Safety Information
To avoid any possibility of electric shock, please do not remove the back of this
product. For any repair work please contact either the shop where you purchased the
product or a qualified technician.
User Information:
Connect your mic to your amp or your mixing deck.
Switch on your your amp/mixing deck and put the volume at minimum.
Switch on the phantom power and adjust the gain (see instructions for your
mixing deck or amp).
Do not cover the mic, for example, with your hand, and if you want to avoid the
Larsen effect, do not bring the mic too close to the monitors.
The capsule is very sensitive. Strong physical shocks can cause damage to the
mic. Please handle it with care.
If you want to maintain the mic’s excellent quality and sensitivity, do not
expose it to dust or high temperatures.

Directions for Use:
Connecting and disconnecting the mic lead:
1. Connect the XLR connector to the mic. Ensure that the pins are properly
lined up with the socket before fully connecting (you should hear a small
click).
2. When disconnecting the lead, press the release button and remove the lead
from the mic.
Standard setup:
Phantom power
Using the switches:
A. Low Frequency Attenuation:
Position “-”: no attenuation.
Position “┌”: helps reduce the background noise and minimise a possible
Larsen effect at the same time.
B. Sensitivity Attenuation:
Position “0”: no attenuation.
Position “-10dB”: reduces the sensitivity to -10dB and hence shortens
the recording distance by eliminating background noise. This setting is
generally used during high volume and high amplitude sound recordings
(for example, to properly record low frequencies from a small instrument
in a symphony orchestra).
