A person who has not read and understood all operating and safety instructions is not
qualied to operate this appliance. All users of this appliance must read and
understand this Instruction Manual before operating or cleaning this appliance.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including:
1. Read all instructions before operating this appliance.
2. DO NOT TOUCH the hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. This appliance is NOT A TOY.
4. Keep out of reach of children.
5. Unsupervised young children and cognitively challenged individuals should never operate
this appliance.
6. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
7. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plug or any part of this unit in
water or other liquids.
8. Do not operate this appliance when parts are missing or broken.
9. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before removing parts and before cleaning. Allow to

Operating Safety Precautions
1. Read all instructions before operating this appliance.
2. Before connecting appliance to power supply, let the unit stand upright for 4 hours.
3. Check appliance for presence of foreign objects prior to use.
4. NEVER put anything living into the freezer for risk of severe injury or death.
5. DO NOT cover or block any ventilation openings on the appliance.
6. Keep the internal temperature as high as you can, which will reduce energy consumption
and save you money.
7. DO NOT continuously open and close the freezer door during normal use.

8. Keep the drawers, stabilizing rods and shelves consistent with their original placement in
the freezer.
9. The electrical circuit requirements are 115 volt and 60 Hz. It is recommended that a separate
circuit serving only this product be provided.
10. DO NOT interrupt the power by pulling the power supply cord and/or pulling the power
plug out of its socket directly.
11. DO NOT damage the refrigerant tubing.
12. All maintenance on this unit should be done by an authorized repair technician.
13. DO NOT put bottled beverages in the freezer, as they may break and/or explode.
14. DO NOT put sealed containers of hot soups. sauces or foods into the freezer without cooling
o rst. Hot soups, sauces or foods placed into the freezer will grow bacteria and can cause
food poisoning.
15. DO NOT store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a ammable propellant in this
appliance. This appliance is intended for household use and similar uses such as:
• Sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments
• Farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and other residential
environments
• Catering and similar non-retail applications
16. DANGER! RISK OF CHILD ENTRAPMENT! Before you throw away your old, TAKE OFF THE
DOORS! Leave the shelves and drawers in a place so that children may not easily climb
inside.
17. DO NOT dispose of this appliance as unsorted municipal waste. Dispose of appliance in
accordance with federal or local regulations.
18. It is best to not store objects that are magnetic, heavy or lled with water or other liquids on
top of this appliance. Electronic components may not work if water gets inside of this

Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug
1. ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD: Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, re, or
electrical shock.
• Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
• DO NOT remove ground prong.
• DO NOT use an adapter.
• DO NOT use an extension cord.
2. This unit MUST be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces
the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This unit is

equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged
into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
3. WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock. If the plug
does not t fully into the outlet, contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
4. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or
tripping over a long cord.
5. The manufacturer does not recommend using this machine in countries that do not support 120V
AC even if a voltage adapter, transformer, or converter is in use.

PARTS & ASSEMBLY
Your UPRIGHT FREEZER requires no assembly. Before using, remove all packing materials
from the inside of the freezer, and peel o the protective lm on the outside of the freezer.
Check the freezer for any damage, such as misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and
sealing surfaces, broken or loose door hinges and latches and dents inside the freezer or on
the door. If there is any damage, DO NOT use the freezer. Return damaged item to the store
where it was purchased.

HOW TO OPERATE
Before rst use, remove all adhesive tape from the drawers, shelves and trays.
INSTALLATION
1. The freezer should be placed on a completely at surface. Allow 1 foot of space on each side
of the freezer and between the freezer and the wall. Also allow at least 8 inches of space
between the top of the freezer and the ceiling.
2. Choose a location for your freezer that is not exposed to sunlight, high temperature or
humidity, as humidity may stain and damage the freezer.
3. The appliance can be adjusted by rolling the two legs in the bottom front of the freezer if it
becomes unstable. Raise the freezer by rolling the adjustable feet clockwise.
4. The surface of the location where the freezer is installed should be rm and at. If freezer is
not secured in a proper location, noise and vibration may occur. The noise may be increased
if the oor is not rm. If you have to position the freezer on a carpeted oor, place a sheet
underneath the freezer, such as plywood or a plastic mat, to prevent heat emissions from
ruining the carpet.
5. Make sure that legs are pressed rmly into the oor and allow the freezer to lean backward
slightly so that the doors remain closed.
DOOR ALIGNMENT
1. Remove the top hinge cover using a at head screw driver. Gently lift from the rear of the
hinge and slide forward.
2. Loosen the top hinge screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Adjust the door or put a spacer in between and then tighten the screws.
4. Replace the top hinge cover by aligning the rear of the cover with the rear of the hinge.
Press rmly on the front of the cover until it snaps into place.
PLACEMENT OF FOOD
1. There should always be some space between items inside for air circulation.
2. Food should be kept in sealed containers to avoid becoming dry, spoiled or creating odors
in the freezer.
3. Hot food should be cooled down before placing into the appliance. Otherwise, bacteria will
grow in food.
4. Reducing the frequency of opening the doors can lower the electronic consumption.
NOTE: Do not use any electronic equipment inside the appliance.
ADJUSTING TEMPERATURE
The temperature of the freezer can be controlled manually by the thermostat dial. As a
general rule, it is best to set thermostat at 2.

Heavy frost will eect the eciency and performance of the freezer and can create

increased energy consumption. If the frost inside of the freezer gets as thick as ¼ inch, you
must defrost the freezer. Follow these steps to defrost the freezer:
1. Turn the unit o.
2. Remove all food from the freezer.
3. Unplug the power supply cord.
4. Open the doors and wait for the appliance to thaw completely.
5. Clean up the water with dry towels.
NOTE: DO NOT use any other equipment or method to force the defrost process. It may ruin
the cooling system.
DISCONNECTING THE APPLIANCE
After a power failure the freezer can keep food cool for several hours if doors are kept shut.
If the power fails, do not put additional food into the freezer or open the doors.
If you plan to have your power shut o for an extended period of time, make sure to remove
all perishable food from the freezer rst.
If you stop use of your freezer for an extended period of time, unplug the appliance from
the outlet.
Always wait at least ve minutes after unplugging the power supply cord before plugging it
back in.
PACKING AND MOVING
Save packing materials if possible and remember how materials are packed in the box.
Repack freezer and accessories carefully.
DO NOT lift or pull the doors or door handles during transportation.
When moving, do not tilt appliance more than 45 degrees. Be very careful not to bump the
freezer into anything.
Allow appliance to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging into the electrical
outlet.

HELPFUL TIPS
• The freezer does not work.
It may not be properly connected to the power supply, or the voltage may be too low.
• The freezer does not work as eciently as expected.
It may be caused by heavy frost, the temperature setting being too warm, or by frequently
opening and closing the door.
• It makes strange noises.
The noises may be caused by the freezer not being stabilized. Make sure the surface that the
freezer is on is at and rm. Noise can also be caused by resonation between the freezer and
objects near it.
• The compressor keeps working for a long period of time.
The temperature may be too high. This can also be caused by the frequent opening and
closing of the doors, or by the door being left open. Try moving the temperature setting
closer to MIN.
• The inside of the freezer has a bad odor.
Food with a strong odor should be packed in tightly closed containers before storing in the
freezer. Make sure to regularly clean out your freezer and make sure that you do not leave
spoiled food in the freezer.
• Water is leaking from the bottom of the freezer.
The drain tube is probably jammed. Contact a qualied technician to repair it.
• Heavy frost occurs in the back of the appliance.
Putting humid or hot food into the freezer may cause this problem. Or it may be caused by a
lot of moisture in the environment.
• DO NOT place objects on top of the freezer that are magnetic, heavy or lled with water.
Electronic components may not work properly if water gets inside. DO NOT store valuables
or objects sensitive to temperature inside the freezer.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
To prolong the life of your UPRIGHT FREEZER, please follow these simple instructions for
maintenance. This appliance should be maintained and cleaned frequently. For your safety,
pull plug from socket before cleaning.
• Interior Maintenance
Clean the interior of the appliance with clean, soapy water. Wipe dry with a non-abrasive
cloth or towel.
• Outer Maintenance
Wipe outside of freezer with a dry, non-abrasive cloth or towel.
• Door Gasket
To clean gaskets and to avoid damage, clean with water only. If you should spill liquid/food
on them clean o right away.

