Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the iOptron
Universal Smartphone Eyepiece Adaptor. This
device makes it easy to view objects through
your telescope through your smartphone camera.
The adaptor is designed to work on the iPhone®,
Samsung Galaxy®, and other smartphone
brands. Simply attach to the back of your phone
then insert the eyepiece into the telescope. The
light design makes it easy for everyone to enjoy
the view without the difficulty of directly looking
though an eyepiece. Plus, you can save video or
photos right onto your smartphone!

camera.Theimagewillnotbe
clearuntilyouputitintothe
telescope.Butyoushouldseea
neatcircle.

Inserttheadaptorintoyour1‐
1/4incheyepieceholderonyour
telescope.Secureinplacewith
yourtelescope’ssidescrew.
 
Warnings:
 Never look directly at the sun with the adaptor eyepiece or via your phone. Permanent eye
damage can occur. A solar filter is required on your telescope for solar viewing. Consult your
telescope manufacturer for proper solar filter.
 Adult supervision required for children to use.
