1General
1.1 The “HTL-Advansys-15.2U” bactericidal air recirculator-irradiator of closed/opened type
(hereinafter referred to as the Recirculator) is manufactured by "HTL-Advansys" LLC
according to Spec. 28.25.14-001-89695785-2020.
1.2 Application.
1.2.1 The Recirculator is designed for air disinfection in the presence of humans.
It is used in residential, office, warehouse, shopping and entertainment areas, educational,
exhibition and medical institutions.
1.2.2 Any other usage of the Recirculator must be approved by the manufacturer. Any misuse of
the Recirculator may lead to its failure or may cause damage to a person (user) health. The warranty
becomes invalid in this case!
1.3 Some design and configuration changes may not be included in the Passport as the
improvements of operational and technical parameters of the Recirculator are carried out constantly.
2Operational and technical specifications

2.2 Reliability Indicators
2.2.1 The UV lamp life time while operated and maintained properly is not less than 9000
operation hours.
2.2.2 The warranty does not cover the UV lamp.

3.2 The delivery set may include an extra components and documents if so stipulated in the
Contract.
4The principle of operation
The recirculator structurally consists of: germicidal lamps placed on the front wall of the mounting
panel. With the help of a fan, air flows through light-shielding louvers and filtering elements of class
G1 into the reactor chamber, where it is disinfected by receiving the necessary dose of UV radiation
when moving along the bactericidal lamp.
6Pre-start procedure
1. Remove the Recirculator from the shipping container. Let it stay at room temperature for 2-3
hours before switching it ON if the Recirculator has been transported at sub-zero
temperatures.
2. Install the Recirculator on an open surface or fix it vertically on the wall (after removing the
stand) by fixing hangers (brackets) so that the lowest part of the device is at least 0.7 m
above the floor. The hangers are to be pre-screwed to the body with two screws.
3. The recirculator must be placed in the room so that air intake and discharge are unimpeded.
4. Plug the power cord into a 230V socket. Turn on the "Network" switch. Check the operation
of the lamps by the indicator (the HTL-ADVANSYS inscription will light up in blue).
5. The room surfaces should be treated in accordance with SanPiN 2.1.3.2630-10 before
starting the treatment of room air using the recirculator.
6. The germicidal lamps operating time is recorded in “The Germicidal lamps operation time
Log”. If the device has an operating hour meter, the operating time is monitored visually.

7Safety instructions
1. The UV lamps have a special glass with high transmittance of the bactericidal UV rays
and simultaneous absorption of radiation below 200 nm which is forming ozone in the air. As a result,
the ozone formation is insignificant (within the MPC). It disappears completely in 30-50 hours of the
UV lamp operation.
2. In case of integrity violation of the germicidal lamps bulb, the thorough demercurization
of the room where it occurs must be carried out following the "Methodological recommendations for
monitoring of the current and final demercurizations and evaluating their effectiveness" (no. 4545-87
of 31.12.1987).
3. The expired and faulty germicidal lamps are to be packed and stocked in a separate
room. The disposal of the germicidal lamps must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of
«The operation instructions for outdoor lighting units in cities, towns and rural localities» (No. 120 of
12.05.88).
8Safety Regulations
1. Except the instructions stipulated in this passport, you must follow the General safety
and accident prevention rules.
WARNING
It is forbidden to ignore the safety measures provided in this section.
2. The Manufacturer guarantees the Recirculator safety in accordance with the
requirements of Spec. 28.25.14-001-89695785-2020 and TR CU 020/2011 The Customs Union
Technical regulations for "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical facilities" "Low-voltage
equipment safety".
3. The Recirculator is not intended for use by persons with disabilities, reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or persons with insufficient experience and knowledge except under
supervision and guidance of persons responsible for their safety.
WARNING
It is forbidden to use the Recirculator without having studied this passport.
WARNING
It is forbidden to make any design changes without the manufacturer's permission. It is
forbidden to install the devices on the Recirculator not provided by the manufacturer.
It is Forbidden:
-to use the Recirculator for other purposes which it is not intended for.
WARNING
The recirculator design is electrically safe. However, the recirculator is an
electrical device and it is subject to all safety requirements for the operation
of electrical equipment powered by AC 230 V, 50 Hz
-If The Recirculator does not comply with this passport and the technical specification the
installation is forbidden.
-Loading and unloading of the Recirculator must be executed in accordance with GOST
12.3.009-76 smoothly without jerking and striking. Dropping from vehicles is not permitted.

9Operating procedure
The Recirculator operating time should be recorded in the Readings and Monitoring Log. Results of
visual observations of the germicidal lamp surface cleanliness should be recorded periodically to
determine the optimal period for the Recirculator preventive maintenance.
Operation of the device in the closed-type air recirculator-irradiator mode:
1) Place the recirculator on a hard surface using a stand in an open space of at least 1 m²;
2) If it is necessary to install on a wall, it is necessary to dismantle the stand by first unscrewing the
bolts of the stand clamps;
3) Screw the hangers (brackets) supplied with the recirculator into the holes to fix them.
4) Connect the cable to the power connector;
5) Turn on the power button of the recirculator.
Operation of the device in the open-type air recirculator-irradiator mode:
1) Turn off the Recirculator with the power button 1;
2) Install the device with its face towards the surfaces to be irradiated;
3) Open the reactor chamber door;
4) Step out of direct exposure to UV radiation (behind the unit) as shown in figure 1;
5) Put the safety glasses on;
6) Turn on the device in the irradiation mode by pressing the power button 1;
7) Leave the room for the entire period of the irradiator operation. The recommended operating
time of the Recirculator in open mode is 15-90 minutes for a 20 m² room.

9. Maintenance
The maintenance of the Recirculator should be carried out by the Manufacturer or by a certified
service facility only.
WARNING
DIY troubleshooting, repair and adjustment are not allowed.

10 Shipping and storage
1. The Recirculator is shipped by all types of transport in accordance with the rules applicable to this
transport.
2. The Recirculator keeps workability under the vibration loads with a frequency of up to 20 Hz at 0.5
g acceleration.
3. The Recirculator is shipped in individual or multipack containers. The shipping container must have
an inscription: "Watch the glass."
4. The minimum and maximum permissible ambient temperature and humidity for transportation and
storage would be specified additionally in the shipping documents if necessary.
5. Climatic terms for the Recirculator transportation must correspond to the storage conditions 3 (G3)
as per GOST 15150-69 at temperatures from -40 ° C to + 60 ° C, relative humidity of 80% at + 25
°C.
6. The height of the storage pile should not exceed 2.7 m during transportation.
7. Container with the Recirculator must be stored indoors at temperatures
from -40 ° C to + 60 ° C, relative humidity of 90% at + 25 °C. A storage room must be protected
from precipitations, direct sunlight and aggressive environments.
8. The height of the storage pile should not exceed 1.7 m at the Recirculator boxes stowing. Boxes
with the Recirculator should be placed on pallets, racks or decking at 0.12 m from the floor and
external walls as minimum.
It is forbidden to place other types of cargo on the Recirculator cardboard box.
9. In order to avoid the mechanical damaging, follow the loading/unloading precautions.
Loading and unloading of the equipment must be executed according to the GOST 12.3.009-76
smoothly without jerking and striking. Dropping from vehicles is not permitted.
10. Packaged Recirculators must be stored on pallets at least 1 m away from the heating devices.
11 Manufacture’s warranty
1. The manufacturer warrants The Recirculator quality in accordance with the SPEC. 28.25.14-001-
89695785-2020 while it proper operated, stored and transported.
2. Warranty period is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
It is allowed to set warranty periods in vendor contracts.
3. The Recirculator or the failed parts are repaired by the Manufacturer during the warranty period.
4. The Manufacturer’s (Supplier) warranty becomes not valid in the case of:
-non-observance of operating rules by owners;
-lamp failure;
-careless storage and transportation;
-use of the Recirculator for other purposes which is not intended for;
-in the presence of mechanical damage to the recirculator caused by external factors;
-in case of malfunctions that have arisen as a result of exceeding the parameters specified in the
passport, as well as a result of a mismatch between the parameters of the electrical network and the
rated voltage;

-attempts of DIY repair during the warranty period.
5. This warranty does not infringe any Consumer legal rights granted by the applicable law.
6. Complaints.
The customer submits a complaint letter (if any) regarding the quality of the Recirculator to the
manufacturer. In the complaint the customer has to list the shortcomings: technical failures, visible
defects, etc. The complaint must be accompanied by the documents confirming the shortcomings of
the Recirculator. The claim can be made within the warranty period.
All the complaints, their summary and the measures taken must be recorded in the table as
follows:

12 Disposal Procedure
1The Recirculator structure and materials do not harm the environment and human health during
its storage, transportation and operation in compliance with operational documentation and
safety rules.
2The Recirculator end-of-life disposal is associated with the process of decommissioning,
decontamination (if necessary), removing from active inventory and forwarding to disposal.
3Upon expiration of the assigned parameters (service life) of The Recirculator it is taken from
operation. The end-user decides to:
- repair The Recirculator;
- verify and establish some new assigned parameters (service life);
- recycle it.
Verification and establishment of the new assigned parameters (service life) is carried out
according to the consumer program and methodology or manufacturer’s recommendations.
4It is recommended to utilize The Recirculator as consumer waste to the recyclable materials
and resources. The Recirculator must be disposed in compliance with the requirements listed in
paragraph 13.5 of this Section.
5If consumer decides to utilize The Recirculator and its components, he must follow the
requirements of waste management and environmental protection in accordance with:
- Russian Federal Law "Waste generated by production and consumption";
- Russian Federal Law " Environmental Protection Act ";
- health regulations and standards currently in force in the Russian Federation;
- national and international standards for resource conservation;
- other Federal laws and laws and regulations of the Russian Federation adopted in accordance
with them, Laws and other normative legal acts of the constituent entities of the Russian
Federation in force at the moment of liquidation (utilization).
6The Recirculator may be disposed according to the Rules of waste management and any other
document approved by the consumer. The approved consumer rules for waste disposal may not
violate the requirements listed in the paragraph 13.5 of this Section and may not be in contrary
with the Requirements of waste management and environmental protection established in the
Russian Federation.
7The Recirculator can be passed to a sole trader or authorized organization carrying out the
activities on collection, transportation, processing, utilization, neutralization and disposal of
waste. Utilization of The Recirculator may not violate the requirements listed in paragraph 13.5
of this Section.

8The Recirculator must be in a safe condition before disposal. The following organizational and
technical measures must be done:
- disconnect from the power supply;
- cleaning from pollutions, etc.
9At the sorting stage, identified and certified elements are preliminarily divided according to the
specified criteria into qualitatively different components in the form of recyclable materials (for
example, metals, plastics, etc.).
The body and other metal parts of The Recirculator are recyclable as secondary metal resources.
