Troubleshooting Guide

The purpose of this guide is to help you in the use of your Wireless Peripherals, and to
assist you ith a number of common problems associated.

Changing the ID
A number of users have had issues with ID conflicts, where their keyboard/mouse/remote may be
controlling the computer in the adjacent room or Vice Versa. Each Wireless Set has 64 Unique
ID’s so there should be more than enough ID’s for several users to use their wireless sets in close
proximity if configured properly.
1. With the USB Receiver Plugged in and all peripherals within 30 ft of the receiver,
powered and ready for use.
2. With the PowerPoint Remote in hand, While holding the “Esc Button”, Simultaneously
Press down on the “Blank Screen Button”
3. Soon 2 LED’s should begin to flash

4. Once the LED’s are flashing, Release Both Buttons and wait for both LED’s to go off
5. Now, While Plugged into your computer, From the USB Receiver , Press Down on the
“Change ID Button” and release it.
6. Now within 20 Seconds Press a Button on any of the Peripherals (IE, Click the Mouse,
Press a Key on the Keyboard, Press a Button on the Remote), Test this by verifying the
mouse/keyboard/remote are responding to your commands.
NOTE: If an ID conflict still exists, it may be necessary to repeat these steps

Keyboard / Mouse / Remote Not Responding (One Device or All)
You may at one point or another find that one or all of the Devices aren’t responding to
commands. This Process will help your USB Receiver quickly reacquire the Non-Responsive
input Device/Devices.
1. With the Non-Responsive Device within 30Ft of the USB Receiver
2. While Plugged in to your computer, From the USB Receiver Press Down on the “ID
Change Button” and release it.
3. Now Press a Button on the “Non-Responsive Device” (IE, Click the Mouse, Press a
Key on the Keyboard, Press a Button on the Remote) Test this by Verifying that the
Non-Responsive Input Device is now responding to your commands. Repeat these
steps as necessary for each Non-Responsive Device.
Note: If you are still having issues
•Unplug the “USB Receiver” from the computer for 30 Seconds, then plug it
back in and ait for indo s to recognize it”
•Verify the “USB Receiver” is firmly seated in the USB port or try seating it
in another port
•Verify that the desired device is ithin a 30ft Radius of the USB Receiver
•Verify that the device has good batteries and they are properly inserted.
•It is not recommended to use this Device ith a USB Hub
