QUICK START GUIDE
for iLive Speaker with Amazon Alexa
1. Before You Begin
To set up your iLive Alexa speaker you will need the following:
» Your home Wi-Fi password (connect to 2.4Ghz).
» The Amazon Alexa app and your Amazon account login information. If you do
not have an Amazon account, you will need to create one.
» A smartphone or tablet.
2. Download the Alexa App
Scan a QR code below or search for the Amazon Alexa app in the Google Play™
Store or Apple App Store®. Once downloaded, open the Alexa app and log into your
Amazon account.
Alexa Voice Services only works if you are logged into an Amazon account.

3. Download the iLive Wi-Fi App
Scan a QR code below or search for the iLive Wi-Fi app in the Google Play Store™
or Apple App Store™.

4. Connect to Wi-Fi Network
Note: Be sure to connect using the
2.4GHz band.
1. Power on your speaker.
2. Open the iLive Wi-Fi app and press
“Search”. Select your speaker from the
menu and proceed to the next step.
3. The app will direct you to your mobile
device’s Wi-Fi settings menu to connect
directly to the speaker. Select the
speaker and return to the app when you
have successfully connected.
4. In the iLive app, select your Wi-Fi
network/router and enter your password,
then continue.
5. The app will display it’s progress as
it connects the speaker to your Wi-Fi
network. When this is complete, continue
on to sign into your Amazon account and
link Amazon Alexa with the iLive app.
NOTE: If you do not want to link Alexa to
the speaker at this time, press “Cancel”.
You can complete Alexa setup later by
following the steps in the User’s Guide
under “Amazon Alexa Manual Setup”.
5. Things to Try with Alexa
Now that you’re connected, try interacting with Alexa. Start by saying “Alexa,”
followed by a command or question.
Here are some examples:
» “Alexa, tell me a joke.”
» “Alexa, what’s in the news?”
» “Alexa, set a timer for 15 minutes.”
» “Alexa, what can you do?”
