Although your HDMS-0808 is neither complicate nor ifficult to operate, we recommen you take a few
minutes to rea this brief manual an familiarize yourself with the important information regar ing pro uct
features, setup an operation.
As with most electronic evices, we strongly recommen you to retain the original packaging. In the unlikely
event the pro uct must be returne for servicing, the original packaging (or reasonable equivalent) is require .

Never place this pro uct in an environment which coul alter its performance or re uce its service life. Such
environments usually inclu e high levels of heat, ust, moisture, an vibration.

It uses the irect switch controlling metho for easy controls, an it is esigne that controlle content is
isplaye on the front isplay, so you can see it without any ifficulty.
Because it has the RS-232C function, it can be controlle in PC, etc., an it can control two of these evices
connecte in parallel in a same time.

Front Panel
1. DISPLAY WINDOW
Displays the vi eo input channel status which is output to each vi eo/au io output terminal.
“1”~”8” shows each channel, an if “0” is isplaye , nothing will be output.
2. INPUT/OUTPUT SELECT BUTTON
- Output : select the channel you want to output. Push this button, an then isplay win ow of correspon ing
channel will blink. If the input channel to be output is selecte while blinking, isplay win ow will
change to the correspon ing input channel an blinking will stop.
After start blinking, selection will be cancelle if there is no input for about 10 secon s.
- Input : select the input channel to be output to each output terminal.
3. ALL/OFF BUTTON
- ALL : select all output channels. If push this button, isplay win ows of all channels will blink. After start
blinking, selection will be cancelle if there is no input for about 10 secon s. ALL buttons are use
when you want to output one channel in all outputs or isconnect all outputs.
- OFF : it is use when isconnect the output channel. After selecting the OUTPUT SELECT button, push OFF
button, an then isplay win ow shows “0” an nothing will be output.
4. MODE SELECT BUTTON
Sets up the mo e status of No. 2 an 3 SELECT SWITCH.
- A/V : it sets up No. 2 an 3 SELECT button mo e status to simultaneous control mo e of Vi eo an Au io.
- Vi eo : it sets up No. 2 an 3 SELECT button mo e status to Vi eo Control Mo e.
- Au io : it sets up No. 2 an 3 SELECT button mo e status to Au io Control Mo e.
. LOCK BUTTON
It is the button to prevent the human error. After all channel settings are complete , click this button for 5
times, an then all buttons on the front will not work while LED of buttons will be isplaye .
To unlock, push it for 5 times again, an then LED will be OFF. Lock function will not be cleare even after
turning off the power an turning it on again.

to PC.

How to use
How to use
1. Connect video device
Vi eo input an output to be connecte to this evice shoul be connecte to RCA JACK locate at the
rear si e of matrix switch by using component cable.
※ CAUTION : when connecting to other input/output evice with component cable, component stan ar
or er (Y, Pb, Pr) shoul be matche .
2. Connect audio device
Au io input an output to be connecte to this evice shoul be connecte to RCA JACK locate at the
rear si e of matrix switch by using RCA TYPE CABLE.
At this time, L an R of RCA JACK locate at the rear si e of matrix switch shoul be matche .

How to connect
How to connect
- Way to turn on the power
1. Connect the DC a aptor in the matrix switcher package box to the DC input terminal at the rear of
matrix switcher.
Connect DC jack to DC 12V/3A input an turn on the power switch on the front si e of matrix switcher.
2. If they are connecte correctly, green light on the power switch button will be on.
- Way to operate the control switch on the front
1. Select output
Select output by pushing output button No. 1~8 on the front. For example, if No.1 output is selecte ,
push output No. 1 on the front. At this time, No.1 isplay win ow at the left si e of the front will blink
for 10 secon s to stan by for the input. With same metho , user can select anything among No. 1~8 in
the output si e. This button is connecte to the output terminal on the back.
2. Select input
Select input by pushing input button No. 1~8 on the front. For example, if No.1 input is selecte to the
output si e, push No.1 output first, an then select the input No.1 when isplay win ow No.1 on the left
blinks.
Blinking of No.1 on isplay win ow stops an then INPUT No.1 is selecte .
With same metho , user can select anything among No. 1~8 in the input si e. This button is connecte
to the input terminal on the back.
3. Select vi eo
As same metho s in above 1, Select output an 2. Select input, user can control vi eo signal separately
by pushing the vi eo button on the front. When vi eo button on the front is pushe , green light on the
vi eo button will be on.
4. Select au io
As same metho s in above 1, Select output an 2. Select input, user can control au io signal separately
by pushing the au io button on the front. When au io button on the front is pushe , green light on the
au io button will be on.

5. Select vi eo/au io
Both vi eo an au io signals can be controlle by pushing A/V button on the front. When A/v button
on the front is pushe , green light on the A/V button will be on.
6. When controlling all output si e no. 1~8
Each output of no. 1~8 can be controlle simultaneously by pushing ALL button on the front. For
example, when output si e no. 1~8 isplays to the input no. 1, first, push ALL button. Display win ows
no. 1~8 on the left si e of the front will blink for about 10 secon s. At this time, select input si e no. 1.
An then Display win ow will stop blinking an isplay win ow no. 1~8 will all change to no. 1.
7. When turning off each output si e
This evice can select each output to turn it off an turn off all outputs. For example, when turning off
output si e no.1, push output no.1 button, an when isplay win ow on front-left will blink, push OFF
button on the front, an then output no.1 will be off. Also, push ALL buttons on the front, an when
isplay win ow on front-left will blink, push OFF button to turn off all outputs.
8. How to LOCK
To prevent the human error, this evice has the function which locks all buttons on the front. If LOCK
button on the front is pushe for 5 times, green light on the LOCK button will be on an then functions of
this evice will be LOCK. If user wants to unlock the LOCK setup, push LOCK button for 5 times, an
then green light will be OFF an function will be unlocke .
- Way to use the control terminal on the rear side.
1. How to operate in parallel by connecting two evices. (MASTER/SLAVE)
This evice can o same operation in other evice connecte with IN/OUT SELECT JACK when
controlling front buttons by connecting with external connection JACK.
First, create the cable which can connect IN/OUT select terminals at rear si e of the evice by suing 15P
D-SUB JACK among accessories in the box. (Refer to picture) After connecting two evices by using the
cable, check whether SLAVE is operate as same as MASTER when pushing the control button on the
front of MASTER.

2. How to connect with PC
This evice can be controlle on the PC by using the control program. (RS-232 type)
First, by using 9P D-SUB JACK in the box, makes the cable (Male-Female). With the cable, execute the
control program on the PC. Check whether evice oes same operations with the operation explanation
of icon in the evice when clicking the icon on the PC with mouse.

How to setup MASTER-SLAVE
How to setup MASTER-SLAVE
Basically, setup of the evice is MASTER mo e.
If you want to change to SLAVE mo e, own the no. 1 DIP switch in the evice.
How to connect a DC adapter to the device
How to connect a DC adapter to the device
HDMS-0808 is basically DC power evice, but for your convenience, DC a aptor can be installe in the
evice.
Refer to following pictures for the installation metho .
1. Prepare the DC a aptor provi e with the evice.
(A aptor purchase separately may not work with the evice.
2. Open the case an install the a aptor to bracket.
※CAUTION : please contact a technician for the installation explaine as below.

3. Remove the AC INPUT cover on the rear si e of the
evice.
4. Install the remove AC INPUT cover to a aptor
bracket to fix the a aptor.
5. Connect DC JACK to DC IN in the evice.
Arrange the cables with cable tie, etc.
