• NEVER PLACE AN INFANT TO SLEEP ON AIR MATTRESSES.

• Never introduce any flammable substance into the inflatable air bed, SUCH AS AEROSOL TIRE

REPAIR PRODUCTS, as it may ignite or explode.

• This is not a toy. Children must not be left unattended when using the air bed.

• Keep the storage bag (if included) away from babies and children. The storage bag is not a toy. When

not in use, fold the bag and put it away out of the reach of children.

• Do not walk, stand on or jump on or use the air bed as a trampoline.

• Only for domestic use. Only for indoor use. Do not use on or near water. This is not a raft.

• Do not set up bed near stairs, doors, sharp edges or breakable objects. Provide adequate space

between bed and objects to avoid entrapment.

• Make sure the area is flat, smooth, even and free of sharp objects that could puncture the bed.

• Keep pets away from the air bed. Pets may puncture the surface of the bed.

• Avoid sleeping on the edge of the air bed. Edges produce less support than the middle of the bed.

• Do not operate air pump for more than 5 minutes at a time. Let pump cool at least 15 minutes

between use.

• Unplug electrical power cord when not in use.

• Do not obstruct the air passage opening or insert any objects into the air passage opening.

• If the AC supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or

similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

•

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to rain. Store indoors.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

PARTS REFERENCE

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

General

• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit

in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the

plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not

change the plug in any way.

• Air beds are designed for temporary use and are NOT designed to be a replacement for

a traditional mattress.

• Make sure the area is flat, level, clean and free from sharp objects, and within reach of

an electrical outlet.

• To prevent puncture or damage to the air bed, never drag the air bed across the floor. Lift

the inflated air bed when moving or changing location.

• No air pump maintenance is required. Pump is removable.

• For cleaning use only clean cloth with mild soapy solution. Do not use any chemicals.

• In case of repairs, use only common PVC repair glue and patches. For flocked surfaces:

rub away the flocking material with an eraser first before applying the glue and/or patch.

3. Turn the control dial fully clockwise until it stops. The pump turns on automatically to

inflate the air bed. See Fig (3).

4. When the air bed is fully inflated, turn the control dial back (counterclockwise) to the

center position which closes the valve and turns the pump off. See Fig (4).

NOTE: Turning the control dial either direction while the pump is unplugged will let air

escape from the air bed. See step #5 for firmness adjustment instructions.

Never disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet while the pump is running. Rotate

control dial to the closed / pump off position before disconnecting the power cord.

5. If the air bed feels too firm, release some air by simply turning the control dial gradually

counterclockwise until air begins to escape from the air passage. When the desired

firmness is achieved, turn the control dial back to the center closed / pump off position.

If the air bed feels too soft, repeat steps #3 to #5 as necessary.

INFLATION

1. Open cord compartment cover and remove power cord. Do not yank on the cord.

See Fig (1).

2. Plug in the AC power cord into an AC electrical outlet. See Fig (2).

Proper inflation of the air bed.

The ambient temperatures of air have an effect on the air bed internal pressure. At low

ambient temperature the air will contract within the air bed and the air bed will feel softer:

add air as necessary. At high ambient temperature the air within the air bed will expand

significantly and the air bed will become hard and may burst: release air to avoid damage

to the air bed or to soften the feel. Do not expose the air bed to extreme temperatures

(hot or cold).

Stretching is a natural characteristic of new vinyl. During initial use, the air bed may

become soft and require additional inflation to maintain desired firmness. This is normal for

the first few days of use.

Dimensions shown are approximate and will vary due to the vinyl temperature and the air

temperature.

In no event shall Intex, their authorized agents or employees be liable for damages

(such as pin holes) to the air bed caused by negligence, ordinary wear and tear,

abuse and carelessness, or external forces.

IMPORTANT NOTE

DEFLATION

1. Plug in the AC power cord into an AC electrical outlet. See Fig (2).

2. Turn the control dial fully counterclockwise until it stops. The pump is now deflating the

air bed. See Fig (5).

3. When all the air is removed from the air bed, turn the control dial back (clockwise) to the

center position which closes the valve and turns the pump off.

