USB Turntable Encoder

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
AUDIO PRODUCTS-READ THOROUGHLY
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed including:
1. Read Instructions-All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the product
is operated.
2. Retain Instructions-The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future
reference.
3. Heed Instructions-All warnings on the product and in the operating instructions should be
adhered to.
4. Follow Instructions-All operating and user instructions should be followed.
5.Cleaning-Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or
aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
6. Attachments-Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer as they
may cause hazards.
7. Water and Moisture-Do not use this product near water-for example, near a bath tub, wash
bowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, etc.
8. Accessories-Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The
product may fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult, and serious damage to the product. Use
only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer, or sold with
the product. Any mounting of the product should follow the manufacturer's instructions, and
should use a mounting accessory recommended by the manufacturer.
9. Transporting-A product and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops,
excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
10. Ventilation-Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable
operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or
covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or
similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or
rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer's instructions have been adhered to.
11. Power Sources-This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated
on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your
product dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power, or
other sources, refer to the operating instructions.
12. Main Plug - The main plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily accessible.
13. Power-Cord Protection- Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be
walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at
plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the product.

14. Lightning-For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left
unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the
antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line
surges.
15. Power Lines-An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead
power lines or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or
circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from
touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.
16. Overloading-Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience
receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
17. Object and Liquid Entry-Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings
as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric
shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no object filled with liquids such
as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
18. Servicing-Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may
expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service
personnel.
19. Damage Requiring Service -Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to
qualified service personnel under the following conditions:
a. If the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.
b. If liquid has spilled, or objects have fallen into the product.
c. If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
d. If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions.
Adjust
only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions, as an improper
adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive
work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation.
e. If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way, and the product exhibits a
distinct change in performance-this indicates a need for service.
20. Replacement Parts-When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has
used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the
original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
21. Safety Check-Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service
technician to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.
22. Wall or Ceiling Mounting-The product should be mounted to a wall or ceiling only as
recommended by the manufacturer.
23. Heat-The product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves or other products(including amplifiers)that produce heat.

Safety Information
CAUTION
1. In order to shut off the power of this product completely, unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet. be sure to unplug the unit if you do not intend to use it for an extended period of time, such
as a vacation.
2. Use of controls, adjustments and performance of procedures compare with those specified
herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
3. If this product develops trouble, contact qualified service center, and do not use the product in
defective states.
Safety Precautions

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.

To reduce the risk of electric shock: do not remove cover(or back).
No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to
alert user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that
may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert user to the
presence of important operating and maintenance(servicing)instructions in the literature
accompanying the appliance.
(See markings on the back of the unit.)
CAUTION:
To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot, fully insert.

Before Use
1. Choose unit installation location carefully. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or close to a
source of heat. Also avoid locations subject to vibrations and excessive dust, cold or moisture.
Keep away from sources that hum, such as transformers or motors.
2. Do not open the cabinet as this might result in damage to the circuitry or electrical shock, if a
foreign object should get into the set, contact your dealer.
3. When removing the power plug from the wall outlet, always pull directly on the plug, never pull
the cord.
4. Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the unit.
Use a clean, dry cloth.
5. In order to shut off the power to this product completely, unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet. Be sure to unplug the unit if you do not intend to use it for an extended period of time, such
as a vacation.
6. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

Preparation for Use to the main outlet
1. Remove all the packaging from the unit.
2. Connect the AC power cord to the main outlet.
3. The silver screw protects the phonograph chassis during transportation. If the speed of your
phonograph seems slow or you hear a rubbing sound, adjust the screw with a coin to correct the
balance of the turntable.
How To Replace The Stylus
Removing old stylus
1. Set a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and
push down to the direction "A".
2. Remove the stylus by pulling it down and
forward.
Installing a new stylus
1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other
edge by pressing in the direction "B".
2. Push up in the direction "C" until it locks at
the tip.

