The TA51W2 transmitter is equipped with
three DMX inputs :
- one OPEN DMX on the USB input
- one on the XLR 3 or 5 points DMX IN
connector
- an ARTNET input on 2.0.0.1., universe 0
on the access point.
The two inputs cannot coexist at the
simultaneously.

Parameters
Provides access to the transmitter’s settings.

Assignment
Allows you to assign your receivers on the DMX
universe of your choice.
Wifi
Provides access to the settings of the access
point (except V Lite)

HF Scan
Starts an HF Scan. This button is only available
in the Auto Mode.
Universe
Settings of the DMX HF universe sent by the transmitter.
Initially the receivers follow Universe 1 ; if you change this setting,
make sure you assign your receivers again with the same universe.
REMINDER : the receiver’s addressing is done as the receiver is
switched on.
Frequency
For the settings of the frequency channel, we advise you to stay on
Auto mode (the least crowded channel).

2.USING YOUR TRANSMITTER
Each HF receiver is « assigned » to a DMX universe ; UNIVERSE 1 is the default setting.
When switched on, the receiver ( KUB, Hariz, ... ) continuously scans the frequencies, until
the assigned universe is detected.
When delivered, the products are set to function on UNIVERSE 1 ( 32 in all ) and the
transmitter set to transmit on frequency 1 ( 22 in all ).
If you wish to change these settings :

Protocol
Since 2015, we’ve been using the version B of the protocol. If you
have receivers < 2015, please refer to version A.
1 / PARAMETERS

Universe
Allows you to chose the number of the DMX universe which is
assigned to the receivers, from 1 to 24.
Address
Allows you to send the DMX address to the receivers (Hariz, KUB,
Pak, etc). This setting can be adjusted from 001 to 511.
DMX1 Value
Allows you to know the values sent to the DMX input.
HF analysers
Allows you to see how busy the 2,4Ghz frequencies are.
Maj OnAir
Allows you to update the DMX receivers to « wireless ».

Once the address number is provided, switch the concerned receiver(s) on. Repeat the
operation for each DMX address required for your show.
WARNING ! The assignment is taken into account as you switch on the receiver. If the
receivers are already switched on, the assignment is not taken into account.
COMMENTS
- During the assignment, the DMX is not active.
- The modification of the assignment setting does not modify the DMX transmission protocol
(Settings menu).

From 1 to 21 (left to right).
Colour code
Green : no signal detected
Orange : signal detected but little traffic or power.
Red : Channel to avoid as strong signal or with dense traffic.
ElectArt
Choice of the wifi network number.
Wifi password
Predefined password : 01234567.
This setting can be modified.

Connected to the TA51W2, LAPPS allows you to
drive one or several lamps form a distance. Navigate
through a panel of colours, set your intensity and
chose your effects.
LAPPS WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE TA51W2 TRANSMITTER.

2. EXPERT Mode
Settings Page
The Settings page gives access to an interactive
console allowing you to vary the colours of the
selected lamps, in order to create your own
composition.
This page also includes a general intensity setting and
6 pre-programmed effects : 2 Pulse, 2 Rainbow, 1
Chase and 1 Pixel.

Expert Mode : available effects
In the EXPERT mode, the «Pulse» and «Rainbow» effects are available
in synchronous (lamps work together) or asynchronous.
Within this mode, two pages are available.
