ball-joint coupling
on the tractor.
¾Connect hydraulic lines.
¾Connect the road lighting equipment plug and
check the function.
¾Connect the lines for the pneumatic brake.
¾Lift the machine.
¾Remove the support and insert it into the
transport safeguard.
¾Insert aluminium clips on the undercarriage
cylinders and, in case of swinging drawbar
hitching, on the front lift cylinder and lower
the machine on these clips.
¾Lock or secure the control units.
In case of swinging drawbar hitching the hy-
draulic lines may need to be connected 󰘰rst to
correct the height of the drawbar.
Do not transport the machine in a posi-
tion higher than necessary.
DANGER
Traffic accidents or other damage may be
caused by the packers swinging out.
When in transport position do not switch he
control unit to 󰘱oating position.

Parking
Park the machine only on a 󰘰rm and level sur-
face.
DANGER
There is a risk that persons may become
crushed and severely injured between machine
and tractor!
Instruct persons to leave the area between trac-
tor and machine.
¾Park the machine on a 󰘰rm and level surface.
¾Unfold the support.
¾Remove aluminium clips from the under-
carriage cylinders and, in case of swinging
drawbar hitching, from the front lift cylinder
and lower the machine to the ground.
¾Depressurise the hydraulics and disconnect
the plug-in couplings.
¾Disconnect the lighting equipment plug.
¾Disconnect the towing connection.
If the machine is lowered onto the
coulters on hard ground, the tips could
break o󰘯.

The fertiliser attachment is connected to the
frame of the Tiger 4 MT at four points.

¾Lift the fertiliser attachment on the Tiger 4 MT
with suitable lifting equipment.
¾Fasten the attachment on points A.
¾Fasten the holders (B) for the upper link to
the frame.
¾Fasten the upper link to the attachment and
the holders B.
¾Route the hydraulic hoses and lines for the
E-Manager to prevent them from becoming
kinked or damaged.

Connecting the inside hopper
lighting
The fertiliser attachment is equipped with inside
hopper lighting.
The cables of the three lights (C) are routed
toward the outside through the holes (D).

¾Route the cable to the distribution box (E) and
clamp it in place there.

¾For calibration, close the sliders (C) on the
metering units in the middle (2) and at the
right in direction of travel (3).

¾Open the four wing screws (D) on the left
metering unit in direction of travel (1).
¾Hook up the calibration bag and start with the
calibration process.
Follow the operating instructions for the
E-Manager to this end.
¾After the calibration process fasten the lid
again with the four wing nuts.
¾Open the sliders again on the other two me-
tering units.
Use in the eld
Only a small oil volume 󰘱ow rate is needed to
operate the hydraulic metering motors.
¾Set the amount of oil to 15 litres/min on the
control unit.
Placing quantities of 50 - 500 kg/ha can be
achieved with the fertiliser attachment.
¾Adjust the desired placing quantity on the
terminal of the E-Manager.
The wheel sensor next to the drawbar supplies
the speed signal.

The return line must be connected to the pres-
sureless return of the tractor to prevent the
hydraulic motors from sustaining damage.