Listening to a Record
1. Connect the AC power cord to the main outlet,
the standard supply is AC 120V ~ 60Hz.
2. Plug the other ends of the RCA Cable into the
auxiliary input (Aux) on your TV, home
entertainment receiver or other music system, be
sure that the red RCA Cable is inserted into the
red jack and the white RCA Cable is inserted
into the white jack.
3. Switch on the unit using the POWER switch
on the front.
4. Press FUN button to select PHONO mode.
5. Put a record onto the turntable, when playing
the 45rpm record, remember to use the adapter
which packed in the polybag along with the
manual.
6. Please select the correct speed according to
the record album you want to play (33 1/3, 45 or
78 rpm).
7. Remove the tone arm-rest holder, lift the lift
handle and move the tone arm gently to the
desired position over the record, lower the lift
handle slowly, then the record will begin to play.
8. Turn on the unit which you connected with
this USB turntable by using the On/off Knob or
Volume knob, adjust the volume knob to control
the volume of the music.
9. Press STOP button to stop playing.
10. Press the PLAY button to continue playing.
11. When the music playing ends, the tone arm
will move back to the arm-rest automatically and
the indicator light will light up. Or you can
also press the eject button during the playing
time and the tone arm will lift up from the record
at that instance and then return back to the
arm-rest.
PLEASE NOTE: It will be approximately 20
seconds delay before the tone arm returns to the
tone arm rest when playing at 78 RPM speed.
12. Remember to put the white plastic needle
guard to protect the stylus and unplug the unit if
the unit is not in use for extended periods of
time.

Delete / Play the USB Host
1. Press the FUNC button to select the USB function.
2. Insert a external audio source (ie. MP3 player) into the USB slot.
3. Press the SKIP+ or SKIP- button to select a track or press the
SKIP+ or SKIP- button till the desired folder is reached. Then press
and hold STOP/DELETE button for once, "DEL ONE" will show on
the display, press this button again to delete current track.
Press SKIP+( ) or SKIP- ( ) button to select DEL ONE, DEL DIR, DEL ALL and
FORMAT, press STOP/DELETE button again to perform order in current mode.
4. Press PLAY ( ) button to play the external audio source.
5. Press the SKIP+ ( )button once to go the start of the next track.
6. Press the SKIP-( ) button once to go back to the start of the current track. Press the FR
button twice to go back to the start of the previous track.
7. Pausing the playing.
8. Stopping the playing.

Record to USB Host
1. Insert a external audio source (ie. MP3
Player) into the USB slot.
2. Press the FUNC button to select the
PHONO function, put a record onto the
Turntable, and press PLAY/PAUSE
button to play the record.
3. Shortly press the REC/REC-Q button to record tracks into USB.
4. Press and hold REC/REC-Q button to select REC-Q function, press SKIP+ ( ) and
SKIP- ( ) button to select the REC-Q, such as 96KB, 128KB or 256KB, and then press
REC/REC-Q button to record.
5. Press REC/REC-Q button again to stop record in recording mode.
6. In recording mode, press STOP ( ) button for once, the
"CANCEL" will flash on the display. Press this button for twice to
cancel record in recording mode.
7. During encoding, press SKIP+ ( )button to add recording track quantity.

When "REC ERR" appears, it already changes to display "PLEASE FORMAT" and automatically
cancels the recording when seeing "REC ERR". Press and hold STOP/DELETE button, and then
press SKIP+ ( ) or SKIP- ( ) button to select DEL ONE, DEL DIR, DEL ALL and
FORMAT. When select "FORMAT", "FORMAT" will flash on the display, press the
STOP/DELETE button again to formatting all files.
Note:
1. Recording will be complete only when the entire song has been encoded. If the encoding
process is terminated intermediately, there will be no track recorded nor saved to the USB
memory device.
2. No song title will be recorded during encoding mode.
3. Some USB drives may not be supported for recording because they are not formatted in a
supported parameter. In such cases, backup the content in the drive, and then use the FORMAT
function as described in the previous section and then try recording again. Most of the
incompatibility problems of recording can be resolved by following these steps.
4. The unit can record songs directly to memory media via the USB port on the front, so neither a
USB host nor additional software is needed. Also, there is no need to set up a USB software
driver before encoding.
5. Unit cannot play music files directly from your PC. MP3's must be stored on a portable
memory device, such as a SD/MMC CARD, and inserted into the unit's USB or SD/MMC SLOT.
MMC/SD Card
Insert SD card correctly
Misplug the SD card
NOTE:
* If the card becomes dirty, wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
* Discs should be returned to their cases after use to avoid dust and scratches that could cause the
laser pick up skip.
* Do not expose the card to direct sunlight or high humidity and temperature for extended periods.

