2. Afterremovingthe packaging,checktomakesureyour applianceis
intact.Ifindoubt,contactaqualifiedprofessional.
3. DONOTuse extensionleadsandmultipleplugs.Iftheelectricitysupply
wireisnotlong enough,thenhaveitreplacedwithone ofthecorrect
lengthandrememberthatitshouldbefreeofbendsordangerouskinks.

Installation
Coldwaterconnection.
Connect the cold water supply
hose, inserting the small filter
suppliedwiththedishwasherand
makingsurethatitisfastenedtightly
inplace(seefigure2).Ifthewater
hosesareneworhavebeenoutof
useforanextendedperiodoftime,
letthewaterruntomakesureitis
clearandfreeofimpuritiesbefore
making the connection. If this
precautionisnottaken,thewater
inlet could get blocked, causing
damagetoyourdishwasher.
Choosewhereyouwanttoinstall
yourdishwasher,youcanplaceit
sothatitssidesorbackpanelare
side by side with furniture or up
againstthewall.Thedishwasheris
providedwithwatersupplyanddrain
hoses, which can be directed
towardstheleftorrighttofacilitate
appropriateinstallation.
Levelling.
Oncetheapplianceispositioned,
adjustthefeetbyscrewingthemin
oroutdependingonhowhighyou
want it and to level it so that it is
horizontal.Makesurethatitisnot
inclinedmorethan2degrees.Ifthe
applianceislevel,itwill helpensure
itscorrectoperation.
HeightAdjustment
Inserttheapplianceintothecutout
andthenadjusttheheightusingthe
screwslocatedonthefrontbottom
part of the machine. Use a
screwdriverto turn the screws in
the clockwise or anti-clockwise
directiontoincreaseordecrease
theheightrespectively.
Drainhoseconnection.
WARNING: Connect your
dishwasher drain hose to pipes
which connect to the foul drain
system and not to surface water
drains.
IMPORTANT: For the correct
operationofyourdishwasher,itis
essentialtocomplywiththefollowing
information:-
Standpipe:
Ensurethatthehoseisnotpushed
toofardownthestandpipe.
Iftheendofyourdrainhoseisfitted
with‘retainingflaps’,ensuretheyare
insertedfullyintothestandpipe. This
willpreventthepipefromjumping
outduringinstallationanduse.
DO NOT position the standpipe
nearanelectricaloutlet.
ENSUREthatthedrainhoseisnot
kinkedanditisroutedasshownin
thediagram.
Thestandpipeshouldhaveabore
ofatleast38mm(11/2”).Itshould
beinstalledasshown,haveatrap
fittedandmustdischargeintothe
same drain system as your
householdsink.
It MUST NOT be connected to a
surfacewaterdrain.
SinkWasteSystem:
Forundersinkdrainage:
Beforeconnectingthedrainhose,
removeanyinternalrestrictions-
Thiswillpreventabuildupofdebris
whichcouldcauseablockage.
Removeanyrestrictionsfromthe
wastespigotand ensurethatthe
sealingbungisremoved.Thehose
should be routed, such that it is
raised to a minimum height of
800mm(31/2”).
NOTE:Ensurethesinkoutlet
pipehasaminimumdiamtereof
32mm.
1.UntietheendoftheGREY
drainagehosefromtherearof
theappliance.
2.Repositionthe‘HookedEnd
Support’asrequiredalongthe
GREYdrainagehose.
3.Iffittinganundersinkwaste
disposalunit,cutoutthe
membrane,bungorblanking
plug.
4.AttachtheGREYdrainage
hosetotheundersinkwaste
disposalunitsecurely,usingthe
clipandrubbertubesupplied.
Ensurethe drainhose is
securelyattached,toprevent
itcomingaway whilethe
machineis inuseand causing
aflood.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE DISHWASHER IN
FULLY-FITTED KITCHENS.
Your freestandingdishwasher canbeinstalledinmodernkitchensasfollows:
l to stand next to furniture units or other electric household appliances
(Pleasereadthechapteron “Installation”intheinstructionmanual.)
l to insert or built-in under the one worktop.
Shoulditbenecessarytoremovethetopshelfofthedishwasher,proceedasfollows:
–Unscrewthe2rearscrewsandthen,withalightpushforward,letitslideoutandremoveit(seefig.1)
–Discardthepolystyrenerectangle.
–Openthedoorand,afterunscrewingthefixingscrews,removethe3plasticplugsusedtohooktheshelfon(fig.2)
–Glueonthesmallsoundproofingadhesivespongystripontothetopcrosspiece(photo3)and,aftertiltingtheappliance,glue
onanotheroneunderneaththebase(photo4).
–Straightenuptheapplianceandadjustthefrontandbackfeetbyunscrewingtheminananti-clockwisedirectiontoraisethe
dishwashertotherequiredheight.
–Inserttheapplianceunderneaththeworktop(fig.5),checkingthattheinletandoutletpipesdonotgetbentorsquashed (please
readtheinstructionsprovidedinthe“Installation”chapter).
–Openthedishwasherdoorandglueonthetwoequal-sizedadhesivespongystripsonthefrontedgeoftheappliancecabinet.
Beginfromthetopwithoutleavingoutanyspacesandmakesurethestripsadhereallalongthelengthoftheedge.Asmallpart
ofthespongystripprotrudingontotheoutsidewillblockanylightleftbetweenthedishwasherandadjacentcabinets,thus
improvingthesoundproofing.
Warning:
Thedishwasherplugmustbewithinaccessoncetheappliancehasbeenbuiltin,inordertoallowformaintenancetobecarried
outsafely.
Thestructureofyourdishwashermakesitimpossibletofititunderahob.

