Premessa
La presente pubblicazione, ad uso delle Stazioni di Servizio HUSQVARNA, è stata
realizzata allo scopo di coadiuvare il personale autorizzato nelle operazioni di manuten-
zione e riparazione dei motocicli trattati. La perfetta conoscenza dei dati tecnici qui
riportati è determinante al fine della più completa formazione professionale dell’operato-
re.
Allo scopo di rendere la lettura di immediata comprensione i paragrafi sono stati
contraddistinti da illustrazioni schematiche che evidenziano l’argomento trattato.
In questo manuale sono state riportate note informative con significati particolari:
Norme antinfortunistiche per l’operatore e per chi opera nelle vicinanze.
Esiste la possibilità di arrecare danno al veicolo e/o ai suoi componenti.
Ulteriori notizie inerenti l’operazione in corso.
Consigli utili
La HUSQVARNA consiglia, onde prevenire inconvenienti e per il raggiungimento di un
ottimo risultato finale, di attenersi genericamente alle seguenti norme:
– in caso di una eventuale riparazione, valutare le impressioni del Cliente che denuncia
anomalie di funzionamento del motociclo e formulare le opportune domande di chiari-
mento sui sintomi dell’inconveniente;
– diagnosticare in modo chiaro le cause dell’anomalia. Dal presente manuale si potranno
assimilare le basi teoriche fondamentali che peraltro dovranno essere integrate dal-
l’esperienza personale e dalla partecipazione ai corsi di addestramento organizzati
periodicamente dalla HUSQVARNA:
– pianificare razionalmente la riparazione onde evitare tempi morti come ad esempio il
prelievo di parti di ricambio, la preparazione degli attrezzi, ecc.;
– raggiungere il particolare da riparare limitandosi alle operazioni essenziali.
A tale proposito sarà di valido aiuto la consultazione della sequenza di smontaggio
esposta nel presente manuale.
Norme generali sugli interventi riparativi
1 Sostituire sempre le guarnizioni, gli anelli di tenuta e le copiglie con particolari nuovi.
2 Allentando o serrando dadi o viti, iniziare sempre da quelle con dimensioni maggiori
oppure dal centro. Bloccare alla coppia di serraggio prescritta seguendo un percorso
incrociato.
3 Contrassegnare sempre particolari o posizioni che potrebbero essere scambiati fra di
loro all’atto del rimontaggio.
4 Usare parti di ricambio originali HUSQVARNA ed i lubrificanti delle marche raccoman-
date.
5 Usare attrezzi speciali dove così è specificato.
6 Consultare le Circolari Tecniche in quanto potrebbero riportare dati di regolazione e
metodologie di intervento maggiormente aggiornate rispetto al presente manuale.

Foreword
This publication intended for HUSQVARNA Workshops has been prepared for the
purpose of helping the authorized personnel in the maintenance and repair work of the
motorcycles herewith dealt with. The perfect knowledge of the technical data contained
herein is essential for a more complete professional training of the operator.
Theparagraphshavebeencompletedwithschematicillustrationsevidencingthesubject
concerned, in order to enable a more immediate understanding.
This manual contains information with particular meanings:
Accident prevention rules for the operator and for the personnel working near by.
Possibility of damaging the vehicle and/or its components.
Additional information concerning the operation under way.
Useful suggestions
HUSQVARNAsuggests,inordertopreventtroublesandinordertohaveanexcellentfinal
result, to generically comply with the following instructions:
– in case of repair work, weigh the impressions of the Customer who complains about the
improperoperationofthemotorcycle, and formulateproperclearingquestionsabout the
symptoms of the trouble.
– detect clearly the cause of the trouble. This manual gives the theoretical bases which
howevershallbeintegratedbythepersonalexperienceandbytheattendancetotraining
courses periodically organized by HUSQVARNA.
– rationally plan the repair work in order to prevent dead time as for instance procurement
of spare parts, tool preparation, etc.
– reach the component to be repaired and perform only the required operations.
Inthis connection, it will be useful toconsult the disassemblysequence contained in this
manual.
General instructions for repair work
1 Always replace the seal rings and split pins with new components.
2 Whenloosening ortightening nuts orbolts, alwaysstart fromthe biggerones orfrom the
center. Lock at the prescribed torque wrench setting following a crossed run.
3 Always earmark the components or positions which could be mistaken one for another
at the time of assembly.
4 Use original HUSQVARNA spare parts and the lubricants of the recommended brands.
5 Use special tools, where specified.
6 Consult the Service Bulletins as they may contain up-dated adjustment data and repair
methodologies.

