1. Safety Instructions
-Before using this product, read and follow all warnings and instructions.
-This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory or
mental disabilities, or a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they’re under supervision
or have received instructions about the correct use of the device by the person who is
responsible for their safety;
-This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
-Do not expose to dripping or splashing.
-No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on or near the product.
-Ventilation should not be impeded by covering ventilation openings with items such as
newspapers, table cloths, curtains and the like.
-Make sure the unit is adjusted to a stable position. Damage caused by using this product in
an unstable position or by failure to follow any other warning or precaution contained
within this user manual will not be covered by warranty.
-Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases on or near the product.
-Do not use or store this product in a place where it is subject to direct sunlight, heat,
excessive dust or vibration.
-Do not keep or store this product in wet conditions for a long period.
-Do not clean this product with water or other liquids.
-Do not block or cover the slots and holes in the product.
-Do not push foreign objects into the slots or holes in the product.
-Do not attempt to open this product yourself. There are no user serviceable parts inside.

2. The Speaker
2.1. Functionalities
-Bluetooth Version 2.1.

-By connecting the speaker with a smartphone via BLUETOOTH, you can make phone calls
using the built-in microphone and speaker.
-You can enjoy up to 5 hours of continuous wireless music playback with the built-in lithium
rechargeable battery.
-External input jack: AUX IN.
-You can enjoy slow and fast RGB decoration light effect for little fun.
-Charging the speaker by connecting to a computer with the Micro-USB cable supplied.

3. Using the Speaker
3.1. Rechargeable Battery & Charging
This Bluetooth Speaker has an internal, non-user-replaceable battery. For the best results, the first
time you use this Bluetooth Speaker, let it charge for about 2 ~ 3 hours, or until the red “ MODE”
indicator (7) light switches to off; this means the battery is fully charged.
To maintain the battery life and performance, you should recharge the battery if the speaker isn’t
used for a while. Charge the battery at least once every month.
To recharge the built-in battery:
1. Connect the Bluetooth Speaker’s “Micro USB Socket” (8) with the Computer’s USB port through
the USB cable (provided).
2. The “ MODE”Indicator (7) will show a red light, which means the battery is charging.
3. The “ MODE” Indicator (7) will turn automatically off when the battery is fully charged.
4. Disconnect the USB cable when it is done with charging.
3.2. Power On/Off and Pairing
1. Press and hold the “ /”(3) button to turn on the device; a series of tones will sound and
the “ MODE” Indicator (7) will rapidly flash blue in seconds from blinks. The speaker is in the
Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. Then activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile device (such as a Smartphone or Personal
Computer); the device will enter to Bluetooth searching mode automatically. If this doesn’t
happen, tap the related selection to manually enter to searching mode. (refer to your device’s
manual if necessary).
3. Your mobile device should show “ICES IBTS-6” in the Bluetooth Devices list, and then select it
for pairing. Wait for some seconds and you will see the message that you are connected on your
mobile device. Note: For some Bluetooth devices, you may need to input “0000” as pairing
password.
4. If the pairing is successful, a beep sound will be heard and the “ MODE” Indicator (7) will
switch to slow blinking blue instead of fast.
5. At the same time, the RGB decoration lights will turn On automatically once Bluetooth is in
paired mode.
6. Now, you can start to play music from your mobile device by its music player program.
7. To power OFF the speaker, press and hold the “/”(3) button.
Note:
- To save battery energy, the Bluetooth Speaker will turn to the off mode automatically when no
device is paired in 8 minutes.
- The RGB decoration lights cannot be turned on when the speaker in Bluetooth at
searching/pairing mode.

