5. BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE
VERWENDUNG
Allgemeine Warnhinweise:
Der InLine Bluetooth Flight Audio Adap-
ter leitet die Audio-Signale in höchster
Qualität drahtlos von einem Bord Enter-
tainment System im Flugzeug an Ihren
Bluetooth-fähigen Kopfhörer.
Bestandteile des Liefer-
umfangs können für Klein-
kinder gefährlich sein. Es
besteht Erstickungsgefahr
durch Verschlucken von Kleinteilen!
Nutzer mit Herzschritt-
macher oder implantiertem
Defibrillator werden auf-
grund der verwendeten
Bluetooth-Technologie zur besonderen
Vorsicht aufgerufen. Die erzeugten
Magnetfelder können zu Störungen bei
Herzschrittmachern und implantierten
Defibrillatoren führen.
Vermeiden Sie die übermä-
ßige zu laute Wiedergabe,
dies kann zu permanenten
Gehörschäden führen.
6. NICHT BESTIMMUNGS-
GEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
Als nicht bestimmungsgemäße Ver-
wendung im Sinne einer vorhersehba-
ren Fehlanwendung gilt:
• Bauen Sie den Adapter nicht aus-
einander, lassen Sie Reparaturen nur
von Fachleuten durchführen.
• Setzen Sie den Adapter keiner über-
mäßigen Hitze oder direkter Sonnen-
einstrahlung aus.
• Vermeiden Sie Feuchtigkeit.
• Setzen sie den Adapter keinen hefti-
gen Erschütterungen aus.
7. HINWEIS ZUR FUNK-

Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN-
Funkanwendungen)
Auf Grund des § 55 des Telekommu-
nikationsgesetzes (TKG) werden hier-
mit Frequenzen im Bereich 2400,0 –
2483,5 MHz für die Nutzung durch die
Allgemeinheit in lokalen Netzwerken,
Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN-
Funkanwendungen), zugeteilt.
Mit dieser Allgemeinzuteilung erfolgt
die verpflichtende Umsetzung der Ent-
scheidung der Europäischen Kommis-
sion zur Harmonisierung der Frequenz-
nutzung durch Geräte mit geringer
Reichweite vom 09.11.2006 (2006/771/
EG), zuletzt geändert durch den Durch-
führungsbeschluss der Kommission
vom 08.12.2011 (2011/829/EU), veröf-
fentlicht im Amtsblatt der Europäischen
Union L 329, Seite 10 ff. vom 13.12.2011,
in Deutschland.
Bei geplanter Verwendung des Pro-
dukts außerhalb Deutschlands infor-
mieren Sie sich bitte im Vorfeld über die
rechtlichen Vorschriften des jeweiligen
Landes.
8. ANWENDUNG
Bluetooth Flight Audio Adapter kop-
peln:
Die folgenden Anweisungen helfen Ih-
nen, den InLine® Bluetooth Flight Au-
dio Adapter an ein Bord Entertainment
System anzuschließen und mit Ihrem
Bluetooth-fähigen Kopfhörer zu verbin-
den. Für ein schnelles Pairing halten Sie
das zu verbindende Gerät innerhalb von
1m Abstand zum Adapter.
Schritt 1:
Halten Sie die Multifunktionstaste für
5 Sekunden gedrückt. Die Status-LED
blinkt nun abwechselnd blau und rot.
Schritt 2:
Schalten Sie Ihr Headset ein und ver-
setzen Sie es in den Pairing-Modus
(siehe ggf. Anleitung des entsprechen-
den Geräts).
Schritt 3:
Nach einem kurzen Moment sollte sich
das Headset nun automatisch mit dem
Adapter verbinden. Die Status-LED
blinkt im Abstand von 5 Sekunden blau.
Bei zwei einzeln gesteuerten Kopfhö-
rern verbinden Sie diese nacheinander.
Bei erfolgreicher Kopplung mit beiden
Kopfhörern blinkt die Status-LED im
Abstand von 5 Sekunden lila.
Schritt 4:
Verbinden Sie den Adapter über die
Klinken-Stecker mit dem Bord Enter-
tainment System des Flugzeugs.
Verbinden mit einem 2. Bluetooth
Kopfhörer:
Sie können einen zweiten Kopfhörer
mit dem InLine Bluetooth Flight Adap-
ter verbinden und somit z.B. mit Ihrer
Reisebegleitung gleichzeitig einen Film
anschauen. Zum Verbinden gehen Sie
wie folgt vor:
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der erste
Kopfhörer bereits aktiv mit dem
Bluetooth Flight Adapter verbun-
den ist.