Delete / Play the MMC/SD Card
1. Press the FUNC button to select the CARD function.
2. Insert a MMC/SD card into the MMC/SD slot.
3. Press the SKIP+ or SKIP- button to select a track or press the SKIP+ or
SKIP- button till the desired folder is reached. Then press and hold
STOP/DELETE button for once, "DEL ONE" will show on the display,
press this button again to delete current track.
Press SKIP+( ) or SKIP- ( ) button to select DEL ONE, DEL DIR, DEL ALL and
FORMAT, press STOP/DELETE button again to perform order in current mode.
4. Press PLAY ( ) button to play the external audio source.
5. Press the SKIP+ ( ) button once to go the start of the
next track.
6. Press the SKIP-( ) button once to go back to the start of
the current track. Press the FR button twice to go back to the
start of the previous track.
7. Pausing the playing.
8. Stopping the playing.

Record to MMC/SD Card
1. Insert a MMC/SD card into the MMC/SD slot.
2. Press the FUNC button to select the
PHONO function, put a record onto the
Turntable, and press PLAY/PAUSE
button to play the record.
3. Shortly press the REC/REC-Q button to record tracks into MMC/SD
Card.
4. Press and hold REC/REC-Q button to select REC-Q function, press SKIP+ ( ) and SKIP-
( ) button to select the REC-Q, such as COPY ONE, COPY DIR, COPY ALL, and then
press REC/REC-Q button to record.
5. Press REC/REC-Q button again to stop record in recording mode.
6. In recording mode, press STOP ( ) button for once, the "CANCEL" will flash on the
display. Press this button for twice to cancel record in recording mode.
7. During encoding, press SKIP+ ( )button to add recording track quantity.
After records continually until the memory fully, it may change to PHONO mode.
NOTE: When insert USB and CARD at the same time, USB have priority to record. Take out
the USB to record CARD.

USB and MMC/SD Card (Record with each other)
Record to MMC/SD Card from USB
1. Insert USB and CARD at the same time.
2. Press the FUNC button to select the USB function.
3. Shortly press the REC/REC-Q button to record tracks into MMC/SD Card.
4. Press the SKIP+ or SKIP- button to select a track or press the SKIP+ or SKIP- button till the
desired folder is reached. Then press and hold REC/REC-Q button to select REC-Q function,
press SKIP+ ( ) and SKIP- ( ) button to select the REC-Q, such as COPY ONE,
COPY DIR, COPY ALL, and then press REC/REC-Q button to record tracks into the MMC/SD
card.
Record to USB from MMC/SD
1. Insert USB and CARD at the same time.
2. Press the FUNC button to select the CARD function.
3. Shortly press the REC/REC-Q button to record tracks into USB.
4. Press the SKIP+ or SKIP- button to select a track or press the SKIP+ or SKIP- button till the
desired folder is reached. Then press and hold REC/REC-Q button to select REC-Q function,
press SKIP+ ( ) and SKIP- ( ) button to select the REC-Q, such as COPY ONE,
COPY DIR, COPY ALL, and then press REC/REC-Q button to record tracks into the USB.

Troubleshooting Guide
In case of trouble with the unit, please look through this chart and see if you can solve the
problem by yourself before calling your dealer

90 Days Labor, One Year Parts
Innovative Technology Electronics Corp. (IT) warrants the product to be free from “Defects” in materials under normal
use for a period of “One Year” from the date of the original purchase. The Warranty is “Not” transferable. IT agrees,
within the initial “90 Day” period, to repair the product if it is determined to be defective at “No Charge”. It is further
agreed that IT will cover the cost to repair or replace damaged “Parts” only for a total period of “One Year” from the
date of the original purchase. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, antennas, AC cords, cabinets,
headbands, ear-pads, or damage due to line power surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings, misuse,
mishandling, accident, acts of God or attempted repair by an unauthorized service agent.

stamped envelope to the address below. The original purchaser MUST present a sales receipt / proof of purchase

original packaging or reasonable substitute to prevent damage. You “Must” include your full name, shipping address
and telephone number and Merchandise Return Authorization (MRA) number for our reference. No return will be
shipped back to a PO Box. Please include your check or money order in the amount of $12.00, payable to Innovative
Technology Electronics Corp., to cover handling and return shipping charges. IT will not be responsible for delays or
