MP-3000 M Installation Guide
4. Insert the other end of the MOH cord into either
the 8Ωor 600Ωoutput jack located on the back
of the MP-3000 M player until it clicks in place.
Depending upon the required impedance, use
either the 8Ωor 600Ωoutput RCA jack, not both.

3. Insert one end of the MOH cable into the MOH port
located on the phone system. [FIG 3] If you can not locate the
MOH port on your telephone system, please contact your
telephone vendor for location.

2. Locate the included MOH cord (Qty 1)

1. The MP3000 M is preloaded with the
programming software and pre-programmed
with several of the 24 starter messages. If you
would like to make any programming
changes, please refer to the Programming
Guide. Please give the enclosed Certificate
[FIG 2] along with the Programming Guide
to the person who has signed the Certificate
for their
records.

5. Locate the power cord included with your MP-3000 M
package. [ FIG 5]
6. Insert the power cord into the Power jack located on the
back of the MP-3000 M player. [FIG 6] Plug the power
cord into your local power source (this could be a power
strip or outlet).

7. Once the system is installed, you will need to refer to the
included MP-3000 M Programming Guide to program the
on-hold messages.
If you plug the USB drive into the unit without first
programming it, the screen on the unit will read “No
File.”

8. FIG 7 shows what your MP-3000 M
should look like when running correctly.
There is no Power button on the unit. It
automatically turns on when you plug in
the unit with the power cord.
VOLUME knob is used to control the output level
of the stored messages. Volume up is clockwise,
volume down is counter-clockwise.
Speaker button.
Press to hear
messages playing.
Press again to turn
off speaker.
The STATUS indicator is a BLUE
LED that during normal operation will
be solid during playback. If there is a
problem with the drive, it is not
inserted or is empty, the LED will
blink.
