 WARNING
• DO NOT install this equipment without first reading and understanding this instruction sheet. If you are unable
to understand the warnings, cautions and instructions, contact a healthcare professional, dealer or technical
personnel if applicable, before attempting to install this equipment - otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
• ALWAYS check the tub bar for proper tightness before using.
• Hold the tub bar securely when entering or exiting the bath tub.
• DO NOT use the upper gripping position (handle) of the tub bar when lowering or raising yourself into or
out of the bathtub. The upper gripping position (handle) is NOT designed to support an individual's total
weight. Pushing or pulling the upper gripping position (handle) in a sideways motion will loosen the tub bar
from its secured position and may cause injury.
• ALWAYS observe the weight limit on the labeling of your product. Check that all labels are present and
legible. Replace if necessary.
• Apply downward force on the lower gripping position only when lowering or raising yourself into or out of
the bathtub.
• Invacare products are specifically designed and manufactured for use in conjunction with Invacare
accessories. Accessories designed by other manufacturers have not been tested by Invacare and are not
recommended for use with Invacare products.
• After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure that all attaching component parts are secure.
• Bathtub construction varies and this product may not be appropriate for use on all bathtub styles. Bathtubs
with sloped inner walls may not provide the tub bar sufficient holding ability. Given this condition the
assembly can become dislodged during use. After installation, verify that the device holds as expected.
ALWAYS verify that the device is secure prior to use.
• DO NOT use this device on bathtubs with lipped walls.
• Ensure that inside and outside area of bath tub wall where tub bar will be placed is clean and dry. Otherwise,
once installed, the tub bar may not be fully secure to the tub wall and cause injury to the user.
• DO NOT overtighten gripping device. Instability to the tub bar and/or bath tub damage can occur.
Installing the Tub Bar
1. Removethetubbarfromthepackage.
2. Loosenthegrippingdevice.
3. Placethetubbaroverthetopofthetubwallwiththe
externalnon‐skidpadagainsttheoutsideofthetub
wallandtheinternalnon‐skidpadontheinsideof
thetubwall.
4. Placethetubbaruprightwiththecutoutportionflat
onthetopofthetubwallandtightenthegripping
deviceuntilconsiderableresistanceisfelt,butDO
NOTovertighten.
NOTE:Inspectthetubbarforstabilitybytryingtomoveitfromsidetoside.
5. Iftubbarisunstable,repeatSTEPS2‐4.

Limited Warranty
PLEASE NOTE: THE WARRANTY BELOW HAS BEEN DRAFTED TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL LAW APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS
MANUFACTURED AFTER JULY 4, 1975.
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser/user of our products.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.
Invacare warrants its product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for three years for the original purchaser. If within such warranty
period any such product shall be proven to be defective, such product shall be repaired or replaced, at Invacare’s option. This warranty does not include
any labor or shipping charges incurred in replacement part installation or repair of any such product. Invacare’s sole obligation and your exclusive
remedy under this warranty shall be limited to such repair and/or replacement.
For warranty service, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your Invacare product. In the event you do not receive satisfactory warranty
service, please write directly to Invacare at the address on the back page. Provide dealer’s name, address, model number, date of purchase, indicate
nature of the defect and, if the product is serialized, indicate the serial number.
Invacare Corporation will use a return authorization. The defective unit or parts must be returned for warranty inspection using the serial number,
when applicable, as identification within thirty (30) days of return authorization date. DO NOT return products to our factory without our prior
consent. C.O.D. shipments will be refused; please prepay shipping charges.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: THE WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO PROBLEMS ARISING FROM NORMAL WEAR OR FAILURE TO
ADHERE TO THE ENCLOSED INSTRUCTIONS. IN ADDITION, THE FOREGOING WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO SERIAL NUMBERED
PRODUCTS IF THE SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED OR DEFACED; PRODUCTS SUBJECTED TO NEGLIGENCE, ACCIDENT, IMPROPER
OPERATION, MAINTENANCE OR STORAGE; OR PRODUCTS MODIFIED WITHOUT INVACARE’S EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT
(INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MODIFICATION THROUGH THE USE OF UNAUTHORIZED PARTS OR ATTACHMENTS, PRODUCTS
DAMAGED BY REASON OF REPAIRS MADE TO ANY COMPONENT WITHOUT THE SPECIFIC CONSENT OF INVACARE; PRODUCTS
DAMAGED BY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND INVACARE’S CONTROL; PRODUCTS REPAIRED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN AN AUTHORIZED
INVACARE DEALER). SUCH EVALUATION SHALL BE SOLELY DETERMINED BY INVACARE.
THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER, WHETHER EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTIBILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND THE SOLE
REMEDY FOR VIOLATIONS OF ANY WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE
PRODUCT PURSUANT TO THE TERMS CONTAINED HEREIN. THE APPLICATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY WHATSOEVER SHALL
NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN. INVACARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY
CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE EXTENDED TO COMPLY WITH STATE/PROVINCIAL LAWS AND REQUIREMENTS.