3.3. Disconnect from a Paired Device
1. To disconnect with a paired device, preferably turn off the Bluetooth Speaker directly. Other
options:
2. You can choose “Disconnect” from your Bluetooth paired device list or turn “Off” the Bluetooth
function on your mobile device.
3. In this case the Bluetooth Speaker will switch back to “Searching/Pairing” mode automatically
itself; a series of tones will sound and the “ MODE” Indicator (7) will rapidly flash blue again
instead of blinking slowly.
4. Now, you can process for new mobile device pair or power Off the Bluetooth Speaker as you
want (refer to part 3.2 above).
3.4. Auto Re-connect with a Paired Device and New Pairing
1. Every time you turn On the Bluetooth speaker power, it will firstly search for the mobile device
that was paired previously and which is still in record. The Bluetooth Speaker will re-connect
this mobile device as priority if it is in Bluetooth searching device mode and connection range.
2. If not found in some seconds, the Bluetooth Speaker then will turn into new pairing mode
automatically.
3. Now you can process for new mobile device pair (refer to part 3.2 above).
3.5. Switch to New Pairing from Connected Mode
1. In Bluetooth connected mode, you can switch the Bluetooth Speaker into Bluetooth
searching/pairing mode for pairing with the new device at any time you desire;
2. Press and hold the “/”(5) button until a series of tones sound, the “ MODE” Indicator
(7) will switch to rapidly flashing blue instead of blinking slowly.
3. Now you can process for a new mobile device pair. (refer to part 3.2 above)
3.6. Bluetooth Music Playing Control Function
1. In playing music, press the “ /”(5) button to pause the playing music. To resume press it
again.
2. Press and hold the “/”(6) button to increase the volume level.
3. Press and hold the “/”(4) button to decrease the volume level.
4. When the maximum or minimum volume is reached, a beep sound will be heard.
5. Press the “/”(6) button once to go to the next track.
6. Press the “/”(4) button once to go to the previous track.

3.7. Phoning function
1. When there is an incoming call during Bluetooth music playing mode, the ringing sound will
appear and the currently playing music will automatically be paused.
2. Press the “/ (5)” button to pick up the call if you want.
3. Now you are using the phoning function with the Bluetooth speaker.
4. Press the “/ (5)” button again to hang up the call when it’s finished. The music that was
being paused, will resume to play automatically.
5. Press and hold the “/ (5)” button for 3 seconds to ignore the incoming call.
Tip: Speak to the “MIC” (10) hole directly with a distance between 30~60cm to get the best
speakerphone performance, if necessary.
3.8. Re-dial for Last Call Function
This function is to re-dial the last-called number with the Bluetooth Speaker, even when it is in music
playing mode.
1. Press the “/”(5) button twice to enter into the re-dialing function; the music that’s
playing will automatically pause and switch to the phoning function for redial.
2. Press the “/”(5) button again to finish the redialed call.
3. Make sure that your mobile phone has a ‘last called’ number in its record; if not, re-dialing the
last-called number cannot be activated.
3.9. AUX-IN Function
1. In the power ON mode, connect the Bluetooth Speaker’s “AUX IN Jack” (9) with an external
device’s “Earphone/AUX/LINE” Output through the Audio Cable (Provided).
2. The Bluetooth Speaker will switch to “AUX In” mode automatically from the Bluetooth mode,
and the “MODE” Indicator (7) will switch to a long light instead of blinking.
3. At the same time, the RGB decoration lights will turn on automatically once AUX In is in the
connected mode.
4. Now the AUX In function is ready, start to play music from your external device by its controls
and/or program: for example Play, Stop, Volume Control etc.

5. You also can use the controls on the Speaker itself:
-Press and hold the “/ (6)” button to increase the volume level.
-Press and hold the “/ (4)” button to decrease the volume level.
6. When the maximum or minimum volume is reached, a beep sound will be heard.
7. Disconnect the Audio cable when it is done.
3.10 RGB Decoration Lights Effect On and Off
1. This device’s design allows you to switch the RGB decoration lights effect On and Off in order
to save the battery energy if you want it to. This option can extend the playing time for music.
2. Press the “/” (3) button shortly to switch Off the RGB light.
3. Press this button shortly again to switch on the RGB light.
4. Furthermore, the RGB decoration lights will turn On again automatically each time you switch
between the Bluetooth paired mode and the AUX in mode.
3.11 Low Power Reminder and Power Off
1. In case the power of the Speaker is low, it will send tones every minute as a reminder. When
you hear this sound, please connect the device with the USB power for charge if you still want
to use the device.
2. If you don’t do this, the Bluetooth Speaker will power Off automatically within minutes.
3. In this case, the device cannot be turned On, until you recharge the battery at least 10 ~ 15
minutes, because the rechargeable battery doesn’t have enough energy.
4. Press and hold the “/” (3) button to turn the device On after it’s charged with enough
energy if you want.
3.12 Reset the Device
In some circumstances the device’s functions may not function well and need to be reset. To reset
the Bluetooth speaker:
Press the “/” (4) and the “/” (6) button at the same time; the device is reset and
turns OFF. Then press and hold the “/”(3) button to turn On and restart the device after the
reset is done.