4. Disconnect the AC power cord from the electrical outlet, coil the power cord and place it

inside the cord compartment, then close the cover. Make sure the power cord is free of

twists, kinks or knots.

5. With the air bed fully deflated begin rolling the air bed from the end opposite of the pump

towards the end where the pump is located. See Fig (6).

MANUAL INFLATION OPTION

If electrical power is not available, a conventional foot, manual, or battery-operated air

pump can be used by connecting it to the manual inflation port located inside the power cord

compartment. See Fig (7). Follow these steps:

1. Open cord compartment cover and locate the

manual inflation port.

2. Make sure the control dial of the internal electric

pump is still in the closed / pump off position.

3. Remove the cap from the manual inflation port and

insert the nozzle of the pump into the port. Inflate the

air bed to desired firmness.

NOTE: Do not overinflate. The firmness should be

approximately the same as the level achieved with the

internal electric pump.

4. Remove nozzle from manual inflation port and

close the cap and the cord compartment cover.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Deflate the air bed following the “DEFLATION” instructions.

2. Make sure the air bed is clean and dry.

3. Lay the air bed flat with the sleeping surface facing upwards and follow the folding steps

on Figs (8 - 12). Fold the air bed loosely and avoid sharp bends, corners and creases

which can damage the air bed.

REPLACING INTERNAL AIR PUMP OR THE AIR BED COMPONENT

If there is a need to replace either the internal air pump or the air bed portion, detach the

internal pump from the air bed as follows:

1. While holding both lock tabs pressed inward (see Figure 13), turn the round body of the

pump (the large outer rim, not the control dial) counterclockwise and pull the air pump

body out of the holder frame.

2. Depending on which part is being replaced, keep the remaining component (either the

air bed portion or the removed pump) in a safe place until the replacement part is

received. Reattach the components when the new part is received: simply place

the pump into the holder frame and turn clockwise untill the lock tabs click into place.

NOTE: Make sure the rubber seal on the pump housing as well as the inside wall of the

holder frame are clean and free from any lint, hair or dirt, to ensure a proper seal and avoid

air leaks.

NOTE: Do not remove internal air pump from the holder frame other than for servicing, as

this may introduce lint, hair or dirt into the seal area and cause air leaks. If air leak is

experienced, check that the seal is clean before replacing the pump or the air bed.

replace the pump back making sure the internal

air bed beam threads are away from the

pump holder frame.

• Remove the pump from the air bed, make

sure the O-ring is not damaged and/or twisted.

Realign the O-ring or replace a new O-ring.

Contact Intex service center for replacement.

Your Intex air bed has been manufactured using the highest quality materials and workmanship. All Intex products have been inspected and found free of

defects prior to leaving the factory. This Limited Warranty applies to the Intex air bed only.

This limited warranty is in addition to, and not a substitute for, your legal rights and remedies. To the extent that this warranty is inconsistent with any of

your legal rights, they take priority. For example, consumer laws across the European Union provide statutory warranty rights in addition to the coverage

you receive from this limited warranty: for information on EU-wide consumer laws, please visit the European Consumer Center website at

http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/ecc/contact_en/htm.

The provisions of this Limited Warranty apply only to the original purchaser and are not transferable. This Limited Warranty is valid for a period of 1 year

from the date of the initial retail purchase. Keep your original sales receipt with this document, as proof of purchase will be required and must accompany

warranty claims or the Limited Warranty will be invalid.

If you find a manufacturing defect in the Intex Air bed during the warranty period, please contact the appropriate Intex Service Center listed in this

manual. If the item is returned as directed by the Intex Service Center, the Service Center will inspect the item and determine the validity of the claim.

If the item is covered by the provisions of the warranty, the item will be repaired or replaced, with the same or comparable item (at Intex’s choice) at no

charge to you.

Other than this warranty, and other legal rights in your country, no further warranties are implied. To the extent possibly in your country, in no event shall

Intex be liable to you or any third party for direct or consequential damages arising out of the use of your Intex Air bed, or Intex or its agents’ and

employees’ actions (including the manufacture of the product). If your country does not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential

damages, this limitation or exclusion does not apply to you.

