Installation
1. Loosen both screws on the side.

2. Carefully slide out the inner frame.
3. Carefully insert both SSDs at a small angle of approx. 30° and then press
the SSDs down.

4. Fix the SSDs sideways with the enclosed screws.
5. Slide the inner frame back in and fix it with the two screws on the side.

6. Plug the power supply unit into the mains socket and the DC In plug into the
jack on the back of the enclosure.
7. Connect the enclosure with your computer using the USB cable.
a. Use the USB Type-C® to Type-C® cable or
b. Use the USB Type-C® to Type-A cable

Usage
• The RAID enclosure can be connected or disconnected while the computer
is running.
• Please await the end of read/write operations before disconnecting the unit
to avoid data loss.
• A new SSD must first be initialized, partitioned and formatted by the opera-
ting system to be displayed by the system.
• If the drive is not recognized instantly by the operating system, please check:
if the driver software (USB) is installed and up to date.
if the SSD is initialized, partitioned and formatted.
Hint: The full USB 3.2 Gen 2 transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s can only be achieved
with a compatible USB 3.2 Gen 2 port on your host computer.
Set RAID mode
Set the RAID mode according to your individual needs.
Set the RAID mode using the two small slide switches on the back.
Hint: Use the small screwdriver to move the switches.

Note: The blue LED on the rear panel indicates the current RAID mode.
ATTENTION: After pressing the "RESET"
button all stored data will be lost!

ATTENTION: After each change of the RAID mode (pressing the "RESET"
button), the disk(s) in the system must be reinitialized and reformatted.
To initialise and format the data media, open the data media management of your
operating system and carry out the initialisation and formatting.
SINGLE - NORMAL
Both SSDs are integrated as independent drives with
their own content, independent of each other.
JBOD (LARGE) - BIG
Both SSDs are combined into a single logical vo-
lume without redundancy. JBOD is used to simplify
access to multiple hard drives.
RAID 1 (Mirroring) - SAFE
Both SSDs store the same data, creating redun-
dancy.
If one SSD fails, all data is still stored on the second
SSD.
RAID 0 (Striping) - SPEED
The data is distributed (striped) to both SSDs, which
increases the access speed because both SSDs are
accessed simultaneously.
ATTENTION! If one SSD fails, all data is lost!

2. Schieben Sie den inneren Rahmen vorsichtig heraus.
3. Setzen Sie beide Datenträger vorsichtig in einem kleinen Winkel von
ca. 30° ein und drücken Sie die Datenträger anschließend nach unten.

4. Fixieren Sie die Datenträger seitlich mit den beiliegenden Schrauben.
5. Schieben Sie den inneren Rahmen wieder ein und fixieren Sie diesen mit
den beiden Schrauben an der Seite.

6. Stecken Sie das Netzteil in die Steckdose und den DC-In Stecker in die
Buchse auf der Rückseite des Gehäuses.
7. Verbinden Sie das Gehäuse über das USB Kabel mit Ihrem Computer.
a. Nutzen Sie das USB Type-C® zu Type-C® Kabel oder
b. Nutzen Sie das USB Type-C® zu Type-A Kabel

Anwendung
• Das RAID Gehäuse kann bei laufendem Computer angeschlossen oder
getrennt werden.
• Bitte warten Sie das Ende von Lese-/Schreibvorgängen ab, bevor Sie das
Gerät ausstecken, um Datenverluste zu vermeiden.
• Eine neue SSD muss zunächst vom Betriebssystem initialisiert, partitioniert
und formatiert werden, um vom System angezeigt zu werden.
• Wenn das Laufwerk nicht sofort vom Betriebssystem erkannt wird, prüfen Sie bitte:
ob die Treibersoftware (USB) installiert bzw. auf dem neuesten Stand ist.
ob die SSD initialisiert, partitioniert und formatiert ist.
Hinweis: Die volle USB 3.2 Gen 2 Übertragungsrate von bis zu 10 Gbit/s kann nur mit
einem kompatiblen USB 3.2 Gen 2 Anschluss an Ihrem Hostcomputer erreicht werden.
Einstellen des RAID Modus
Stellen Sie den RAID Modus nach Ihren individuellen Wünschen ein.
Die Einstellung des RAID Modus erfolgt über die beiden kleinen Schiebeschalter an
der Gehäuserückseite.
Hinweis: Nutzen Sie den kleinen Schraubendreher, um die Schalter zu verstellen.

2. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der „RESET“ Taste
Hinweis: Die blaue LED an der Rückseite zeigt den aktuellen RAID Modus an.
ACHTUNG: Nach Drücken der „RESET“ Taste
gehen alle gespeicherten Daten verloren!

ACHTUNG: Nach jedem Ändern des RAID Modus (Drücken der „RESET“
Taste) muss der/die Datenträger im System neu initialisiert und forma-
tiert werden.
Um die Datenträger zu initialisieren und zu formatieren, öffnen Sie die Datenträ-
gerverwaltung Ihres Betriebssystems und führen die Initialisierung und Formatierung
durch.
SINGLE - Normal
Beide SSDs sind als eigenständige Laufwerke mit
eigenem Inhalt integriert, unabhängig voneinander.
JBOD (LARGE) – Groß
Beide unabhängige SSDs werden zu einem logi-
schen Volumen zusammengefasst, ohne Redundanz.
JBOD wird oft verwendet, um den Zugriff auf
mehrere Festplatten zu vereinfachen.
RAID 1 (Spiegelung) - Sicherheit
Beide SSDs speichern dieselben Daten und erzeu-
gen somit eine Redundanz.
Wenn eine SSD ausfällt, sind alle Daten noch auf
der zweiten SSD gespeichert.
RAID 0 (Streifen) - Geschwindigkeit
Die Daten werden auf beide SSDs verteilt (gestreift),
wodurch die Zugriffsgeschwindigkeit erhöht wird,
da auf beide SSDs gleichzeitig zugegriffen wird.
ACHTUNG! Wenn eine SSD ausfällt, sind alle
Daten verloren!