4. Trouble Shooting
Speaker doesn’t
switch on
•Check whether the battery is charged with enough energy.
No sound is heard
•Check whether the volume level is in lower position on your speaker and
mobile phone or PC/Mac.
•Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within the effective operation
range.
•Check whether the Bluetooth device is paired.
•Check whether the Bluetooth device shows it’s connected.
•Check whether you have selected the correct audio source.
•If using the AUX IN port, make sure the 3.5mm jack cable is securely
inserted into the Bluetooth Speaker and your device.
No response from

Restart the speaker by means of the reset function.

2. De luidspreker
2.1. Functionaliteit
-Bluetooth versie 2.1.
-Compatibele BLUETOOTH profielen: A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP.
-U kunt bij het maken van een verbinding tussen de luidspreker en een smartphone via
Bluetooth, bellen met gebruikmaking van de ingebouwde microfoon en luidspreker.
-Met de ingebouwde herlaadbare lithiumbatterij kunt u van maximaal 5 uur continue
draadloze muziekweergave genieten.
-Externe input: AUX-INGANG.
-U kunt genieten van trage en snelle effecten door de RGB-sierverlichting.
-Laad de luidspreker op door hem met de meegeleverde Micro-USB-kabel op een computer
aan te sluiten.

3. Het gebruik van de luidspreker
3.1. Herlaadbare batterij en opladen
Deze Bluetooth-luidspreker heeft een interne batterij, die niet door de gebruiker kan worden
vervangen. Laad voor de beste resultaten de Bluetooth luidspreker de eerste keer ongeveer 2 - 3 uur
opladen, totdat het rode indicatielampje “ MODUS” (7) uitgaat; dit betekent dat de accu volledig
is opgeladen.
Om de levensduur en prestaties van de batterij te verzekeren, moet u de batterij opladen als de
luidspreker gedurende enige tijd niet wordt gebruikt. Laad de batterij tenminste eenmaal per maand
op.
Het opladen van de ingebouwde batterij:
1. Sluit de “Micro USB-aansluiting” (8) van de Bluetooth luidspreker door middel van de
(inbegrepen) USB-kabel aan op de USB-poort van de computer.
2. De indicator “ MODUS” (7) licht rood op, wat betekent dat de batterij wordt opgeladen.
3. De indicator “ MODUS” (7) gaat automatisch uit als de batterij volledig is opgeladen.
4. Ontkoppel na het voltooien van het opladen de USB-kabel.
3.2. In-/uitschakelen en Bluetooth koppeling
1. Houd de toets “ /” (3) ingedrukt om het apparaat in te schakelen; er klinken een aantal
tonen en de indicator “ MODUS” (7) knippert snel in blauw. De luidspreker bevindt zich in de
Bluetooth koppelingsmodus.
2. Activeer dan de Bluetoothfunctie op uw mobiele toestel (zoals een smartphone of een personal
computer); het apparaat gaat automatisch naar de Bluetooth zoekmodus. Druk als dit niet
gebeurt op de desbetreffende selectie om naar de handmatige zoekmodus te gaan. (raadpleeg
indien nodig de gebruiksaanwijzing van uw toestel).
3. Op uw mobiele toestel moet: “ICES IBTS-6” in de lijst met Bluetooth toestellen verschijnen.
Selecteer dit toestel voor het paren. Wacht enkele seconden; hierna ziet u een melding dat de
verbinding met uw mobiele toestel tot stand is gebracht. Opmerking: Voor sommige Bluetooth-
apparaten moet u wellicht “0000” invoeren als koppelingswachtwoord.
4. Als het paren is gelukt, klinkt er een pieptoon en de indicator “ MODUS” (7) schakelt om van
snel blauw knipperen naar langzaam knipperen.

