01 INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATION SWITCH
The instrument cluster illumination intensity
can be adjusted by rotating the control switch.
INSTRUMENT PANEL FEATURES
03 STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL (if equipped)
AMODE SWITCH
Each press of the MODE switch
changes the audio source.
BVOL SWITCH
Press the VOL switch to increase or
decrease the volume.
C/ (SEEK) SWITCH
Press the switch once to navigate through
radio presets, or CD/MP3 tracks. Press
and hold to quickly scroll through radio
frequencies or fast-forward/rewind
through CD/MP3 tracks.

AHEADLIGHT SWITCH
To operate the headlights, twist the
switch on the end of the lever:
OFF – Headlights off
– Parking lights on
– Headlights on
NOTE: The ignition must be in the
“ON” position to turn on the headlights.
HIGH BEAM ACTIVATION
Push the lever forward.
Flash-To-Pass Feature: Pull the lever towards you and release.
BFOG LIGHT SWITCH
Rotate the switch to the “ON” position.
NOTE: Fog lights will only function on low beam.

04 TILT AND TELESCOPIC
STEERING WHEEL (if equipped)
Push the lock release lever downward A
to unlock the steering wheel. Adjust the
steering wheel up or down Band forward
or backward Cto the desired position.
After adjustment, pull up on the lock
release lever Ato lock the steering wheel
in place.
WARNING: Do not adjust the steering
wheel while driving. It could result in
loss of control.

TRIP – Distance Traveled
RANGE – Distance to Empty
MPG – Average Fuel Consumption
MPH – Average Speed
NOTE: The ignition switch must be
in the “ON” position to use the
trip computer.
06 CRUISE CONTROL
AON / OFF SWITCH
Press to turn the cruise control system
on or off.
BRES (RESUME) / ACCEL SWITCH
Press to automatically resume the
speed set prior to cancellation.
CCOAST / SET SWITCH
Press to set the desired cruise speed.
DCANCEL SWITCH
Press to cancel the current set speed.

09 CLOCK ADJUSTMENT
When the ignition switch is in the
“ON” position, push the LH or RH
switch to warm the driver’s seat or
the passenger’s seat, respectively.

There are three control buttons for the
digital clock:
R: Push “R” to reset minutes to
“:00”. Press and hold the “R”
button to toggle between military
time and standard time.
H: Push “H” to advance the hours.
M: Push “M” to advance the minutes.
07 WIPER / WASHER
AWIPER SPEED
The windshield wiper switch
has four vertical positions:
intermittent, low speed,
high speed, and mist.

INTERMITTENT WIPERS
With the windshield wiper
switch in the “INT”
position, the interval
between wipes can be
varied by rotating the
“INT TIME” switch.
CWIPE / WASHER OPERATION
To use the windshield washer, pull the wiper/washer lever toward you. The washer continues
to operate until the lever is released.
DMIST
For mist (single wipe), move the lever up one position from “OFF.”

11 OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM
PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF INDICATOR
The indicator will illuminate for
approximately 4 seconds when you turn
the ignition key to “ON” or “START.”
The light will not illuminate when the
passenger’s air bag is enabled. Refer
to the Owners’ Manual for a complete
description of this system.
NOTE: The driver’s air bag and the
driver’s side impact air bag are not part
of the occupant classification system.
Normal forward driving is done
with the shift lever in the D (Drive)
position. To move the shift lever
from the P (Park) position, the
brake pedal must be depressed.
12 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

To reverse, lift the ring located
immediately below the shift knob
and shift into reverse gear position.

device to the auxiliary jack and hear
the music stored on it through the
vehicle speakers. Press the CD/AUX
button on the radio controls to
select the auxiliary mode.

SETTING PRESET MEMORY BUTTONS
(AM/FM OR XM®)
01 Turn radio on by pressing the
POWER button
02 Select AM, FM, or XM radio
03 Tune the Audio Control knob to
the desired channel
04 Press and hold any preset button
(1-6) until an audible beep is heard
to memorize the current channel
NOTE: FM has 2 bands for up to 12 presets. XM has
3 bands and up to 18 presets.
TUNING AND LISTENING TO XM CHANNELS
01 Press the XM button
02 Selecting an XM channel:
• Turn the Audio Control knob to scroll
through the XM channels
• Press the Audio Control knob to
select the desired XM channel
CATEGORY SEARCH – (XM)
01 While in XM mode, press the DIR or
CAT button to change music categories
02 Press the Audio Control knob to select
the desired category
SEEKING NEXT AVAILABLE CHANNEL –

01 Press the SEEK or TRACK button to
seek the next available channel
SCANNING THROUGH AUDIO CHANNELS –
(AM/FM, XM, OR CD/MP3)
01 To scan:
• Press the SCAN button to preview each
channel/track before moving on to
the next
• Press the SCAN button again to stop
the scan feature
• For AM/FM/XM only: Press and hold
the SCAN button until an audible
beep is heard to scan through the
channel presets

• Press the Audio Control knob to select

TO REMOVE FROST OR FOG ON THE WINDSHIELD:
1. Set the mode selection knob 03 to the defrost position. (The A/C will turn on automatically
and the “Fresh” mode will be activated.)
2. Set the fan speed control knob 02 to the highest setting.
3. Set the temperature control knob 01 to the desired setting.
NOTE: If the air conditioner filter for the evaporator blower is not replaced per the scheduled
maintenance section, excessive window fogging may result. This filter is located in the
evaporator housing behind the glove box. Your dealer can replace this filter for you.

ADJUSTING
1. Move the select switch Ato the right or
left to activate the corresponding mirror.
2. Adjust the mirror angle by depressing
the appropriate perimeter switch B.
3. Place the select switch Ain the middle
position to deactivate the perimeter switch.
01 LOCK
Press to lock all doors and arm
the alarm. Press again to hear a
confirmation chirp.
02 UNLOCK
Press to disarm the alarm and unlock
the driver’s door. Press again within
four seconds to unlock all doors.
03 TRUNK RELEASE
Press and hold briefly to open the
trunk lid.
04 PANIC
Press to activate the horn and flashing
lights for 30 seconds. Press again to
turn off panic mode.
REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY
