OPERATIN INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

USE] REGULATIONS 1996.

It is essential that the appliance is
correctly earthed. An electricity supply
of 240 V - 50 Hz fused at 3 A is required.
Rea these instructions carefully before
attempting to operate the appliance.
1.1 INTRODUCTION

boilers. When operating in winter mo e,
the appliance provi es central heating

in summer mo e, the central heating is
not operational however the appliance
continues to supply hot water whenever
it is require .

system boilers. The boiler is fitte with
a iverter valve which enables the boiler
to be irectly connecte to a hot water
cylin er.
1.2 APPLIANCE OPERATION

l/m - 0.5 gal/min).
The fan will start an the burner will
light at full output. If the raw off rate is
near the maximum esign flow rate the
appliance will run continuously at full
output until a tap is either turne off or
the flow rate is re uce in which case
the heat output will re uce accor ingly
to maintain a stea y temperature.
Hot water is ma e available almost
imme iately at the appliance outlet, but
the final temperature an time taken
for the hot water to reach a tap epen s
upon the potentiometer setting, the rate
at which water is rawn off, an the
length of the pipe between the boiler an
the tap.
When the tap is turne off, the appliance
will revert to C.H. mo e (if set on winter
position) otherwise the burner will be
extinguishe pen ing the next eman
for hot water.

1.3 OPERATIN INSTRUCTIONS
1.3.1 Bolier ignition Ifig. 24)
The first ignition of the boiler must
be carrie out by qualifie technical
personnel. Successively, if it is necessary
to start up the boiler again, a here strictly
to the following instructions: open the
gas tap to allow the flow of the fuel.
Move the main switch of the system
to "ON". When fuel is fe to the boiler,
a sequence of checks will be carrie
out an the isplay shows the normal
con ition of the functioning, always
in icating the pressure of the system. If
the blue luminous bar is on, this in icates
the presence ofvoltage.
N.B.: The first key press acts only to
illuminate the display, successive key
presses will be recognised to alter the
mode or value.
Winter
Press the key ^ of the controls (pos. 2)
to activate the winter mo e functioning
(heating an D.H.W.). The isplay will be
as shown in the figure.
Summer
Press the k e y ^ of the controls (pos. 2)
to activate the summer mo e functioning
(only the pro uction D.H.W.). The isplay
will be as shown in the figure.
