First of all, let us thank you for purchasing the 300N wireless repeater. This wireless repeater
provides a simple way of extending the range of your existing wireless network. It’s ideal if your
wireless signal is limited by obstacles such as concrete walls. This repeater can also be used as
a Wireless Access Point or a Wireless Client Adapter, simply by adjusting the selection button.

AppLICAtIoNs
WIRELESS REPEATER
Extends the range of an existing wireless network. In repeater mode, the device will make
contact with an existing network and pass on the information from client to router. Share files
and internet connections at locations beyond the range of the router.
WIRELESS ACCESS POINT
Connect the repeater directly to a modem or router in order to add wireless network
functionality.
WIRELESS CLIENT
Connect network devices such as a PC or the newer generation of DVD players and TVs to an
existing network and use the additional internet functions.

HArdwAre INstALLAtIoN
Switch the device to the desired functionality:
AP – operates as a Wireless Access Point
Repeater – operates as a wireless repeater
Client - operates as a wireless network client
Connect the wireless repeater to the mains and switch it on using the on/off button.

MAkING A CoNNeCtIoN
WEB INTERFACE
We recommend logging in via the web interface in order to make use of the extended
configurations for the repeater. Connect the repeater to a PC or notebook using a LAN cable.
Make sure the computer is set to receive IP. (Automatically receive an IP address from a DHCP
server)
Open a web browser and type in ‘http://repeater’ or ‘192.168.2.254’ in the address box.
The repeater will ask for a user name and password.
User: admin
Password: 1234
When you click on “OK”, you will be taken to the quick setup of the wireless repeater.
Follow the instructions and settings on the screen. The quick setup may vary, depending on the
setting you selected for the wireless repeater.
When the repeater has been set in the desired mode, leave the device on for 5 minutes. The
repeater can then be switched off and plugged into the mains at a different location. The
settings will then remain the same.

wps (wI-FI proteCted setUp)
Use the WPS button to connect to a wireless broadband router or access point.
1) Press and hold the WPS button on the repeater for 2 seconds.
2) The ‘WPS’ LED starts to flash.
3) Press the WPS button on the router or access point to which you want to connect, within 2
minutes.
When the repeater has been set in the desired mode, leave the device on for 5 minutes.
The repeater can then be switched off and plugged into the mains at a different location.
The settings will then remain the same.

Flashing LAN port is active (data being exchanged).
Off LAN port not connected or LED off mode.

resettING tHe devICe
The wireless repeater can easily be reset to the factory settings.
To do this, press and hold the WPS button for 10 seconds. This will then restore the factory
settings.

This is a class B product. In a domestic environment, this product may cause radio interference,
in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures.

This device cannot be used with handheld PDAs (personal digital assistants). This device and its
antenna must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
SAR measurements are based on a 5mm spacing from the body and that compliance is achieved
at that distance.
