FAQ
Q: No or only few TV or radio programs are found, or TV programs show
a strong mosaic formation.
A: This is mainly due to a weak reception. In this case, we recommend
testing the reception outdoors first to see if there are better signal
conditions, resp. whether the problem no longer occurs. If the reception
outdoors gives the desired results, it is recommended to use an antenna
with better radio reception characteristics for indoor use.
Q: The TV channels playback is not smooth (for example: lag, video and
audio are not synchronizing) but the signal is pretty good.
A: These might be due to mobile specification/performance. You can
turn on Hardware decoding to improve the performance. To turn on (or
off) Hardware decoding: first click on the screen to bring up the menu,
tap on the menu button (see at Figure 3 Menu icon at the very right),
then tap on Settings and then tap on Hardware Decode. You can turn
ON the hardware decoding (see at Figure 23 Hardware decode on/off).
Afterwards tap on “Watch TV Now” to return to watch TV.
Figure 23: Hardware decode on/off
*The button on the left indicate the status of Hardware decoding. If
shown “ON” then it means hardware decoding is turned on, if shown
“OFF” it means hardware decoding is turned off.
(Some mobile might not support Hardware Decoding, if you got a black
screen when watching TV, please go to settings and turn off hardware
decoding).