original purchase, this product will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal home

As the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, the Company will at its discretion either repair or
replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.
This warranty is only available to the original retail purchaser of the product from the date of initial retail
purchase, and is only valid with the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase date is required to obtain
warranty benets. All warranty claims must be brought to the attention of the Company within the
warranty period and no later than 30 days of the failure to perform. This warranty does not cover normal
wear or damage caused by shipping, mishandling, misuse, accident, alteration, improper replacement
parts, or other than ordinary household use. You may be required to return the product (with shipping
prepaid by you) for inspection and evaluation. Return shipping costs are not refundable. The Company is

Instrucciones para el cable eléctrico y el enchufe

PIEZAS Y ENSAMBLAJE
Su Congelador vertical no requiere ensamblaje. Antes de usarlo, retire todos los materiales
de empaque del interior del congelador, y desprenda la película protectora en el exterior del
congelador. Compruebe si el congelador tiene algún daño, tal como una puerta desalineada
o torcida, sellos de las puertas y supercies de sellado dañados, bisagras o cierres de la
puerta rotos o sueltos y abolladuras en el interior del congelador o en la puerta. Si hay algún
daño, NO haga funcionar el congelador. Devuelva el elemento dañado a la tienda donde lo
compró.

CÓMO UTILIZAR
Antes de utilizarlo por primera vez, quite toda la cinta adhesiva de los cajones, estantes,
bandejas y el tapón del tubo de drenaje.
INSTALACIÓN
1. El congelador debe colocarse en una supercie completamente plana. Deje 1 pie de
separación a cada lado del congelador y entre el congelador y la pared. También deje al
menos 8 pulgadas de separación entre la parte superior del congelador y el techo.
2. Elija una ubicación para su congelador donde no quede expuesto a la luz solar directa, altas
temperaturas ni humedad, ya que la humedad puede manchar y dañar el congelador.
3. El aparato puede ajustarse girando las dos patas en la parte delantera inferior del congelador
si se vuelve inestable. Eleve el congelador haciendo girar las patas ajustables en sentido
horario.
4. La supercie en la cual se instale el congelador debe ser rme y plana. Si el congelador no se
asegura en una ubicación apropiada, pueden ocurrir ruidos y vibraciones. El ruido puede ser
mayor si el suelo no es rme. Si tiene que colocar el congelador sobre un piso alfombrado,
coloque una lámina debajo del congelador, tal como de madera contrachapada o una
esterilla plástica, para evitar que las emisiones de calor dañen la alfombra.
5. Asegúrese de que las patas estén rmemente instaladas en el suelo y permita que el
congelador se incline ligeramente hacia atrás de modo que las puertas permanezcan
cerradas.
ALINEACIÓN DE PUERTAS
1. Retire la tapa de la bisagra superior con un destornillador de cabeza plana.
2. Levante suavemente desde la parte trasera de la bisagra y deslícela hacia adelante.
Aoje los tornillos de la bisagra superior con un destornillador de cabeza Phillips.
3. Ajuste la puerta o coloque un separador en medio y luego apriete los tornillos.
4. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de la bisagra superior alineando la parte posterior de la tapa con la
parte posterior de la bisagra. Presione rmemente en la parte delantera de la cubierta hasta
que encaje en su lugar.
COLOCACIÓN DE LOS ALIMENTOS
1. Siempre debe haber algún espacio entre los artículos del interior para que haya circulación
de aire.
2. Los alimentos deben conservarse en recipientes sellados para evitar que se sequen, se
estropeen o causen malos olores en el congelador.
3. Los alimentos calientes deben enfriarse antes de colocarse en el aparato. De otro modo,
crecerán bacterias en los alimentos.
4. La reducción de la frecuencia con que abre las puertas puede disminuir el consumo eléctrico.
NOTA: No utilice ningún equipamiento electrónico dentro del aparato.
AJUSTE DE LA TEMPERATURA
La temperatura del congelador puede controlarse manualmente con el selector del
termostato. Como regla general, es mejor establecer el termostato entre Mín. y Máx.