You should note that this limited warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:

• If the Intex Air bed is subject to negligence, abnormal use or application, accident, improper operation, improper voltage or current contrary to

operating instructions, improper maintenance or storage;

• If the Intex Air bed is subject to damage by circumstances beyond Intex’s control, including but not limited to, punctures, tears, abrasions, ordinary

wear and tear and damage caused by exposure to fire, flood, freezing, rain, or other external environmental forces;

• To parts and components not sold by Intex; and/or

• To unauthorized alterations, repairs or disassembly to the Intex Air bed by anyone other than Intex Service Center personnel.

Read the owner’s manual carefully and follow all instructions regarding proper operation and maintenance of your Intex air bed. Always inspect your

product prior to use. This limited warranty will be void if use instructions are not followed.

Su Colchón inflable ha sido fabricada utilizando materiales y mano de obra de la más alta calidad. Todos los productos Intex han sido cuidadosamente

examinados para comprobar que no tienen ningún defecto antes de salir de la fábrica. Esta garantía limitada se aplica solo al Colchón inflable.

Esa garantía limitada es un anexo, y no un sustituto para sus derechos y recursos legales. En la medida en que esta garantía sea incompatible con sus

möglich ist, haftet Intex unter keinen Umständen gegenüber Ihnen oder einem Dritten für unmittelbare oder daraus folgende Schäden, die sich aus

dem Gebrauch Ihres INTEX Luftbett ergeben, oder für Handlungen von Intex oder seinen zugelassenen Vertretern und Mitarbeitern (einschließlich der

Herstellung des Produkts). Einige Länder oder Rechtsprechungen erlauben keine Ausschließung oder Einschränkung von vorsätzlichen Schäden oder

Folgeschäden. Die o.g. Ausschließung oder Einschränkung ist für diese Länder nicht zutreffend.

Folgendes führt zum Ausschluss der eingeschränkten Garantie für INTEX Luftbett bzw. unterliegt nicht der eingeschränkten Garantie:

• Wenn das INTEX-Luftbett Fahrlässigkeit, unsachgemäßem Gebrauch oder Anwendung, Unfall, missbräuchlicher Verwendung, falscher Spannung oder

Questa garanzia si aggiunge a, e non è in sostituzione di, vostri diritti di legge. Qualora questa garanzia non rispetti i vostri diritti di legge, questi ultimi

hanno la priorità. Ad esempio, le leggi a tutela dei consumatori all’interno dell’Unione Europea, prevedono dei diritti di legge aggiuntivi alla copertura

Le disposizioni della presente garanzia si riferiscono esclusivamente all’acquirente e non sono cedibili ad altri. La presente garanzia ha durata di 1 anno

dalla data d’acquisto. Conservare la ricevuta d’acquisto insieme al manuale d’istruzione, come prova d’acquisto che dovrà essere esibita insieme alla

garanzia in caso di reclami.

Se un difetto di fabbrica dovesse insorgere entro i 1 anno dall’acquisto, contattare il Servizio di Assistenza Intex riportato su questo manuale. Se il

prodotto e’ restituito, come suggerito dal Centro di Servizio Intex, esso verra’ controllato e ispezionato per determinare la veridicita’ del reclamo. Se il

prodotto è coperto dalle disposizioni della garanzia, il prodotto verrà riparato o sostituito, con lo stesso prodotto o un altro di valore simile (a scelta di

Intex), senza nessun costo aggiuntivo per il cliente finale.

Oltre a questa garanzia e ad eventuali altri diritti garantiti dal rispettivo paese di appartenenza, non sono previste ulteriori garanzie. Anche se previsto dal

paese di appartenenza, in nessun caso Intex sarà responsabile nei confronti dell’utente o di terzi per danni diretti o indiretti derivanti dall’uso del Airbed

Intex, o per azioni da parte di Intex, suoi agenti e suoi dipendenti (compresa la fabbricazione del prodotto). Alcuni paesi o giurisdizioni non consentono

l’esclusione o la limitazione dei danni incidentali o consequenziali, pertanto la suddetta limitazione o esclusione potrebbe non applicarsi a voi.