2. Drücken und halten Sie die Multi-
funktionstaste erneut für 5 Sekun-
den, die LED fängt erneut an rot/
blau wechselnd zu blinken und der
Adapter ist nun im Pairing-Modus.
3. Versetzen Sie den 2. Kopfhörer in
den Pairing-Modus. Der 2. Kopf-
hörer wird nun automatisch ver-
bunden und ist einsatzbereit. Die
Wiedergabe erfolgt nun über beide
Hörer gleichzeitig.
Betrieb über USB Audio:
Der InLine Bluetooth Flight Adapter er-
möglicht neben dem Betrieb im Flug-
zeug auch die Wiedergabe über USB-
Audio, d.h. Sie können den Bluetooth
Flight Adapter auch als Audio-Trans-
mitter am Computer zuhause betrei-
ben, um somit z.B. Ihre Lieblingsmusik
im Haus zu verteilen. Verbinden Sie den
Bluetooth Flight Adapter mit dem USB-
Kabel an einer freien USB Typ A Buchse
Ihres Computers, er wird dort automa-
tisch als USB-Audiogerät erkannt. Eine
Treiberinstallation ist nicht nötig. Die
Verbindung zu dem Kopfhörer erfolgt
wie in den Schritten zuvor beschrieben.
Trennen der aktiven Verbindung:
Durch Drücken und Halten der Multi-
funktionstaste für 2 Sekunden trennt
der Adapter die aktive Verbindung und
versetzt sich wieder in den Pairing-Mo-
dus.
Wechsel der Codec Modi:
Nachdem der Adapter mit dem Bord
Entertainment System verbunden wur-
de, drücken Sie die Multifunktionstaste
für einen kurzen Moment. Bei der Ak-
tivierung des AptX-HD-Codec Modus
leuchtet die Status-LED für 2 Sekunden
durchgehend grün, dann zeigt sie die
Aktivität durch grünes Blinken im Ab-
stand von 5 Sekunden an.
Ein weiteres Drücken der Multifunk-
tionstaste versetzt den Adapter dann
in den AptX-LL-Codec Modus, die Sta-
tus-LED blinkt nun im Abstand von 5
Sekunden blau.
Hinweis: AptX-HD kann nur aktiviert
werden, wenn der verbundene Kopfhö-
rer ebenfalls AptX-HD unterstützt.
Standby und Einschalten des Adap-
ters:
Halten Sie die Multifunktionstaste des
Receivers für 5 Sekunden gedrückt,
so wird der Adapter ausgeschaltet. Die
Status-LED leuchtet zur Bestätigung 2
Sekunden lang rot. Ein erneutes Drü-
cken schaltet den Receiver wieder ein
und er ist bereit zur neuen Verbindung.
Ist die Verbindung zum zuletzt verbun-
denen Gerät möglich, so wird diese
automatisch hergestellt.
Reset:
Um den InLine® Bluetooth Flight Audio
AdapteraufWerkseinstellungenzurück-
zusetzen, halten Sie die Multifunktions-
taste nach dem Einschalten für ca. 10
Sekunden gedrückt. Die Status-LED
leuchtet nun für eine Sekunde lila und
wechselt dann in den Pairing-Modus.
Der Adapter verliert nun alle bekannten
Verbindungen zu bereits gekoppelten
Geräten und muss bei Bedarf neu ge-
koppelt werden.
Niedriger Batteriestatus und Auf-
laden:
Bei niedrigem Batteriestatus leuchtet
die Status-LED für 1,5 Sekunden rot
auf. Um den InLine® Bluetooth Flight
Audio Adapter aufzuladen, legen Sie
ihn zurück in das Case oder schließen
Sie ihn über das USB Typ-C Kabel an
das Stromnetz an.
9. TIPPS UND HILFESTELLUNG
Der Adapter koppelt sich nicht mit
Bluetooth-Geräten:
Prüfen Sie, ob das zu verbindende Ge-
rät die in den technischen Daten aufge-
führten Profile unterstützt. Stellen Sie
sicher, dass sich das zu verbindende
Gerät während des Pairing-Vorgangs in
einem Abstand von max. 1m zum Ad-
apter befindet. Überprüfen Sie, ob sich
das zu verbindende Gerät sowie der
Adapter im Pairing-Modus befinden.

Nach erfolgreichem Verbinden wird
kein Ton abgespielt:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Bord En-
tertainment System nicht stumm ge-
schaltet ist.
10. WARTUNG UND
REINIGUNG, SICHERHEITS-
HINWEISE
• Reinigen Sie den Adapter mit einem
trockenen, samtigen Tuch.
• Halten Sie das Gerät trocken, ver-
meiden Sie Wasser und Chemikalien
am Gerät.
• Zu hohe Temperaturen schädigen
den Adapter, vermeiden Sie zudem
direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.
• Nicht auf die Heizung stellen.
• Niemals das Gehäuse des Adapters
öffnen.

5. INTENDED USE
General Warning:
The InLine Bluetooth Flight Audio Ad-
apter routes the audio signals in hig-
hest quality wirelessly from an In Flight
Entertainment System in the aircraft to
your Bluetooth enabled headphones.
Components of the product
could be dangerous for chil-
dren. Risk of suffocation by
absorbing of small parts!
Users with heart pacema-
kers or implanted defibrilla-
tors are cautioned because
of the Bluetooth technology
used. The generated magnetic fields
can lead to disturbances in cardiac
pacemakers and implanted defibrilla-
tors.
Avoid excessive over-loud
playback, which can lead to
permanent hearing damage.
6. IMPROPER USE
Unauthorized use in the sense of a fore-
seeable misuse applies as follows:
• Do not disassemble the transmitter,
repairs need to handle by qualified
service personnel.
• Do not expose the transmitter to
excessive heat or direct sunlight.
• Avoid moisture.
• Do not expose the transmitter to
violent vibrations.