Cette publication destinée à l’usage des Stations-Service HUSQVARNA, a été élaborée
pouraiderlepersonnelautoriséauxopérationsd’entretienetderéparationdesmotocycles.
Une connaissance approfondie des données techniques contenues dans ce Manuel est
essentielle pour une meilleure formation professionnelle de l’opérateur.
Pourpermettre unelecture aisément compréhensible,les paragraphess’accompagnent
à des illustrations schématiques pour évidencier l’argument traité.
Ce manuel contient des notes informatives aux significats spéciaux.
Normespour laprévention desaccidents pourl’opérateur et pour ceux quitravaillent
dans le milieu.
Possibilité d’endommager le véhicule et/ou ses organes.
Notes complémentaires concernant l’opération en cours.
Conseils utiles
Afin d’éviter des inconvénients et obtenir un résultat final optimal, la HUSQVARNA
recommande de procéder en principe de la façon suivante:
– au cas d’une réparation éventuelle, évaluer tout d’abord les impressions du client
dénonçantlefonctionnementirrégulierdumotocycleetluiposerdesquestionsappropriées
pour éclaircir les symptomes de l’inconvénient;
– faire un clair diagnostic des causes de l’inconvénient. Ce manuel donne des bases
théoriques essentielles a compléter par l’expérience personnelle et la participation aux
stages de training organisés périodiquement par la maison HUSQVARNA;
– programmer la réparation de façon rationnelle, pour éviter toute perte de temps, par ex.
l’approvisionnement des pièces de rechange, la préparation des outils, etc.;
– atteindrelapiècedéfectueuseenselimitantauxopérationsessentielles.Laconsultation
de la séquence de démontage illustrée dans ce Manuel vous sera très utile.
Normes générales de réparation
1 Lesjointsetlesanneauxderetenue,ainsiquelesgoupillessonttoujoursàremplacerpar
des pièces neuves.
2 Lorsquevousdévissezouserrezdesécrousoudesvis,commencertoujoursparlesplus
grandsouducentre.Effectuer le blocagesuivantunparcourscroisé d’après lescouples
de serrage spécifiées.
3 Marquertoujourslespiècesoulesemplacementsquipourraientêtreconfondusaucours
du démontage.
4 Employer toujours des pièces détachées d’origine HUSQVARNA et des lubrificants
selon les marques recommandées.
5 Employer les outils spéciaux, si spécifié.

Vorwort
Dieses Handbuch ist für die HUSQVARNA-Werkstätten bestimmt. Es soll für das
Fachpersonal eine Hilfe bei der Wartung und den Reparaturen der Motorräder sein. Die
genaue Kenntnis der hier enthaltenen technischen Daten ist ausschlaggebend für die
professionelle Ausbildung des Fachpersonals.
Zur Erleichterung sind die verschiedenen Paragraphen mit schematischen Abbildungen
versehen, die sich von Mal zu Mal auf das behandelte Argument beziehen.
Dieses Handbuch enthält informative Angaben besonderer Wichtigkeit:
Unhllverhütungsnormen für den Mechaniker und für das in der Nähe arbeitende
Personal.
Möglichkeit, das Motorrad und/oder seine Bestandteile zu beschädigen.
Weitere Informationen für die in Ausführung befindliche Operation.
Nützliche Ratschläge
Um Störungen zu vermeiden und optimale Endergebnisse zu erreichen bittet
HUSQVARNA.
Sie folgende Normen generell einzuhalten:
– im Falle einer eventuellen Reparatur beurteilen Sie bitte die Eindrücke des Kunden, der
IhnendieFunktionsanomaliendesMotorradserklärt;formulierenSiediediesbezüglichen
Erläuterungsfragen hinsichtlich der Störung;
– präzise Diagnose der Störungsursache. Das vorliegende Handbuch liefert die
theoretischen Grundbasen, die jedoch durch persönliche Erfahrung und Teilnahme an
den von HUSQVARNA periodisch organisierten Kursen integriert werden müssen;
– rationelle Planung bei der Reparatur, um Totzeiten zu vermeiden; z.B. Holen von
Ersatzteilen, Vorbereitung der Einrichtungen, usw.;
– mit wenigen Handgriffen das zu reparierende Teil erreichen, und sich nur auf die
wesentlichen Operationen einschränken.

