Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, take basic safety precautions including:-
1. Children cannot recognize the dangers involved in the incorrect use of electrical
appliances. Therefore never allow children to use household appliances without
supervision.
2. Hair lacquers and fixing sprays contain flammable material. Do not spray while using the
appliance.
3. Do not direct hot air from the appliance towards the eyes or other areas sensitive to heat
such as the face and neck..We recommend wrapping a towel round the neck.
4. Take special care when using the appliance near children or anyone who is insensitive to
heat. Anyone with a reduced sensitivity to heat may not realize when too much heat is
directed towards the skin, and may suffer as a result.
5. Store and use the appliance out of reach of children.
6. Switch the appliance off before putting it down, even if it's “just for a minute”
7. Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
8. Remove any blockage to the heating part of the appliance.
9. After using of the appliance, allow them to cool down which to avoid burning your fingers.
10. Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing away.
11. Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than those described in these instructions.
12. Do not use the appliance within 1m of any other electrical or electronic appliance (e.g. TV,
computer, telephone) as it may cause interference.
13. Do not twist or kink the mains lead, and do not wrap it around the appliance.
14. Do not operate the appliance after it malfunctions or if the mains lead or plug is damaged.
There are no user-serviceable parts.
15. Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the user.

1. Keep the device away from water and moisture such as, bath tubs, shower areas or even
persons taking a bath! Such situations constitute a DANGER TO LIFE! Through electric
shock.
2. Attention: The unit becomes hot during operation.
3. If the appliance is used in the bathroom, remove the mains plug after use as water represents
a hazard . This also applies when the appliance is switched off.
