warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials. HYTORC will repair or replace, without charge, any tool which, upon
examination, proves to be defective in workmanship or materials for one (1) year after the date of purchase.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from repairs made or attempted by unauthorized repair facilities. The repair and
replacement remedies described herein are exclusive. In no event shall HYTORC be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential
damages, including loss of profits. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties or conditions, written or oral, expressed
or implied for merchantability or fitness for particular use or purpose. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have

This power supply is to be used by the skilled person.
Power supply is suitable for use indoor and outdoor use.
IP 65 rated.
State the temperature range -30C to 60C; 90% relative humidity.
Do not operate without Earth Ground.
CAUTION – Double Pole, Neutral Fusing. Disconnect mains before servicing.
Equipment is intended to be fastened in place, the instructions shall explain how to securely fasten the
equipment when the item is not in the case.
Installation instructions for outdoor equipment shall include details of any special features needed for
protection from conditions in the outdoor location.

ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY
The Electric Power Supply (EPS) is an accessory for delivering continuous power to HYTORC electric torque
tools*. This AC to DC power converter is an optional power source intended to be used in place of an 18V DC or
36V DC lithium-ion battery pack, eliminating the need to swap batteries on repetitive bolting jobs, enhancing
overall productivity through dependable continuous operation. It is available with or without the case. The EPS
can be used in the provided case or mounted on a wall.

Inspect all components – EPS unit, case, cannon plug connectors, adapter cables, power cords, tool adapter
– before each use. If damaged, report any sign of damage and do not use.
When not in use, store the accessory and all components in the case (for model with case).
Save operations manual in the storage case (for model with case).
Modifying any of the components invalidates the warranty.
Repair or replace any obviously worn or damaged parts.

The Electric Power Supply (EPS) is designed to provide dependable, uninterrupted power on industrial bolting
jobs. Follow these guidelines for reliable long-term operation.
The converter is IP65 rated.
When operating electric torque tools and the EPS, do not operate in dusty environments or extreme moisture
including rain, snow, or extreme humidity.
The converter is rated for 90% relative humidity (Non-Condensing, Operating).
The operating temperature range is between -30°C to 60°C (-22°F to 140°F).
The storage temperature range is between -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F).
Keep case open during operation to maintain airflow and keep electronics within temperature limits.
This accessory is not certified or approved for explosive environments or areas containing combustible
chemical materials.

The case can be orientated in any direction during operation.
One side section contains the AC and DC adapters and cables.
The other side section is for ventilation purposes. (This side MUST remain uncovered during operation.)
Open case: Turn all butterfly keys to open protective
outer case sections.
Close case: Close covers until properly aligned
(studded plates must match up), then turn butterfly
keys until case is flush and keys no longer rotate.

Connect the AC and DC cords to the EPS by screwing the cannon plug connectors on until hand tight.
Plug the AC power cord into grounded outlet.
Connect the DC Power Cord with Tool Adapter to the tool.
Mount the EPS on any secure wall, shelf, rack, or other vertical flat surface using the bracket provided and
proper hardware. Use the template in this manual for guidance.
Attach: Align the base of the tool with the rails on the
Tool Adapter and slide the Tool Adapter firmly into the
handle until you hear (or see) the lock snap in place.
Remove: Press the release button on the Tool Adapter
and firmly pull it off the tool.
NOTE: When not in use, separate the Tool Adapter
from the tool.
Power on the electric torque tool and operate as
needed.
NOTE: Please refer to operations manual for
instructions on proper usage and handling of the
tool that is attached to the EPS.

Located on the side of Tool Adapter and provides valuable information about the health of the EPS.
*After 2 seconds , the AC light will shut off.
Green LED (on the left) represents
the condition of DC power.
Blue LED (on the right) represents
the condition of AC power.

Indicates the Tool Adapter is not receiving power.Confirm the AC power cord is
connected to a grounded outlet.Check the AC and DC power cords and the Tool
Adapter for damage.

Indicates the AC power input is insufficient. Check quality of AC power outlet, power
source, or power source cabling.
On On System operating.
Hz (slow blink) On Indicates excessive electrical load. Turn off immediately. Contact HYTORC Service
Personnel for servicing the electric tool.
Hz(rapid blink) On Indicates the EPS is reaching high temperatures. Stop operation.
Allow EPS to cool down.
Off On
Indicates output is off and possible error in the Power Supply or supplied device.
Disconnect tool from Tool Adapter and AC power. Reconnect and retry. If the LED
indicator is unchanged, disconnect and contact HYTORC Service Personnel.
