4. UV PANEL PRINTING & LAMINATING
To print with YMCK panel and Fluorescent (UV) panel without overlay panel, and to laminate
4.1. About a User Defined Mask
For anti-forgery protection, the Fluorescent Panel makes SMART print secure images that are invisible except when viewed under
ultra-violet light. You can design secure images with a “user defined mask”. The format of a mask file is a bitmap file (bmp file),
and the size of a mask file is 1012 pixels width and 633 pixels height. The RGB value of objects in a “user defined mask”is the
factor that SMART distinguishes which panel is used. R value is for Overlay(O) panel, G value is for printing(YMCK) panel, and B
value is for Fluorescent (F) panel. Value “0”means ‘activated’and value “255”means ‘inactivated’.
- Blue = RGB(0, 0, 255) : printing and overlay
- Pink = RGB (255, 0, 255) : printing only
- Black = RGB(0, 0, 0) : printing, overlay and UV printing
- Red = RGB (255, 0, 0) : printing and UV printing