ist deutlich erläutert.
Allgemeine Vorschriften bei Reparaturen
1 Dichtungen, Dichtungsringe und Splinte immer mit neuen auswechseln.
2 Beim Lösen oder Anziehen von Muttern und Schrauben immer bei den größeren oder
von der Mitte aus beginnen. Beim vorgeschriebenen Anziehmoment blockieren und
einen sich kreuzenden Weg beschreiben.
3 TeileoderPositionenkennzeichnen,dieuntereinanderbeiderWiedermontageverwechselt
werden könnten.
4 Nur Originalersatzteile HUSQVARNA verwenden, und die empfohlenen Schmiermittel.
5 Für den spezifischen Fall spezielle Geräte und Einrichtungen verwenden.
6 Die Technischen Rundschreiben konsultieren; sie enthalten gewöhnlich die neuesten
Einstelldaten und Methodologien.

Esta publicación, usada por las Estaciones de Servicio HUSQVARNA, se ha realizado
con el fin de ayudar al personal autorizado para efectuar las operaciones de manten-
imientoyreparacióndemotocicletas. El perfectoconocimientodelosdatos técnicos que
aquisepresentanesdeterminanteparalacompletaformaciónprofesionaldelmecánico.
Con el fin de que sea una lectura comprensible, los párrafos se señalan con dibujos
esquemáticos que ilustran el tema tratado. Se incluyen nuevas informaciones con
significados específicos:
Normas antiaccidentes para el mecánico y para todo aquel que se encuentre en los
alrededores.
Posiblidad de dañar el vehiculo y/o sus componentes.
Otras informaciones acerca de la operación tratada.
Consejos útiles
Con el objeto de prevenir averías y para lograr un buen resultado final, HUSQVARNA
aconseja seguir las siguientes normas:
– En caso de una eventual reparación, téngase en cuenta las impresiones del cliente al
poner en manifiesto el funcionamiento de la motocicleta y formular las preguntas
oportunas y aclaratorias sobre las causas de la avería.
– Investigarsobrelascausasdelaanomalía.Enestemanualsepodránadquirirlasbases
teóricas principales que, sin embargo, tendrán que complementarse con la experiencia
personalyla participaciónenlos cursosdeadiestramiento organizadosperiódicamente
por HUSQVARNA.
– Planificarracionalmentelareparaciónparaevitarpérdidasdetiempocomo,porejemplo,
encontrar las piezas de recambio, preparación de las herramientas, etc.
– Acceder a la parte que deba repararse limitándose a las operaciones esenciales.
Con este proposito, el hecho de consultar la secuencia de desmontaje de este manual
serade gran ayuda.
Normas generales para las reparaciones
1 Sustituir siempre las juntas, anillos de compresión y pasadores por otros nuevos.
2 Al tener que apretar o aflojar tuercas o tornillos, empezar siempre por los de tamaño
mayor o por el centro. Apretar hasta el par de torsión prescrito siguiendo un trazado
encruzado.
3 Marcar siempre las piezas o posiciones que podrían confundirse durante el montaje.
4 Utilizar piezas de recambio originales HUSQVARNA y los lubricantes de la marca
recomendada.
5 Utilizar herramientas especiales donde se especifique.
6 Consultarlascircularestécnicasquepodráncontenerdatosderegulaciónymétodosde
reparación mejorados respecto a los del manual.

