2. Aach the loop Velcro patches to the interior of your helmet,
aligned at ear level.
3. Ax the padded speakers to the helmet by matching up the
Velcro pieces. Make sure with the longer cable is on the le.
4. Plug the helmet speaker earphones into the DIN jack on the
throat strap. Next, plug the throat mic into the PTT/VOX splier
using the mini DIN connectors. Be sure to align the indicators
when connecng the mini DIN.
5. Plug the 3.5mm pin of the adaptor wire for your radio or phone
into the PTT/VOX splier. If you would like to use a PTT, plug into

phone, plug into VOX jack. Plug the other side of the adaptor into
your radio or phone.
6. Lastly, place the neck band around your neck. Posion the
transponder so that it sits ush to your neck. Due to variances in

adjustment for maximum performance.
7. Your throat mic is now operaonal.
Using the PTT
All versions of the GP3 and GP3-X2 (except adaptors D and E)
come with the Finger PTT. To use, simply plug the PTT into the
PTT/VOX splier. To transmit, simply press the buon and hold
while talking. To receive, release the buon. In mobile phone
versions, the Finger PTT funcons as an answer/end call buon.
Simply push to answer the call, and push again to hang up.
USE and Care
For best transmission quality when using the GP3/GP3-X2, place
the transponder about 0.5 - 1 inch on either side of your larynx/
voice box. Opmal transponder posion on the neck will vary
between individuals.
The GP3/GP3-X2’s neck strap is adjustable. To increase the
diameter of the strap, simply adjust the neckband at the clips.
Reverse the direcon to decrease the diameter.
While the GP3/GP3-X2 is highly water resistant, it is not
waterproof. Do not immerse it in water.
The transponder is highly sensive. Do not apply pressure to the
inside face of the transponder.
Caution
It is extremely dangerous to ride a motorcycle while talking. It may also be
illegal in some areas. Please only use the GP3/GP3-X2 in areas where it is
permied. Use cauon when operang.
Do not operate your radio or phone at high volume levels when using the
GP3/GP3-X2. Hearing experts advise against connuous exposure to high
volume levels. If you experience ringing in your ears, disconnue using the
GP3/GP3-X2.