5. Zodra Bluetooth zich in de gekoppelde modus bevindt, wordt gelijktijdig de RGB-sierverlichting
automatisch ingeschakeld.
6. U kunt nu uw muziek door middel van de muziekspeler van uw mobiele toestel afspelen.
7. Houd om de luidspreker uit te schakelen de toets “/”(3) ingedrukt.
Opmerking:
- De Bluetooth luidspreker wordt, om de batterij te sparen, automatisch uitgeschakeld wanneer
er binnen 8 minuten geen toestel is gekoppeld.
- De RGB-sierverlichting kan niet worden ingeschakeld als de luidspreker zich in de Bluetooth
zoeken/koppelende modus bevindt.
3.3. Het ontkoppelen van een gekoppeld toestel
1. Schakel bij voorkeur de Bluetooth luidspreker direct uit om de verbinding met een gepaard
toestel te verbreken. Andere opties:
2. U kunt kiezen uit “Disconnect” (“Ontkoppelen”) vanaf uw lijst met gepaarde Bluetooth
toestellen of de Bluetoothfunctie op uw mobiele toestel “Off” (“Uit”) zetten.
3. In dit geval schakelt de Bluetooth luidspreker automatisch vanzelf terug naar de modus
“Zoeken/Paren”; er klinkt een serie pieptonen en de indicator “ MODUS” (7) knippert weer
snel in blauw, in plaats van langzaam te knipperen.
4. U kunt nu naar wens de Bluetooth luidspreker paren met een ander mobiel toestel of hem
uitschakelen (zie bovenstaand punt 3.2).
3.4. Automatisch opnieuw verbinden van een gekoppeld toestel en nieuwe koppeling
1. Iedere keer dat u de stroom van de Bluetooth luidspreker inschakelt, zoekt hij eerst naar het
laatste mobiele toestel waarmee hij was gepaard en dat zich nog in het geheugen bevindt. De
Bluetooth luidspreker koppelt zich met prioriteit met dit mobiele toestel als het zich in de
Bluetooth zoekmodus en binnen het bereik om te koppelen bevindt.
2. Als dit toestel niet binnen enkele seconden wordt gevonden, schakelt de Bluetooth luidspreker
automatisch om naar de modus voor een nieuwe paring.
3. U kunt nu de Bluetooth luidspreker paren met een ander mobiel toestel (zie bovenstaand punt
3.2).
3.5. Het omschakelen vanuit de modus verbonden naar nieuwe koppeling
1. In de modus Bluetooth verbonden, kunt u op ieder gewenst moment de Bluetooth luidspreker
omschakelen naar de modus Bluetooth zoeken/paren om met het nieuwe toestel te paren;
2. Houd de toets “/”(5) ingedrukt totdat er een serie tonen klinkt; de indicator “ MODUS”
(7) schakelt om van langzaam knipperen in blauw naar snel knipperen.
3. Nu kunt u het proces volgen dat nodig is voor het koppelen van een nieuw mobiel apparaat. (zie
bovenstaand punt 3.2)
3.6. Bedieningsfunctie Bluetooth muziekweergave

1. Druk tijdens het afspelen van muziek op de toets “ /” (5) om het afspelen van de muziek
te pauzeren. Druk hem opnieuw in om het afspelen te hervatten.
2. Houd de toets “/”(6) ingedrukt om het volume te verhogen.
3. Houd de toets “/”(4) ingedrukt om het volume te verlagen.
4. Wanneer het maximale of minimale volume is bereikt, zal er een piepsignaal klinken.
5. Druk eenmaal op de toets “/”(6) om naar het volgende nummer te gaan.
6. Druk eenmaal op de toets “/”(4) om naar het vorige nummer te gaan.
3.7. Bel-functie
1. Als er tijdens het afspelen van muziek via de Bluetoothmodus een gesprek binnenkomt, klinkt
de beltoon en wordt de op dat moment afgespeelde muziek automatisch gepauzeerd.
2. Druk als u het gesprek aan wilt nemen op de toets “/ (5)”.
3. U gebruikt nu de belfunctie met de Bluetooth luidspreker.
4. Druk nogmaals op de toets “/ (5)” om het gesprek te beëindigen. Het afspelen van de
gepauzeerde muziek wordt automatisch hervat.
5. Houd de toets “/ (5)” gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt om het inkomende gesprek te
weigeren.
Tip: De beste prestaties van de luidsprekertelefoon worden gehaald wanneer u praat op een afstand
van ongeveer 30 - 60 cm van de “MIC” (10) opening.
3.8. Laatst gebelde nummer bellen
Met deze functie kunt u met de Bluetooth luidspreker het laatst gebelde nummer opnieuw kiezen,
zelfs als hij zich in de modus muziekweergave bevindt.
1. Druk tweemaal op de toets “/”(5) om naar de functie opnieuw kiezen te gaan; de
afgespeelde muziek wordt automatisch gepauzeerd en het apparaat schakelt om naar de
belfunctie om het laatst gebelde nummer terug te bellen.
2. Druk nogmaals op de toets “/”(5) om het gesprek te beëindigen.
3. Zorg dat uw mobiele telefoon een ‘laatst gebeld’ nummer in zijn geheugen heeft; als dit niet zo
is, kan het kiezen van het laatstgekozen nummer niet worden geactiveerd.