General allocation of frequencies for
use in local area networks, wireless lo-
cal area networks (WLAN applications)

Pursuant to § 55 of the German Tele-
communication Act (Telekommunikati-
onsgesetz-TKG) hereby frequencies are
allocated in the range from 2400.0 to
2483.5 MHz for the use by the general
public in local networks and wireless
local networks.
This general assignment comes with
the mandatory implementation of the
European commission to harmonize
used frequency spectrum by short-ran-
ge devices from November 9th 2006
(2006/771/EG), as last amended by the
implementing decision of commission
on December 8th 2011 (2011/829/EU),
published in the official journal of the
European Union L 329, page 10 et seq.
on December 13th 2011 in Germany.
If you plan to use the product outside
Germany please inform yourself pre-
viously about the legal regulations of
each country.
8. USE
Pairing the Wireless Flight Audio
Adapter:
The following instructions will help you
connect the InLine® Bluetooth Flight
Audio Adapter to an In-Flight Enter-
tainment System and connect it to your
Bluetooth Headphone.
Step 1:
Press and hold the multifunctional but-
ton for 2 seconds. The Status-LED flas-
hes red and blue alternately.
Step 2:
Switch on your headset and enter the
pairing mode.
Step 3:
After a short moment the headset will
be connected automatically to the ad-
apter. The Status-LED flashes blue at
a frequency of 5 seconds. For 2 sepa-
rately controlled headphones, connect

one after the other. When successfully
paired, the Status-LED flashes purple
at a frequency of 5 seconds.
Step 4:
Connect the adapter to the In-Flight
Entertainment System by using the two
3.5mm audio plugs.
Connect with a 2nd Bluetooth head-
phone:
You can connect a second headphone
to the InLine® Bluetooth Flight Adap-
ter and watch a movie with your travel
companion at the same time. Proceed
as follows to connect:
1. Make sure that the first headset is
already actively connected to the
Bluetooth Flight Adapter.
2. Press and hold the multi-function
button again for 5 seconds, the LED
starts flashing red/blue alternately
and the adapter is now in pairing
mode.
3. Put the 2nd headset into pairing
mode. The 2nd headphone is now
automatically connected and ready
for use. Playback now takes place
on both headphones simultaneously.

Operation via USB Audio:
The InLine® Bluetooth Flight Adapter
enables not only operation in the air-
craft but also playback via USB audio,
i.e. you can also use the Bluetooth
Flight Adapter as an audio transmit-
ter for your computer at home, e.g. to
distribute your favourite music in the
house. Connect the Bluetooth Flight
Adapter with the USB cable to a free
USB Type A socket of your computer,
it will be automatically recognized as a
USB audio device. A driver installation
is not necessary. The connection to the
headphones is made as described in
the steps above.
Disconnect the active connection:
By pressing and holding the multifunc-
tional button for 2 seconds, the Adapter
will be disconnected and switch back to
pairing mode.
Changing the codec mode:
After connected to the In-Flight Enter-
tainment System, press the multifunc-
tional button for a short moment. When
the AptX-HD-Codec-Mode is activated,
the Status-LED lights solid green for 2
seconds, then it indicates the activity
by flashing green at a frequency of 5
seconds. Pressing the multifunctional
button again will change the mode to
the AptX-LL-codec mode, the Status-
LED flashes blue at a frequency of 5
seconds.
Standby and switching on the transmitter:
For switching off the adapter, press
and hold the multifunctional button for
5 seconds. The Status-LED lights solid
red for 2 seconds before the adapter
is switched off. Pressing it again turns
the adapter back on and it is ready for a
new connection. If a connection to the
last connected device is possible, this
is established automatically.
Reset:
To reset the InLine® Bluetooth Flight
Audio Adapter to factory setting, hold
the multifunctional button for 10 se-
conds until the Status-LED lights up
solid purple for 1 second. After that
the adapter will be in the pairing mode.
The receiver now loses all known con-
nections to already paired devices and
must be reconnected if necessary.
Low batterie and charging:
When the InLine® Bluetooth Flight Au-
dio Adapter needs to be charged, the
Status-LED will light up solid red for 1,5
seconds. For charging it, put it back
into the charging case or connect it to
the power supply by using the USB Ty-
pe-C cable.
9. TIPS AND TROUBLE-
SHOOTING
The adapter isn’t connecting to your
Bluetooth device:
Check, if the Bluetooth device is sup-
porting the wireless profiles of the ad-
apter. Make sure the adapter and your
device are next to each other or within
1m when pairing. Check, if both devices
have switched on the pairing mode.
You cannot hear any sound after
pairing:
Make sure the In-Flight Entertainment
System isn’t muted.
10. MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING, SAFETY INST-
RUCTIONS
• Clean the receiver with a dry, velvety
cloth.
• Keep the unit dry, avoid water and
chemicals on the unit
• Too high temperatures can damage
the receiver, avoid direct exposure
to the sun
• Do not place on the heater
