GETTING STARTED
Installing the AC Adapter
Locate the AC adapter jack on the back of the unit. Insert the AC adapter cable into this jack, and then plug the AC adapter into the wall outlet.
Installing the Batteries for the Portable Use
To provide you with extreme portability, i552 utilizes a battery operation system. Please note that if the sound begins to become distorted or the unit no
longer shows a display, you should insert brand new batteries into the unit.
Follow these steps to install the batteries:
1. First, make sure the connection between the AC adapter and the unit is secure. This is important because during battery replacement it is possible for
all settings to be lost.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the unit and open.
3. Insert 8 “C” batteries, following the correct polarity that matches the drawing inside the battery compartment. For longer battery life, it is suggested to
use alkaline batteries. A combination of new and old or various types of batteries should not be used together.
4. Secure the battery compartment by closing the cover.
YOU CAN HELP TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT!
