USER MANUAL
Thank you for your illumiflow purchase!
Your Laser Cap is ready-to-use right out of the box! The Battery Pack that powers the Laser Cap comes
partially charged. Additionally, the Extension Cord that connects the Laser Cap to the Battery Pack is
pre-connected - you simply need to connect the USB end of the Extension Cord to the Battery Pack, press
the power button and you can begin your treatment session!
Functionality Notes
• The illumiflow Laser Cap diodes have been designed to
PULSE / BLINK
during use.
• The illumiflow Laser Cap will
BEEP
every 10 minutes to indicate the progression of your treatment
session.

The blue lights on the Battery Pack indicate the current charge level. When charging, the blue lights
will blink in succession until steadily illuminated (not blinking). When all four blue lights are steadily
illuminated, your Battery Pack is fully charged! The charging process can take 3-4 hours.
The Laser Cap has been designed to fit most head shapes and sizes. If you feel that the Laser Cap is too
big (sits against the scalp), or too small (sits up from the scalp) - you may utilize the included headband
to secure the device in place (see illustrations). The Laser Cap is equally effective and safe sitting against
the scalp or suspended from the scalp several inches. The Laser Cap can be angled / adjusted until the
desired area (front or back of scalp) is covered. Headband usage is not required, but offers the capability
to help you fit and adjust the laser cap in a desirable position if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I use the Laser Cap? Can I use it every day?
It is recommended to use our Laser Cap for
30 minutes,
3-4 times per week, on alternating
days.
Additional usage

What happens if I stop using the
Laser Cap?
Just like a healthy diet or exercises, prolonged lifetime use with the Laser Cap is recommended. Unlike chemical
treatments, Laser Cap results will not immediately reverse if temporarily discontinued. Intermittent breaks (vaca-
tions, skipped sessions, etc) won't have a lasting effect on your long-term results. For the fastest results, try to limit
treatment breaks to a minimum.
What should I
expect to
feel during treatment?
The Laser Cap treatment should be completely painless. You may notice a slight warmth which is to be expected and
indicates that the Laser Cap is working.
5-YEAR PRODUCT WARRANTY
The Laser Cap is covered by a 5-Year Product Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
illumiflow covers the cost of new parts up to replacement of the Laser Cap for any problems occurring
within the first five years from the date of purchase. This Product Warranty is void if the product has
been damaged through no fault of the manufacturer, altered in any way or used in a manner other than
as directed.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE POLICY
Because we want you to be completely satisfied with your illumiflow Laser Cap, we will refund the pur

chase price of the Laser Cap if you are not satisfied with your results. Results are dependent on long-term
use according to the directions - you must use the Laser Cap for at least 180 days before returning it. If
you use the product as directed for 180 days and are not satisfied with the results, you may request to
send your Laser Cap back for a refund. After you have requested a return for refund, you will have an
additional 30 days to return the product. Return shipping will be covered by the customer. Refunds will
only be submitted to customers who made the purchase as shown by proof of purchase.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Unpack the box. Identify the box contents and confirm all the pictured components are
present and that they appear to be undamaged.
Before operating, please
note the following: THE ILLUMIFLOW 272 LASER CAP SHOULD
NEVER BE CONNECTED TO THE WALL CHARGER. THE CAP SHOULD ONLY BE POWERED BY
THE BATTERY PACK.
2.
Connect the Laser Cap Cord to the Extension Cord. The Laser Cap Cord has a female con-
nector that fits together with the male connector on the Extension Cord. Insert the Exten-
sion Cord connector (2) into the Laser Cap Cord connector (1). Lock the connectors togeth-
er by twisting the nut on the Laser Cap Cord (1) clockwise. Note: Each connector has an
alignment arrow to ensure the proper connection. See illustration 2.1 below for reference.
3.
Insert the standard USB end of the Extension Cord (2) into the standard sized port on top of
the Battery Pack (5). See illustration 2.2 below for reference.
4.
Place the illumifiow Laser Cap on your head and press the power button on the Battery
Pack to start. The lasers inside the Laser Cap will turn on.
5.
The Laser Cap will automatically shut off after recommended treatment time of 30 minutes.
6.
If you wish to manually end your treatment session prior to the automatic shut off, you can
do so by pressing and holding (5 secs) the power button on the Battery Pack.

CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Disconnect the USB end of the Extension Cord from the Battery Pack.
2.
Insert the AC Adapter cord micro USB connector into the micro USB port in the bot-
tom of the Battery Pack.
3.
Plug the AC Adapter into a grounded wall unit to begin charging the Battery Pack.
The blue indicator lights on your Battery Pack will blink while it is charging.
THE
ILLUMIFLOW 272 LASER CAP MUST NEVER BE CONNECTED TO THE AC ADAPTER.
THE CAP SHOULD ONLY BE POWERED BY THE BATTERY PACK.
4.
When the Battery Pack has reached full charge, all 4 blue indicator lights on your
Battery Pack will be steadily illuminated (not blinking).
Your Battery Pack
will
last between three and four 30-minute sessions before running out of
charge. It has been designed for a minimum of 500 re-charges.
The red lasers of your Laser cap turn on as soon as the power button on the Battery Pack
is
pressed. Make sure that the cap
is
comfortably in position on your head before turning the lasers
on.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Confirm that the power is turned off at the Battery Pack, and then disconnect the USB
end of the Extension Cord from the Battery Pack. NEVER attempt to clean the Laser Cap
while connected to power. Wipe down the inner surface of the Laser Cap with a clean,
damp cloth or use an alcohol pad. DO NOT use copious amounts of water and DO NOT
immerse the device in water.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Basic safety precautions and common sense (especially when children are present)
should be observed when operating the illumiflow Laser Cap, or any other electrical
device.
DANGER: Keep away from water. Contact with water may result in an electrical
shock.
To reduce the risk of hazard by electric shock:
• Disconnect the USB end of the Extension Cord from the Battery Pack after every
use.
• Keep the illumiflow Laser Cap away from water while in use and also when it is be-
ing stored. Be sure it cannot fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Keep the illumiflow Laser Cap away from running water. DO NOT drop in water or
any other kind of liquid.
ENVIRONMENTAL NOTICE
The illumiflow Laser Cap includes a lithium-polymer battery that is classified by the U.S.
federal government as non-hazardous waste. While battery disposal regulations tend
to vary based on local, state, and national regulations, we encourage you to recycle any
used batteries at an appropriate collection site.
To extend the battery life, refrain from subjecting the device to high temperatures.
PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION:
The illumiflow Laser Cap Battery Pack should never be left unattended when
plugged into an outlet since an electrical malfunction could possibly start a fire.
CAUTION: Do your best not to strain the cord when untangling, straightening, or wrap-
ping it for storage. Doing so can cause internal breakage, resulting in product malfunc-
tion.
CAUTION:
Never use magnifying optical objects in tandem with the illumiflow Laser
Cap. Their use in conjunction with this product can result in temporary irritation to the
eyes.
CAUTION: Never use acetone or any other kind of solvent on any part of the illumiflow
Laser Cap as such chemicals can cause severe damage to the device.
CAUTION: Not recommended for use by men with Norwood Hamilton Classifications
1, 2, 5A, 6, or 7 as these types are not likely to experience hair growth from using the
illumiflow Laser Cap (see drawings on Page 6 of this User Manual).
CAUTION:
Not recommended for use by women with Ludwig-Savin Classifications Ill,
Advanced, and Frontal as these types are not likely to experience hair growth from us-
ing the illumiflow Laser Cap (see drawings on Page 6 of this User Manual).
CAUTION:
Neither the safety nor the effectiveness of the illumiflow Laser Cap has been
evaluated in men or women with Fitzpatrick Skin Types 5 or 6 (see drawings on Page 6
of this User Manual).
CAUTION:
The illumiflow Laser Cap should NOT be used during pregnancy and breast-
feeding unless specifically approved by a physician.
CAUTION: Do not use device if package is damaged upon arrival.
NOTICE:
If any malfunction occurs, DO NOT attempt to repair the illumiflow Laser Cap
yourself. This device is not meant to be opened or modified by its user. Use the illu-
miflow Laser Cap as it's intended to be used (as described in this manual). In case of
malfunction, contact illumiflow at 1-800-869-1503.
RISKS
Eyes
- Prolonged direct exposure of the laser light to your eyes can cause harm to your
eyes. Do not shine the light from the illumiflow Laser Cap directly into your eyes.
Scalp
- Some users of Low Level Laser Therapy devices may notice mild scalp itch during
use of the illumiflow Laser Cap. Consult a physician if you experience more than mild
itchiness.
Scalp
- Some users of Low Level Laser Therapy devices
may
notice
a
mild and tempo-
rary tingling during use of the illumiflow Laser Cap. This may last for a short time after
applying treatment. Consult a physician if the problem persists.
Blood Flow
- Some users of Low Level Laser Therapy devices may notice a mild increase
in blood flow to the scalp (also known as vasodilation). This may last for a short time
after applying treatment. Consult

