avoided.
1–USER GUIDE
Make sure nobody and/or nothing can be stuck in the moving mechanism before starting a
complete cycle (up and down movement).
Storage conditions
The COCOON chair must be stored according to the upright mention indicated on the
package, in a dry and temperate aera.
Use conditions.
You must not use this chair before:
- being trained to its operation by the reseller or their installer,
- reading and understanding this guide.
Be sure to leave enough distance (around 60 cm / 24 inches) behind the seat to avoid any
direct contact with the wall when in ‘relax’ position.
Always check nothing can jam or be hidden under the mechanism before each use. The
seat’s mechanism can cause serious injuries. So be very careful in case children or pets are
nearby.
Ensure the seat is placed on a plane non-sloping surface so that the chair is stable on the
ground and can’t slip.
Do not put the seat near any source of significant heat.
Plug the power cable on a mains source compliant to the standards in force and to the
220/230V power unit voltage.
The seat shall not be used if there is any risk of stormy weather. The seat should not be
moved while used.
We recommend a dry shot cycle to get used to the seat’s operation.
Use by children must be forbidden. The leg-rest is not an additional seat. Always unplug
the power cord before moving the seat.
If the quilt gets compact, untighten the Velcro straps and tap it so it can take back its original volume.
To guarantee safety and product compliance, only original parts and accessories distributed by
INNOV’SA must be used.

3
Any modification of the seat is forbidden and will cause a breach of warranty. Any misuse of
the seat will also cause a breach of warranty. The product shall not be put in full light in order
not to cause the colour fading of the covers.
The two rear casters should not be removed.
Safe practice
The COCOON seat shall not be used by disoriented people. In case of dependent
users, help and watchfulness from a third party are compulsory.
Weight limits
This lifter seat shall not be used by people weighing more than 160 kg / 352 lbs
(COCOON 1 or 2 motors) and 220 kg / 485 lbs (COCOON XXL).