3.9. AUX-IN functie
1. Sluit als het apparaat is ingeschakeld de “AUX IN” (9) van de Bluetooth luidspreker d.m.v. de
(inbegrepen) audiokabel aan op de “Oortelefoon/AUX/LINE”-uitgang van een extern apparaat.
2. De Bluetooth luidspreker schakelt automatisch van de Bluetooth modus naar de “AUX In”
modus en de indicator “MODUS” (7) blijf constant branden, in plaats van te knipperen.
3. Zodra de Bluetooth is gekoppeld, wordt de RGB-sierverlichting gelijktijdig automatisch
ingeschakeld.
4. De AUX IN functie is nu gereed om het afspelen van muziek via de bedieningsorganen en/of het
programma van uw externe toestel te starten: bijvoorbeeld afspelen, stoppen, volumeregeling
enz.
5. U kunt ook de bedieningsorganen op de luidspreker zelf gebruiken:
-Houd de toets “/ (6)” ingedrukt om het volume te verhogen.
-Houd de toets “/ (4)” ingedrukt om het volume te verlagen.
6. Wanneer het maximale of minimale volume is bereikt, zal er een piepsignaal klinken.
7. Ontkoppel de USB-kabel als u klaar bent.
3.10. In- en uitschakelen van de RGB-sierverlichting
1. Door het ontwerp van dit apparaat kunt u de RGB-sierverlichting in- en uitschakelen om indien
gewenst de batterij te sparen. Met deze optie kan de speelduur voor muziek worden verlengd.
2. Druk kort op de toets “/” (3) om de RGB-verlichting uit te schakelen.
3. Druk nogmaals kort op deze toets om de RGB-verlichting in te schakelen.
4. Verder gaat de RGB-sierverlichting iedere keer dat u omschakelt tussen de modi Bluetooth
gekoppeld en AUX in weer automatisch aan.
3.11. Indicatie batterij bijna leeg en apparaat uitgeschakeld
1. Als de batterij van de luidspreker bijna leeg is, laat hij ter herinnering iedere minuut een toon
horen. Sluit als u dit geluid hoort en het apparaat nog steeds wilt gebruiken, het apparaat aan
op een USB stroombron om de batterij op te laden.
2. Als u dit niet doet, wordt de Bluetooth luidspreker binnen enkele minuten automatisch
uitgeschakeld.
3. In dit geval kan het apparaat niet worden ingeschakeld voordat de batterij ten minste 10 - 15
minuten wordt opgeladen, omdat de herlaadbare batterij niet voldoende capaciteit heeft.
4. Houd nadat de batterij voldoende is opgeladen het apparaat in wilt schakelen, houd dan de

toets “/” (3) ingedrukt.
3.12. Het opnieuw instellen van het apparaat
Het kan voorkomen dat de functies van het apparaat niet goed werken en dat herinstellen van het
apparaat noodzakelijk is. Het herinstellen van de Bluetooth luidspreker:
Druk gelijktijdig op de toetsen “/” (4) en “/” (6); het apparaat wordt opnieuw
ingesteld en daarna uitgeschakeld. Houd daarna de toets “/” (3) ingedrukt om het apparaat na
het uitvoeren van het herinstellen weer in te schakelen.
4. Probleemoplossing
De luidspreker

•Controleer of de batterij voldoende is opgeladen.

•Controleer of het volume op de luidspreker en/of de mobiele telefoon of
de PC/Mac te laag is ingesteld.
•Verzeker u ervan, dat uw Bluetooth-apparaat zich binnen het effectieve
werkzame bereik bevindt.
•Controleer of het Bluetooth-apparaat is gekoppeld.
•Controleer of het Bluetooth apparaat aangeeft dat er een verbinding is.
•Controleer of u de juiste geluidsbron hebt geselecteerd.
•Zorg er bij gebruik van de AUX-IN aansluiting voor dat de 3,5 mm
klinkstekker van de kabel goed in de Bluetooth luidspreker en het
externe apparaat zijn gestoken.

8. Afvoer van het oude apparaat
