automatic heating and cooling.
BTEMPERATURE CONTROL – To
increase/decrease in-cabin
temperature.
CFAN SPEED CONTROL – To increase/
decrease blower fan speed.
DMODE – To control the directional
flow of air.

DUAL – To operate driver and
passenger side temperatures
individually.
FAIR QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM
(AQS) –To activate the air quality
control system. AQS automatically
senses outdoor air pollutants and
minimizes them from entering
the vehicle.
NOTE: While using AQS, unpleasant or
foul odors may still be noticeable
within the vehicle.
HFRONT DEFROST/DEFOG –
1. Set temperature control Bto warmest
setting.
2. Set fan speed Cto highest setting.
3. Press front windshield defrost control H.
4. Adjust temperature for comfort after
window has defogged.
IREAR WINDOW/SIDE MIRROR
DEFROST – To activate/deactivate.
JAIR CONDITIONING – To activate/
deactivate air conditioning.
KRECIRCULATION – To activate/
deactivate. In this mode, air is
drawn from within the passenger cabin.
LOFF – To turn Climate Control
System off.

Occupant Classification System
PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF INDICATOR G
The indicator will illuminate when you turn the ignition ON. The light will
not illuminate when the front passenger’s air bag is enabled. The occupant
classification system will disable the right front passenger’s air bag under certain
conditions (light on). Refer to your Owner’s Manual for a complete description of
this system.
NOTE: Driver’s air bag and side impact air bag are not part of the occupant
classification system. Never place children under 13 years old in front seats
to avoid injury that may result from air bag deployment. Always refer to the
Owner’s Manual for complete safety precaution information.
Clock
Push and hold Reset to toggle
between 12 or 24 hours.
STANDARD AUDIO SYSTEM
1. Press TUNE Ebutton.
2. Turn TUNE knob Eto Bluetooth. Press knob to select.
3. Turn TUNE knob Eto Pair. Press knob to select.
4. Follow voice command instructions to complete pairing the phone.
5. When prompted, enter the Passkey (Default Passkey 0000).
DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEM (DIS)
1. Press INFO/PHONE button H.
2. Select Connect Phone by turning knob F.
3. Select your phone under Pair Phone by
turning knob F.
4. In your mobile phone Bluetooth setup
menu, select Add New Device.
The default name of the Bluetooth
Device is GENESIS.
5. When prompted, enter the Passkey
(Default Passkey 1234).
6. The name of the connected device will
be displayed on the phone.
TOUCH SCREEN SYSTEM
1. Press PHONE button
2. Press the SETTINGS button on phone screen
3. Press the PAIRINGS button
4. Press the ADD TO button
5. In your mobile phone Bluetooth
setup menu, select Add New
Device. The default name of the
Bluetooth Device is GENESIS.
6. When prompted, enter the Passkey (Default Passkey 1234).
7. The name of the connected device will be displayed on the phone.
