MOVEMENT & FUNCTIONS
INTRODUCTION
The alarm – a complication which belongs to the chiming watch category – is indexed on the reference
time. At 1 o'clock, a triangular window provides a progressive day/night indicator for local time.
At 5 o'clock, a 24-hour counter with two hands indicates the programmed alarm time; while an
"on-off" indicator shows the alarm status at 6 o'clock. At 7 o'clock, the hammer visible under the sapphire
is coated with SuperLuminova so it can also be seen at night. The 24-hour second time zone is displayed
at 11 o'clock. The alarm produces a carillon chime as a steel hammer strikes a gong, resonating for
nearly 16 seconds.

The design of the Big Bang Alarm Repeater features a powerful case measuring 45.5 mm in diameter,
reprising the characteristics of the case on the new Big Bang Unico models: 6 "H" screws, with an even
more high-tech, understated design, the design of the screw-in crown with rubber overmoulding, the edge
of which is decorated with the famous "H" of the Hublot screw, and round push-pieces protected by a guard.
The look of this piece distinguishes it from the chronograph versions: the push-piece at 2 o'clock sets
the second time zone hour, while the push-piece at 4 o'clock activates the alarm. All the other functions
are easily operated using the crown.
The dial on the Big Bang Alarm Repeater features a complex, 3D architecture superimposing
metal and metallised black smoky sapphire, through which the movement finishes can be admired.
The calibre comprises 356 components, a 72-hour power reserve and two barrels – one for the
movement, the other for the chime.

TIME & ALARM SETTING
INTRODUCTION
This function enables you to set the watch time and alarm time using the crown at 3 o'clock.

1. Turn the crown a quarter-turn anti-clockwise. The
crown is in the 0 position, which enables the watch to
be wound manually. It takes 45 turns of the crown to
fully wind the watch, i.e. for the 72-hour power reserve.
2. Pull the crown out to position 1 (Alarm Time), and turn
it preferably clockwise to set the desired alarm time.
3. Pull the crown out to position 2 (Local Time), and turn
it preferably clockwise to set the watch time.
Make sure to take into account the Day/Night indicator
at 1 o'clock.
4. Push the crown back against the case into position 0
(Winding), and then turn it a quarter-turn clockwise to
screw it back in.
5. Press the push-piece at 4 o'clock to activate or
deactivate the alarm (check using the alarm On / Off
indicator).

SECOND TIME ZONE SETTING (GMT)
INTRODUCTION
This function enables you to set the second time zone hour, by means of the push-piece at 2 o'clock.
OPERATION
1. Press the push-piece at 2o'clock to set the 2nd time
zone hour (in the counter at 11o'clock). Each press
advances the setting by a one-hour jump

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Do not try to screw the crown back in when it is in the time-setting position; it must be
returned to the winding position before being screwed in.
To ensure a constant and steady watch rate, and prevent it from stopping: you are advised
to wind the watch using the crown whenever the alarm has been used.
Furthermore, since the power reserve is limited to 72 hours, you are advised to wind the
movement regularly, in order to prevent any stoppages when the watch is in operation.

The card at the end of your Hublot kit is an electronic warranty certificate, which
contains your watch's identity code and also grants you privileged access to
the Hublotista area on the Hublot website (www.hublot.com). The card must be
activated electronically, or completed, and the Hublot stamp applied.
Each Hublot watch bears an individual identification number, which proves its
authenticity. Your Hublot watch is guaranteed against all manufacturing defects
for a period of two years from the date of purchase, provided that the watch was
purchased from a Hublot approved retailer. However, this warranty does not cover
damage caused by misuse or mishandling of the watch.
For any repair during the warranty period, please enclose with the watch the
pre-activated warranty card signed by a Hublot approved retailer, an exhaustive
list of which can be found on our website.
Should the watch require any kind of servicing, please contact a Hublot approved
retailer or the After-Sales Service only, the contact details of which can be found
on the Hublot website.
Any repairs or servicing carried out by third parties not approved by Hublot will
automatically invalidate your warranty; in which case, any damage will be repaired
at your expense.
