XFF 1RS and XFF 2RS
1. Field Connector assembly procedure
This assembling procedure applies to 2 × 3 mm Drop fiber optic cables.
1. Remove the Drop cable's support cable.
2. Insert the screw cap of the connector into the cable before proceeding with the next steps.
3. Remove 5 cm of the Drop cable jacket.
5. Check the integrity of the optical fiber, move the fiber with your fingertips to all sides respecting
the maximum curvature of 60°.
6. Clean the optical fiber with a tissue dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
7. To perform the fiber cleave, insert the cable into the template.
8. Use the cleaver to cut the optical fiber

9. Follow the dimensions indicated for assembly.

10. Insert the cable into the connector as far as it will
go, allowing the fiber to bend slightly. Keep this
elevation for the connector´s assembly.

11. Lock the cable to the connector with the
screw cap.

12. Lock the fiber to the connector. Slide the lock
to the side indicated by the arrow.

13. Insert the connector cap.

4. Insert the cable into the template and align the cap with the markings indicated. Remove the
primary fiber coating.

2. Disassembly steps
1. Insert the protector into the connector, place
it on a flat surface and press the connector cap
down.

2. Unhook the fiber from the connector. Slide the latch
to the side indicated by the arrow.

3. Remove the screw cap from the connector.

4. Warranty Terms
1. All parts, pieces, and components of the product are warranted against any manufacturing defects, which they may eventually present, for a period of one (1) year from the date of
purchase - 90 (ninety) days of legal warranty and 9 (nine) months of contractual warranty. This contractual warranty includes the express exchange of products. The warranty does
not include defects caused by improper use or external agents.
After its useful lifespan, the product must be delivered to an Intelbras authorized service center or directly disposed of in an environmentally appropriate manner, avoiding
environmental and health impacts. If you prefer, the battery as well as other Intelbras brand electronics no longer in use can be disposed of at any Green Eletron collection
point (an electro-electronic waste management company with which we are associated). If you have any questions about the reverse logistics process, please contact us by
