or dealer immediately. Only a shipper may file a damage claim as a carrier for damages which have been
incurred during shipping. Be sure to keep carton boxes and other all packing materials for the carrier’s
inspection. If your packing materials are in good condition, please keep them. If you ever need to return
the unit to INKEL PA or an authorized service center, you should use only the original factory packing.

be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
This exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence
of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instruction in the literature accompanying the
products.

Safety Instruction
1. Read these instructions.
2. Keep these instructions.
3. Heed all warnings.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. Clean only with dry cloth.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third
prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in
any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

MIC1 and CHIME mutes other inputs when in use.

Operation
1. Turn off the switch before plugging in, and place tone controller on the middle and the volume minimized.
2. Check whether speaker and input jack are connected properly.
3. Check the power and put a plug into the outlet.
4. When press a power switch, then POWER LED and PROT LED is illuminated and this device starts operation.
*Note : This apparatus will be operated after three seconds while PROT LED is out by built-in delay circuit to protect
speaker and devices.
5. Adjust the volume with output level indicator.
6. Refer to the details how to operate the chime.
7. This apparatus contains protect circuits and when they are in operation, since amplifier and speaker system are
blocked by output relay, there is no sound from the speaker. The protect circuits are operated when DC offset voltage
is supplied or when amplifier is overheated. Check the connection of SET when protect circuits are in operation.

1. MIC LEVEL CONTROL
It controls MIC volume which comes from MIC 1 to MIC

2. AUX LEVEL CONTROL
It controls the volume which comes from AUX input 1 to

3. TONE CONTROL
It is consisted with 3 tone controllers, HIGH, MID, and
LOW. Adjust the tone properly.
4. MASTER LEVEL CONTROL
This knob provides continuous control of the overall
volume of the amplifier's output signal.
5. SIGNAL INDICATOR
This LED indicates amount of signal which comes out
from speaker.
6. CLIP INDICATOR
This LED indicates the distortion of signal which comes
out from speaker.
Adjust in/output level so that the clip LED is not
illuminated during operation.
7. PROTECTION CIRCUIT INDICATOR
This LED indicates the operation statue of protection
circuit. When it is illuminated, output is blocked.
8. CHIME SWITCH
Pressing this switch activates the one shot chime.
*Note : One-shot Chime: Although press the switch
several times, the chime rings only once.
9. MONITOR SPEAKER SWITCH
This switch is used to listen to the signal with inside
speaker.
10. SPEAKER SELECT SWITCH
With this switch, you can turn on/off each signal comes
from five speaker output terminals or with ALL switch,
you can turn on/off whole system when distribute an
announcement to whole area.
11. POWER SWITCH
If press this switch, then LED is illuminated and power
is supplied.
12. BLANK PANEL
When set our model, IPA-CDR/U (1CD&MP3, TUNER ,
USB) MODULE, change this blank panel to IPA-
CDR/U.

1. MIC INPUT JACK (MIC1~MIC4)
These jacks are used when you want to use MIC 1~4
inputs and it is consisted with electronic balanced for
noise prevention.
2. MIC 1 MUTE CONTROL
By incoming signal on MIC1, this controller blocks all
signals except MIC 1 and CHIME by priority order.
3. AUX 1 ~ 3 INPUT JACK
Connect an external source(CD,TUNER,DECK etc) to
these input.
4. AMP INPUT JACK
By connecting external device’s signal to this input
jack, it can be used to expand amplifiers. Also, it can be
used as patch by connecting effectors between pre-
amplifier output and amplifier input of this device.
5. PRE-AMP OUTPUT JACK
This output provides line level output signal for
connection to an external amplifier.
6. PHANTOM POWER SWITCH
When you want to use condenser MIC, if turn on this
switch, +15V condenser MIC power is supplied on No.2
and 3 of XLR jack. Because this power is supplied to
microphones in parallel, you can connect it to other
dynamic microphones. However, if connect it to other
types of MIC, be sure about plug wiring to do not
unbalanced.
*Note: If turn on this switch when volume controller of
input channel and mater volume controller is not
placed at minimized, impact voltage can be incurred
suddenly to MIC circuit, and it may cause defeats of
speaker.
7. EXTERNAL CHIME SWITCH
Connect the switch to this terminal if you want to use 4-
tone chime remotely.
8. MONITOR ATT. SWITCH
It controls the volume of monitor speaker.
9. SPEAKER OUTPUT
This terminal is used to connect speaker, be careful to
do not overload.
Impedance and output voltage are as follows. Be
noticed that SP 1~5 terminals are controlled by speaker
select-switch on the front panel.

10. AC CONNECTOR AND FUSE HOLDER
Connect the supplied standard AC input cable to this
input. The fuse holder below the input contains the AC
overload protection fuse.
If the fuse has blown out, replace it with a fuse of the
same type and rating. If the fuse continues to blow,
refer servicing to a qualified service technician.
11.ANTENNA TERMINAL (when set IPA-CDR/U)
When set our model, IPA-CDR/U (1CD&MP3,TUNER,
USB) on this device,this terminal connects antenna.

Setting IPA-CDR/U(CD&MP3, TUNER , USB MODULE)
When connect speaker, pull a power cord from the outlet. And then, select a proper terminal depends on your speaker
types and connection methods to connect it to speaker terminals on the rear panel.
Total impedance of speaker terminal must be higher than regulated impedance in any time, and do not use two sorts of
impedance simultaneously.