esenti da difetti di funzionamento; la tabella di manutenzione consigliata per
uso agonistico è riportata al capitolo B.
2) I modelli TE ed SMR sono motocicli per impiego STRADALE (A POTENZA
LIMITATA), garantiti esenti da difetti e coperti da garanzia legale, a condizione
cheVENGA MANTENUTA LACONFIGURAZIONEDI SERIE erispettatala
tabella di manutenzione riportata al capitolo B. Qualora i modelli TE ed SMR
venissero trasformati in motocicli DA COMPETIZIONE (A PIENA POTENZA), la
tabella di manutenzione consigliata per uso agonistico è riportata al capitolo
B.
IMPORTANTE
Per il riconoscimento della garanzia farà da riferimento la CONFIGURAZIONE
DEL VEICOLO, come descritto di seguito:

POTENZA
1) The TC and SMR 450-R models are guaranteed COMPETITION
motorcycles exempt from functional defects, the suggested maintenance table
for competition use is shown on chapter B.
2) TE and SMR are STREET LEGAL motorcycles (with LIMITED POWER
ENGINE); they are guaranteed exempt from functional defects and covered
with legal guarantee, if the STANDARD CONFIGURATION is maintained and
the suggested maintenance table, shown on chapter B, is observed. If TE and
SMR are transformed in COMPETITION MOTORCYCLES (with FULL POWER
ENGINE), the suggested maintenance table for competition use is shown on
chapter B.
IMPORTANT
The reference for recognition of the guarantee will be the MOTORCYCLE
CONFIGURATION, as shown below:

1) les modèles TC et SMR 450-R êtes motocycles DE COMPÉTITION et ils
sont garantis exempté par défauts de fonctionnement; le tableau d’entretien
conseillé pour usage sportif se trouve au chapitre B.
2) les modèles TE et SMR êtes motocycles pour emploi ROUTIER (AVEC LA
PUISSANCE LIMITÉ) garantis exempté par défauts et couvert par garantie
juridique, à la condition que je sois MAINTENUE LA CONFIGURATION DE
SÉRIE et respectée le tableau d’entretien reporté au chapitre B.
Si les modèles TE et SMR ils vinssent transformés en motocycles DE
COMPÉTITION (AVEC LA PLEINE PUISSANCE), le tableau d’entretien
conseillé pour usage sportif est reporté au chapitre B.
IMPORTANT
Pour la reconnaissance de la garantie il fera à la référence la
CONFIGURATION DU VÉHICULE, comme de suite décrit:

1) die WETTBEWERB Motorräder Modelle TC und SMR 450-R garantierten von
Funktionsstörungen frei; die von Wartung geratene Tabelle für
wettkämpferischen Gebrauch ist zur Kapitel B.
2)TE und SMR sind STRAßE GESETZLICHE Motorräder (mit beschränktem
MACHT-MOTOR); sie werden garantiert, befreien Sie von zweckmäßigen
Defekten und deckte mit gesetzlicher Garantie, wenn die ÜBLICHE
KONFIGURATION und der vorgeschlagene Aufrechterhaltungstisch
beibehalten wird, gezeigt zur Kapitel B, wird beobachtet.
Wenn TE und SMR in KONKURRENZ-MOTORRÄDER umgewandelt werden
(mit VOLLEM MACHT-MOTOR), wird der vorgeschlagene
Aufrechterhaltungstisch für die Konkurrenzverwendung auf Kapitel B.
WICHTIG
Der Hinweis für Anerkennung der Garantie wird die MOTORRAD-
KONFIGURATION sein, wie unten gezeigt,:
A) ÜBLICHES MOTORRAD, STRAßE GESETZLICH: mit beschränktem
MACHT-MOTOR
B)KONKURRENZ-MOTORRAD, dasMachenEINEN WETTKAMPFMIT vonder
VERWENDUNG:mitVOLLEMMACHT-MOTOR.
1) los motociclos DE COMPETICIÓN TC y SMR 450-R son garantizados
eximidos por funcionamientos defectuosos; el tablero de manutención
aconsejado para uso agonístico se encuentra en el capítulo B.
2) los modelos TE y SMR son motociclos por empleo VIAL (A POTENCIA
LIMITADA), garantizados eximidos por defectos y cubiertos de garantía legal, a
condición que sea MANTENIDA LA CONFIGURACIÓN DE SERIE y respetada
el tablero de manutención indicada en el capítulo B.
En caso de que los modelos TE y SMR fueran transformados en motociclos
POR COMPETICIÓN (A LLENA POTENCIA) el tablero de manutención
aconsejado para empleo agonístico es reconducido en el capítulo B.
IMPORTANTE
Por el reconocimiento de la garantía hará de referencia la CONFIGURACIÓN
DEL VEHÍCULO, como descrito en seguida:

* Questo motociclo non é stato studiato per percorrere lunghi
tragitti con il motore sempre al massimo dei giri come può
avvenire in occasione di lunghi trasferimenti stradali o auto-
stradali. Lunghi tragitti a pieno gas possono comportare gravi
danni al motore.
This motorcycles was not designed for long trips with the
engine always at maximum rpm as can occur whilst travelling
on roads or highways. Long trips at full throttle can cause
severe damage to the engine.
Cette motocyclette n’était pas projeté pour parcourir longs
trajets avec le moteur toujours au maximum des tours comme
peut se passer en occasion des longs trajets sur routes ou
autoroutes. Longs trajets au plein gaz peuvent causer des
dégats au moteur.
Dieses Motorrad wurde nicht ausgedacht, um immer
höchstens einige Drehungen lange Reisen mit dem Motor
vorzunehmen, wie es anläßlich langer Verschiebungen auf
Straßen oder Autobahnen geschehen kann. Die langen
Reisen in diese Bedingungen können zum ernste Schäden
verursachen Motor.

trayectos con el motor a lo sumo de las vueltas como puede
ocurrir con ocasión de largos traslados viales o de autopista.
Largos trayectos a lleno gas pueden comportar graves daños

motor.

non é dotato di elettroventola e termostato. Lunghe soste al
semaforo con il motore acceso possono causare un
surriscaldamento di quest’ultimo con l’ebollizione dell’acqua
del radiatore.
This motorcycles was not designed for urban use and is not
equiped with a cooling fan and thermostat. Long stops at the
traffic lights can cause overheating and the boiling of radiator
water.
Cette motocyclette n’était pas projeté pour l’emploi urbain et
n’est pas fourni de électroventilateur et thermostat. Longs
stationnements au sémaphore avec le moteur brulant peuvent
provoquer un surchauffage du moteur avec l’ébullition de l’eau
dans le radiateur.
Dieses Motorrad wurde nicht für einen städtischen Gebrauch
gelernt und also ist es unversorgt von Elektrobelüfter und
Thermostat. Lange Haltestellen zur Verkehrsampel mit dem
entzündeten Motor sie können eine Überheizung von dieses
letzten verursachen, sie verursachen hier deshalb Wasser in
den Heizkörpern kochen.

no es dotado de electroventilador y termostato. Largas
paradas al semáforo con el motor encendido pueden causar
un sobrecalentamiento de este último con la ebullición del
agua en el radiador.

competizioni e quindi garantisce il massimo delle prestazioni
con il solo pilota. Se ne sconsiglia pertanto l’uso, in
fuoristrada o in pista, con il passeggero.
This motorcycles is setup for competition use and therefore
guarantees maximum performance with the rider alone. It is
thereby not recommended to use the vehicle on circuits or off-
road with a passenger.

donc le maximum des performances sont garantis avec

* Per mantenere la “Garanzia di Funzionamento” del veicolo, il
Cliente deve seguire il programma di manutenzione indicato
nel capitolo B eseguendo i tagliandi presso le officine autoriz-
zate HUSQVARNA. Il costo per la sostituzione dei pezzi e per la
manodopera necessaria per rispettare il piano di manutenzio-
ne, è a carico del Cliente.La garanzia DECADE in caso di
noleggio del motociclo.
Note
Le indicazioni di destra e sinistra si riferiscono ai due lati del
motociclo rispetto al senso di marcia.

maintenance plan, is charged to the client. The guarantee is
EXTINGUISHED in the case where the motorcycle is rented.

por la sustitución de los particulares y por la mano de obra
necesaria para respetar el plan de manutención, está a cargo
del Cliente. La garantía DECAE en caso de alquiler del
motociclo.