physician if the problem persists.
EXPECTED LIFE OF THE ILLUMIFLOW LASER CAP
The illumiflow Laser Cap is manufactured under strict quality controls and final valida-
tion through GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) as a medical device. The high-quality
laser diodes chosen for the illumiflow Laser Cap are rated to last at least 10,000 hours.
As a combined result of the premium lasers and durable materials used to compose the
illumifiow Laser Cap, we expect the lifespan of each device to be between 10 and 15
years of regular use.
DEVICE FAILURE
Laser lights do not fade or diminish overtime. At the end of a laser's life, or when it
fails to properly function, the red light will simply cease to shine. As each illumiflow
Laser Cap has been designed to last
10-15
years, this occurrence will
be
very rare. DO
NOT look directly at the laser light to determine if it is working. Instead, simply direct
the laser light at the palm of your hand to see "speckles" of red light appear. If no light
appears, please contact illumiflow for repair or replacement of the device.
INDICATIONS
The illumifiow Laser Cap is indicated to promote hair growth in males with androgenic
alopecia who have Norwood-Hamilton Classifications of 2A, 3, 3A, 3 Vertex, 4, 4A and 5;
females with androgenic alopecia who have Ludwig-Savin Classifications of I-i, -2, 1-3,
1-4, lI-i, 11-2; and both males and females with Fitzpatrick Skin Phototypes 1 to 4 (see
drawings on Page 6 of this User Manual).
INFORMATION ON CONDITION
According to the American Academy of Dermatology, Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) is
the most common cause of hair loss. It is a condition involving both genetic and hor-
monal causes and can be inherited from either side of the family. AGA typically indi-
cates as a gradual recession of the hairline in tandem with hair thinning - the phenome-
non of hair becoming finer and shorter over time.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
If you are taking any photosensitizing medications or receiving any therapy that sensi-
tizes the skin to light, DO NOT use the illumiflow Laser Cap. Please consult your physi-
cian if you have any other concerns.

Do not allow children to use or play with the illumiflow Laser Cap. Keep out
of reach of children.
WARNING:
Avoid getting the illumiflow Laser Cap wet. Contact with water may result in
an electrical shock.
WARNING:
Never use the illumiflow Laser Cap if the cord or plug is damaged. Such use
can cause the illumiflow Laser Cap to malfunction and produce an electrical shock. If
the illumiflow Laser Cap is not working properly or if it has been dropped, damaged or
gotten wet, contact illumiflow at 1-800-869-1503.
WARNING:
Avoid using the illumiflow Laser Cap near heated surfaces. Contacting a
heated surface with the cord or plug can cause the product to malfunction and produce
an electrical shock.
WARNING:
Only use the illumiflow Laser Cap according to the instructions provided.
Any other use is not recommended.
WARNING:
Laser Light - Avoid Direct Eye Exposure. DO NOT point laser or allow laser
light to be directed of reflected toward other people. DO NOT stare directly at the laser
light or its reflection off a mirror-like surface. Doing so can cause temporary irritation to
your eyes. Prolonged direct exposure can harm your eyes.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ILLUMIFLOW LASER CAP
The illumiflow Laser Cap is a portable dome-shaped laser device specially designed for
the management of hair loss in both men and women. The laser device consists of 272
650nm wavelength laser diodes, each with 5mW of power, and is recommended to be
worn for 30 minutes, 3 -4 times per week, on alternating days.
The Laser Cap is a non-invasive approach that utilizes the science of laser stimulation to
offer a nonsurgical option in the management of hair loss. It is perfectly suited to both
men and women. The Laser Cap is a practical device allowing you to deliver Low Level
Laser Therapy (LLLT) to your scalp in the comfort of your home, eliminating the need to
attend a clinic for in-office treatment sessions.
The illumiflow Laser Cap is a non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical treatment option. It
is an all-laser technology. NO LED lights are used.
