Unpacking and Installation
Although it is neither complicated to install nor difficult to operate your
set, a few minutes of your time is required to read this manual for a
properly wired installation and becoming familiar with its many
features and how to use them. Please take a great care in unpacking
your set and do not discard the carton and other packing materials.
They may be needed when moving your set and are required if it
ever becomes necessary to return your set for service.
Never place the unit near radiators, in front of heating vents, in
excessively humid or dusty location to avoid early damage and for
your years of quality use. Connect your complementary components
as illustrated in the following page.

Definition
This camera is a high efficiency and performance surveillance
camera and VCD-741VI is high-class camera adapting 410000
pixels SONY CCD. And DSS (Digital Slow Shutter) is adopted
for accumulating video signal in low illumination.
The minimum luminance is 0.005 Lux.

1.DC JACK
This jack is an input of DC Power Source (DC 12V).

This jack is an output of Video Signal.

3.DC IRIS LENS
This lens is DC IRIS LENS as one of AUTO IRIS LENS.
This Varifocal lens varies 2.6mm to 6mm.

4.TOP BASE
This base is very graceful and unique dome cover. If TOP
BASE rotates, the lens of internal circuit is also rotated. So
it’s very useful to install.

5.BOTTOM BASE
This BOTTOM BASE is very simple design and well matched
with TOP BASE.

6.SWITCH BUTTON
This switch control ON/OFF of several functions.

7.DC IRIS LENS VOLUME
This Volume controls the brightness of DC IRIS LENS. In
case of rotating the volume in left, the brightness of LENS will
be darken. And if the rotating is right, the brightness of DC
IRIS LENS will be lighted up.

8.MANUAL WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTING BUTTON
This button is for adjusting RED or BLUE of WHITE
BALANCE, When Manual white balance is selected.

1.ELC(ELECTRIC LEVEL CONTROL) Function
According to the brightness of Video Signal, CCD control the
time of light accumulation. So the brightness will be adjusted
automatically.
Please use this function in case of installing MANUAL LENS.

2.BLC(BACK LIGHT COMPENSATION) Function
If the switch is ON, BLC Function will be operated.

3.FLICKERLESS
When this unit photographs the fluorescence lamp or the
lamp using ac power source, the blinking of video signal
might be happened. Like this phenomenon is FLICKER.
This function prevents the flicker phenomenon.

4.AGC (AUTO GAIN CONTROL) Function
If the switch is ON, AGC Function will be operated.
*When AGC is off, DSS won’t operated.

5.AW/MW
This switch is selecting AUTO or MANUAL of WHITE
BALANCE. If AUTO is selected, White Balance is auto-
matically tracing the white point. And In opposite case, White
Balance is moving toward RED or BLUE according to
pushing tact switch.

6.DSS (DIGITAL SLOW SHUTTER) Function
If this switch is ON, the speed of shutter will be varied from 2
sec to 1/100000 sec. If OFF, the speed will be varied from
1/60 sec to 1/100000 sec.

7.DN (Day & Night)
If this function is ON, the image automatically changes to BW
mode in low illumination. So the image of video signal may
display more efficiency in low illumination environment.

8.RED Button
When Manual White Balance is selected, white point is
moving toward RED in case of pushing this button.

9.BLUE Button
When Manual White Balance is selected, white point is
moving toward BLUE in case of pushing this button.
