General Information:
The IBS Industrie-Brenner-Systeme GmbH does
not take any liability or warranty in case of
improper installation or operation of the gear
motor. The default technical specifications
have to be followed. All gear motors have been
tested in the factory before delivery.
Safety instructions for installation:
Depending on the real installation and operation
conditions particular safety regulations and
measures have to be observed.
The installation and commissioning of the
gear motor has to be carried out by qualified
specialists who have sound electrical and
mechanical knowledge!
Incorrect fitting, adjustment, modification,
operation or maintenance may cause injuries
or material damages. Please follow these
instructions. Local regulations issued by the
electrical and gas supply companies as well
as other relevant regulations have to be
observed.

Angaben einzuhalten. Alle Stellantriebe sind
werkseitig auf Funktion geprüft.

Einsatzbedingungen sind besondere Sicherheits-
vorschriften und –maßnahmen zu beachten!
Die Montage, Installation und Inbetriebnahme
des Regelantriebs darf nur durch qualifizierte
Fachkräfte erfolgen welche über fundierte
elektrische und mechanische Kenntnisse
verfügen!
Unsachgemäßer Einbau, Einstellung, Verände-
rung, Bedienung oder Wartung kann Verletz-
ungen oder Sachschäden verursachen. Gehen
Sie bitte nach dieser Anleitung vor.

Safety information:
Wiring, grounding etc. has to be executed
acc. to the locally applicable regulations
To enable the gear motor to be switched
voltage free a two-pole separation device
has to be connected in series
The supply voltage has to comply with
the specification on the type label
Cable-Ø max. 10 mm, wire profile max.
1,5 mm2, enter cable through the screw
joint
Before commissioning and after each
modification of the installation verify
safety and function
If being used in vibrating applications the
wiring has to be checked once a year for
loose contacts, retorque all contact
screws
ELECTRICAL WIRING
Sicherheitshinweise:
Verdrahtungen, Erdung usw. nach den
örtlich gültigen Vorschriften ausführen
Regelantrieb muss spannungsfrei geschalten
werden können – zweipolige Trennvorrichtung
vorschalten!
Die Netzspannung muss mit den Angaben
auf dem Typenschild übereinstimmen
Kabel-Ø max. 10 mm, Adernquerschnitt
max. 1,5 mm2, Kabel durch die Verschraubung
einführen
Vor der Inbetriebnahme sowie nach jeder
Änderung an der Installation Sicherheitsein-
richtung und Funktion prüfen
Bei Einsatz an Aggregaten welche nicht
erschütterungsfrei laufen, einmal jährlich
Verdrahtung überprüfen; Klemmschrauben
nachziehen

a) Manual operation:
1. Contact voltage L1 for manual operation
to terminal no. 6
2. Set switch“Auto – Manual” to the right in
position“Hand”(“Manual”, see picture at
page 3, item 6)
3. Push service switch“Left – Right” (see
picture at page 3, item 7) to the left, in
position“OPEN” the limit switch S2
switches off the drive; in the end position
voltage L1 for manual operation is on the
feedback, terminal 2
4. Push service switch“Left – Right” (see
picture at page 3, item 7) to the right, in
position“CLOSED” the limit switch S2
switches off the drive; in the end position
voltage L1 for manual operation is on the
feedback, terminal 3
b) Automatic operation:
1. Set switch“Auto – Manual” to the left in
position“Auto”(“Automatic”, see picture
at page 3, item 6)
2. Contact voltage L1 for the closing of the
motor on terminal 5: motor turns
“CLOSED”,
or
3. Contact voltage L1 for the opening of the
motor on terminal 5: motor turns“OPEN”
COMMISSIONING AND
ADJUSTMENT
a) Handbetrieb:
1. Spannung L1 für Handbetrieb an Klemme
(6) anlegen
2. Serviceschalter„Auto – Hand”nach rechts
auf Position“Hand” drücken (vgl. Abbildung
Seite 3, Position 6)
3. Serviceschalter„Links – Rechts“
(vgl. Abbildung Seite 3, Position 7) nach links
drücken, in der Stellung„GEÖFFNET“ schaltet
der Endlagenschalter S2 ab; in der Endstel-
lung liegt die Spannung L1 für Handbetrieb
auf der Rückmeldung Klemme 2
4. Serviceschalter„Links – Rechts“
(vgl. Abbildung Seite 3, Position 7)
nach rechts drücken, in der Stellung
„GESCHLOSSEN“ schaltet der Endlagenschal-
ter S1 ab; in der Endstellung liegt die Span-
nung L1 für Handbetrieb auf der Rückmel-
dung Klemme 3
b) Automatikbetrieb:
1. Serviceschalter„Auto – Hand”nach links
auf Position“Auto” drücken (vgl. Abbildung
Seite 3, Position 6)
2. Anlegen der Spannung L1 für das
Schließen des Antriebs an Klemme 5: Antrieb
fährt zu
oder:
3. Anlegen der Spannung L1 für das Öffnen
des Antriebs an Klemme 4: Antrieb fährt auf
INBETRIEBNAHME UND
EINSTELLUNG
Zum Einstellen mittels Schraubendreher die
Verstellschrauben der Schaltnocken drehen.

Schaltnocke S1: Schaltet den Antrieb in Position
„GESCHLOSSEN“ ab. Verdrehen des Schrauben-
drehers nach links verschiebt den Schaltpunkt
nach oben (max. Winkel S1 30°);
Verdrehen des Schraubendrehers nach
rechts verschiebt den Schaltpunkt nach unten
(min.Winkel S1 30°)
Schaltnocke S2: Schaltet den Antrieb in Position
„GEÖFFNET“ ab.Verdrehen des Schraubendrehers
nach links verschiebt den Schaltpunkt nach unten
(min.Winkel S2 60°);
Verdrehen des Schraubendrehers nach rechts ver-
schiebt den Schaltpunkt nach oben (max.Winkel
S2 90°)
Schaltnocke S3 and S4: Diese Schaltnocken
betätigen potentialfreie Kontakte. Verdrehen
des Schraubendrehers nach links verschiebt den
Schaltpunkt im Bereich 0° bis 90°.
Switching cam S1: Switches the drive off in
position„CLOSED“. Turning the screwdriver to the
left shifts the switching point to higher angles
(max. S1 30°)
Turning the screwdriver to the right shifts the
switching point to lower angles (min. S1 0°)
Switching cam S2: Switches the drive off in
position„OPEN“Turning the screwdriver to the
left shifts the switching point to lower angles
(min. S2 60°)
Turning the screwdriver to the right shifts the
switching point to higher angles (max. S2 90°)
Switching cam S3 and S4: These cams are
switching dry contacts.Turning the screwdriver
to the left shifts the switching point in a range of
0° to 90°.