Rinse aid.
Rinse aid makes dishes sparkle
moreasitimprovestheirdrying.The
rinseaidcontainerissituatedonthe
insideofthedoor.
Youshouldfilltherinseaidcontainer
whenindicatorDlightsup onthe
container(seeright)and therinse
aidindicatorlight "T"onthecontrol
panelflashes.
Addingrinseaid.
Toopenthedispenser,turncapC
anticlockwise.Takecarewhenyou
pour in the rinse aid to avoid it
overflowing.Youcanregulatethe
amount of rinse aid used by the
dishwasher,movetheadjusterF
whichyouwillfindunderlidC.

Water hardness varies according
towhereyoulive.Ifthewaterin
yourhomeishard, withoutwater
softening,incrustationswould
form on your dishes. Your
dishwasherisfittedwithawater
softenerwhichusesspecialsaltto
getridoflimescaleinthewater.
Adjusting the water softener.
Yourdishwashercanadjustitssalt
consumptionaccordingtothehard-
ness of the water in your home.
This way, you can optimise and
customiseyourdishwasher'ssalt
consumption.
Toadjustsaltconsumption,doas

1.Unscrewthesaltcontainercap

You don't know how hard the water
in your home is? Ask the company

Alwaysusesaltwhichisintendedfordishwasheruse.
Thesaltcontainerissituatedunderneaththelowerbasket,fillitupas
follows:
1.Pull out the lower basket completely, unscrew and remove the
containercap
2.Ifit isthefirst timeyouadd the salt,firstfill thecontainerup with
water(youwon'thavetodothisagainnexttime)
3.Putthedishwasherfunnelontheholeandpourinapproximately
two kilos of salt. It is normal that some water comes out of the
container.
4.Screwthecapbackinplacecarefully.
When to add salt:
Thesaltcontainershouldbefilledupwhenthelowsaltindicatorlight
“S”flashes.
Thedishwasherwillremindyoutodosoforfiveconsecutivewash
cycles.

Beforeplacingthe dishes in
thedishwasher,removethe
larger food particles to
prevent the filter from
becoming clogged, which
results in reduced perfor-
mance.
If the pots and pans have
baked-on food that is
extremely hard to remove,
werecommendthatthey be
allowedto soak beforethey
are washed. This will elimi-
natetheneedfor extrawash
cycles.
Pull out the racks to facili-
tateloadingthedishwasher.
How to Use the Lower
Rack
We recommend that you
place the most difficult to
clean items on the bottom
rack: pots, pans, lids,
serving dishes and bowls,
asshowninthefigure to the
right.
It is preferable to place
serving dishes and lids on
the sides of the racks in
order to avoid blocking the
rotationofthe topsprayarm.
- Pots, serving bowls, etc.
must always be placed top
down.
- Deep pots should be
slantedtoallow the water to
flow out.
-This basket is equipped
with two removable grids:
insertthecutleryonebyone
into the slots; knives and
utensilswithsharpblades or
tips should be positioned
with the sharp parts at the
bottom. Position all cutlery
items so that they don't
touch.
Iftherack has side baskets,
thespoonsshouldbeloaded
individually into the
appropriate slots (see fig.
A).
- Especially long utensils
should be placed in the
horizontal position at the
front of the upper rack.
HowtoUse the UpperRack
The upper rack is designed
tohold more delicateand
lighterdishware, such as
glasses, coffee and tea
cups and saucers, as well
as plates, small bowls and
shallow pans (as long as
they are not too dirty).
- Position the dishes and
cookware so that they do
not get moved by the spray
ofwater.
How to adjust the Upper
rack ...
Thetoprackcanbeadjusted
using the two rack heights
(top and bottom). To adjust
the rack, open up the tabs
that lock the guides and pull
outtherack.Arrangetherack
withthebackwheels in either
thetoporbottompositionand
theninsertitalong the guides
until the front wheels are on
aswell.Closethe tabstolock
therackinplace(seeFig.F).

toremovethem.Justrinsethem

The seals.
One of the factors that cause

dishwasherisfoodthatremains
trapped in the seals. Periodic
cleaningusingadampspongewill
preventthisfromoccurring.
DO NOT use solvents or
abrasivestocleantheexteriorand
rubberpartsofyourappliance,do
not use solvents or abrasive
cleaning products. Use a cloth
dampenedwithlukewarmsoapy
wateronly.
Ifthereareanystainsonthesurface