 AVERTISSEMENT
• NE PAS installer ou utiliser cet équipement sans avoir d'abord lu et compris ces instructions. Si vous ne comprenez pas les avertissements,
les notes attention ou les instructions, contacter un professionnel des soins de santé, un technicien ou un fournisseur avant d'installer cet
équipement, sans quoi des blessures ou des dommages peuvent survenir.
• Vérifiez TOUJOURS que la barre de baignoire est bien serrée avant de l’utiliser.
• Tenez solidement la poignée lorsque vous entrez dans la baignoire ou que vous en sortez.
• N’UTILISEZ PAS la poignée de préhension supérieure de la barre de baignoire lorsque vous descendez dans la baignoire ou que vous vous en
relevez. La poignée de préhension supérieure n’est PAS conçue pour supporter tout le poids d’une personne. Pousser ou tirer en vous
agrippant à la poignée de préhension supérieure alors que vous effectuez un mouvement transversal risque de desserrer la barre de baignoire
et peut entraîner des blessures.
• Vérifiez TOUJOURS la charge limite sur la plaque signalétique du produit. Vérifiez que toutes les étiquettes soient présentes et lisibles. Au
besoin, remplacez-les.
• Appliquez une force vers le bas sur la poignée de préhension inférieure uniquement lorsque vous descendez dans la baignoire ou lorsque vous
vous en relevez.
• Les produits Invacare sont spécifiquement conçus et fabriqués pour être utilisés avec les accessoires Invacare. Les accessoires conçus par
d’autres fabricants n’ont pas été testés par Invacare et leur utilisation avec les produits Invacare n’est pas conseillée.
• Lorsque vous effectuez des réglages, des réparations ou des travaux de mainte-nance, assurez-vous que toutes les pièces de l’équipement sont
bien serrées avant de l’utiliser.
• La construction de la baignoire varie et ce produit n’est peut-être pas adapté à tous les modèles de baignoires. Les baignoires dont les parois
intérieures sont inclinées peuvent ne pas offrir le support nécessaire à la barre de baignoire. Dans ce cas, l’ensemble peut sortir de son
logement lors de l’utilisation. Une fois l’installation terminée, vérifiez que l’équipement est bien tenu en place. Vérifiez TOUJOURS que
l’équipement est bien maintenu avant de l’utiliser.
• N’UTILISEZ PAS cet équipement sur des baignoires dont les parois sont munies de rebords.
• NE SERREZ PAS trop le levier de tension sous peine de rendre la barre instable et/ou d’endommager la baignoire.
• Assurez-vous que les parois interne et externe de la baignoire sont propres et sèches à l’endroit où vous voulez placer la barre de baignoire.
Dans le cas contraire, la barre risque de ne pas être fixée solidement à la baignoire une fois installée et ceci met l’utilisateur à risque de
blessures.
Installation de la barre de baignoire

étantposéeàplatcontrelehautdelaparoidelabaignoireet
tournezlelevierdetensiondanslesensdesaiguillesd’une
montrejusqu’àcequevoussentiezunerésistanceimportante
maissansTROPserrer.
NOTE:Vérifiezquelabarredebaignoireestbienstableenessayantdela
fairebougerlatéralement.
5. Silabarredebaignoireestinstable,refaiteslesÉTAPES2à6.

Lorsquevousentrezdanslabaignoireouquevousensortez,tenez‐voussolidementàlabarredebaignoireensaisissantlapoignéede
préhensioninférieure.
Garantie Limitée
REMARQUE : LA GARANTIE PRÉSENTÉE CI-DESSOUS A ÉTÉ MISE AU POINT EN CONFORMITÉ AVEC LA LOI FÉDÉRALE AMÉRICAINE
SUR LES PRODUITS FABRIQUÉS APRÈS LE 4 JUILLET 1975.
Cette garantie ne s'applique qu'à l'acheteur/utilisateur initial de notre produit.
Cette garantie vous donne des droits juridiques spécifiques qui s'ajoutent aux droits applicables dans votre état (États-Unis).
Invacare garantit à l’acheteur original que son produit est exempt de vices de matière et de fabrication pour trois ans. Si durant cette période
couverte par la garantie un produit s'avère avoir des défauts, il sera réparé ou remplacé à la discrétion d'Invacare. Cette garantie ne comprend
pas la main-d'œuvre ni les frais d'expédition qui seraient dus à l'installation de la pièce de rechange ou à la réparation de cette pièce sur un tel
produit. L'obligation d'Invacare et votre recours exclusif sous cette garantie sont limités à une telle réparation ou à un tel remplacement.
Pour tout service couvert par la garantie, veuillez contacter le distributeur auprès duquel vous avez acheté votre produit Invacare. Dans le cas où
vous n'obtenez pas satisfaction avec votre service de garantie, écrivez directement à Invacare à l'adresse qui se trouve sur la couverture au dos de
cette brochure. Fournissez-nous le nom et l'adresse de votre distributeur, la date d'achat et indiquez la nature du défaut. Si le produit possède un
numéro de série, indiquez-le également.
Invacare Corporation émettra une autorisation de retour de marchandise. L'unité ou les pièces défectueuses doivent être retournées dans les
trente jours qui suivent la date du bordereau d'autorisation de retour. NE retournez Pas de produit à notre usine sans avoir préalablement
obtenu notre autorisation préalable. Les envois C.R seront refusés ; merci de prépayer vos frais d'expédition.

MANIÈRE INCORRECTE, AUX PRODUITS QUI ONT ÉTÉ MODIFIÉS SANS AUTORISATION PRÉALABLE D'INVACARE, ENTRE AUTRES,
MODIFICATION DE L'APPAREIL AVEC DES PIÈCES OU DES AJOUTS NON AUTORISÉS, DOMMAGES OCCASIONNÉS DURANT DES
RÉPARATIONS EFFECTUÉES SUR L'UNE DES PIÉCES DE L'APPAREIL SANS L'ACCORD SPÉCIFIQUE PRÉALABLE D'INVACARE,
DOMMAGES CAUSÉS PAR DES CONDITONS QUI ÉCHAPPENT AU CONTRÔLE D'INVACARE, PRODUITS RÉPARÉS PAR UNE AUTRE
PERSONNE QUE L'AGENT AUTORISÉ PAR INVACARE. INVACARE DÉTERMINERA SI L'UNE DES CONDITIONS CI-DESSUS S'APPLIQUE.
