To use pellets eciently you must take out the grate and unfold .
How to unfold grate for burning pellets
1. Take out grate 2. Unfold grate 3. Fold as shown and insert into stove
4. Insert the unfolded grate and add a small amount of
pellets. Make sure to the ll the grate such that you can
insert re starter or torch into the chimney poron of
the stove. You may use a small piece of a re starter
put on top of small amount of pellets and push the lite
re starter into the chimney poron of the stove. Note:
The chimney poron of the stove create a dra to
help the pellets and re starter to ignite the re.
5. Once the pellets are ignited, add more pellets
gradually so you don’t put the re out. Then add
pellets to the desired level. Typical burn me before
cleaning out stove with ash and bio-char is approxi-
mately 45 minutes. Cauon: Flame may come out of
pellet grates so make sure to not allow body parts
over opening grate open.
6. Do not leave stove unaend because
pellets may fall out of grate.
7. Cool o stove completely before handling
any part of the stove.
1. Clear at least a 6-foot diameter area on
level ground of all combusble materials.
(CAUTION: Do not place stove on combus-
ble surfaces. This stove is for outdoor use
only. Fire and the smoke of re is dangerous.
Be sure to wear re-resistant gloves when
operang. Fire produces toxic fumes so use
in well-venlated areas.)
2. Take out legs and pan holders from
inside of stove and unfold stove as shown.
6. Insert chimney tube with holes
down as shown. Then securely
place pan holders on chimney tube
as shown.
7. Stake the stove to
the ground using the
long nails provided.
8. CAUTION: Do not look down
chimney when stove is burning. Use
re-resistant gloves when using
stove.
4. Rotate lock horizontally, then insert tab
into slot. Rotate tab vercally to lock tab
into posion. Make sure chimney is locked
into posion and will not rotate.

3. Aer unfolding the stove, remove the
chimney tube from the inside of the stove. Chimney tube

9a. How To Start A
re using scks and
twigs: The grate is
folded at as shown for sck&twig mode.
9b. Insert a small amount of small dry twig
and scks into the stove (1/16 in. to 1/4 in.
dia. trigs) You may use re starters such as
the paper or commercial re starters. Be
sure to follow all instrucon for re start-
ers.
9c. Once started, add more scks and
twigs (1/4in. to 3/4in dia fuel). By break-
ing scks in short pieces (1/2 in. to 2 in.
length pieces) the re will burn more e-
ciently. CAUTION: Burning material can fall
out of the stove onto the ground. Do not
leave stove unaended.
10. Place pan on top of pan holders. CAU-
TION: Only use pans that are smaller than
12.5 inches and total weight is no more
than 7 lbs.
11. When done let stove cool completely.
Make sure to exnguish all leover hot
combusbles and dispose of them properly
5. Take wing nut o eye bolt. Remove eye
bolt from the leg. Insert the eye bolt
through the leg and corner of the chimney
as shown. Tighten wing nut on eye bolt as
shown for both legs aached to chimney.