La presente garanzia non trova applicazione qualora:

• Se Airbed Intex è soggetto a negligenza, utilizzo o applicazioni non idonee,incidenti, per operazioni improprie, voltaggio non idoneo o diverso da

quello indicato nelle istruzioni, manutenzione o conservazione non corretta;

• Se Airbed Intex è soggetto a danneggiamento a causa di circostanze non controllabili da Intex, incluse ma non limitate a, normale usura e danni

causati da esposizione al fuoco, inondazioni, gelo, pioggia o altri eventi atmosferici;

• Per parti e componenti non vendute da Intex; e/o

• Per modifiche non autorizzate, riparazioni o smontaggio al Airbed da soggetti diversi del personale del centro assistenza Intex.

Beperkte Garantie

Uw Intex luchtbed is met behulp van materialen en vakmanschap van hoge kwaliteit geproduceerd. Alle Intex producten zijn gecontroleerd en in orde

bevonden vóór het verlaten van de fabriek. Deze beperkte garantie is alleen van toepassing op het Intex luchtbed.

Deze beperkte garantie wordt verstrekt als aanvulling op en zonder afbreuk te doen aan uw consumentenrechten. Indien deze garantie niet overeenkomt

met een van uw wettelijke rechten, zullen de wettelijke rechten gelden.

De voorwaarden van deze Beperkte Garantie gelden slechts jegens de eerste eigenaar. Deze Beperkte Garantie is niet overdraagbaar en is geldig

gedurende 1 jaar na aankoopdatum in de winkel. Bewaar uw originele aankoopbon bij deze handleiding, daar aankoopbewijs dient te worden overlegd

ingeval van reclamatie. Zonder aankoopbon is Beperkte Garantie NIET geldig.

Indien er zich een productiefout voordoet binnen de periode van 1 jaar kunt u contact opnemen met het juiste service center, deze vindt u in deze

handleiding. INTEX SERVICE zal de klacht met u bespreken en u eventueel vragen het artikel op te sturen voor inspectie. Indien er sprake is van

garantie zal het product kosteloos gerepareerd worden of vervangen voor hetzelfde of een gelijkwaardig product (Intex bepalende factor).

Andere garanties dan deze en de wettelijk bepaalde rechten in uw land zijn niet van toepassing. Intex, haar agentschappen en/of medewerkers zijn onder

geen enkele voorwaarde aansprakelijk jegens de koper of enige andere partij voor indirecte of vervolgschade veroorzaakt door Intex luchtbed van welke

aard dan ook. Het is mogelijk dat sommige landen of rechtsgebieden de uitsluiting of beperking van aansprakelijkheid wegens bijkomende schade of

gevolgschade niet toelaten. In dit geval zijn de bovenstaande uitsluitingen mogelijk niet van toepassing op u.

Deze beperkte garantie is niet van toepassing in onderstaande gevallen:

• Indien Intex luchtbed is onderworpen aan nalatigheid, abnormaal gebruik of toepassing, een ongeluk, onjuist gebruik, verkeerde spanning of voltage,

ander gebruik dan in de handleiding beschreven staat en onjuist onderhoud of opslag.

• Indien Intex luchtbed onderhevig is aan schade veroorzaakt door omstandigheden buiten de macht van Intex, inclusief maar niet beperkt tot, gaatjes,

scheuren, schaafplekken, normale slijtage of beschadiging veroorzaakt door blootstelling aan vuur, overstroming, vrieskou, regen en andere

natuurkrachten.

• Op artikelen welke niet van het merk Intex zijn of Intex artikelen welke in combinatie met artikelen/onderdelen van een ander merk gebruikt worden;

en/of.

• Indien er aanpassingen, reparaties of demontage van Intex luchtbed zijn uitgevoerd door iemand anders dan een medewerker van Intex service.

Lees de handleiding nauwkeurig door en volg alle instructies betreft het juist gebruiken en onderhouden van uw Intex luchtbed op. Inspecteer het product

altijd alvorens u het in gebruik neemt. Als u de aanwijzingen niet opvolgt, kan de Beperkte Garantie vervallen.
