LIMITATIONS OF USE
The equipment must be attributed individually to one person.
The maximum nominal load of use is 100 kg, including the material.
The lifeline used for access must be in accordance with the requirements of
EN353/2:2002
The sliding fall arrester used for access must be in accordance with the requirements of
Standard EN353/2002 and its anchorage to the sternal ring must be carried out directly
with a single carabiner, without elements that lengthen the union.
The upper anchor point, where the fall arrest system is fixed or forwarded, must always
be above the sliding fall arrester and in the vertical of it.
The sternal ring of the harness must also not pass under any circumstances over the
upper anchor point of the IruLadder.
Personal protective equipment should not be worn by those whose state of health may
affect the safety of the user under conditions of normal use or in case of emergency.
Personal protective equipment should only be worn by a person trained and competent in
its safe use.
A fall arrest harness is the only acceptable body grip device that can be used in a fall arrest
system.

6
INSTALLATION OF IRULADDER
AS A LADDER
The ladder must be hoisted in the correct position:
Forming an angle of 72º with the ground in case of being a support ladder.
The folding and unfolding must be done on the climbing side of the ladder, not placed in
the focus of danger of collapse or fall of the same when handling it.
For the extension of the upper flight of stairs you must unlock the
safety cam that is under the lower rung of the extendable section.
The staircase should be on a flat and immovable base.
The ladder is equipped with height-adjustable legs, so the ladder
leveling systems must be secured before use.
Supporting stairs should be supported on a flat, non-brittle surface,
and should be secured before use.
The ladder should never be repositioned with the user on it.
When placing the ladder, consider the risk of collision with other objects such as
pedestrians, vehicles, windows or doors.
Identify electrical hazards in the work area, such as overhead lines or other exposed
electrical equipment.
The fiber+aluminum stabilizer legs offer insulation at the top, from the sticker with the
double triangle to the top of the joint with the ladder. From the ground contact shoes to
the double triangle sticker, the maximum insulation is 10 kV in dry conditions.
The ladder should rest on its own feet or legs adjustable in height, not on steps or steps.
Stairs should not be placed on sliding surfaces (such as ice, polished surfaces, or
surfaces with contaminants). If this is not possible, additional effective measures should
be taken to prevent slippage or clean contaminated surfaces.

7
AS AN ANCHOR POINT WITH POLE STABILIZATION
Place the ladder on the floor, near the pole or façade where you are going to
work.
Attach the ROCKER Kit 20 m to the anchor point of the upper step. You must
use a connector (carabiner) in this anchorage in accordance with the EN-362
"Connectors" standard.
Put on a fall arrest harness in accordance with EN 361.
The stabilization of the ladder is achieved by tying the ladder to the pole
where you are going to work with the supplied tying rope (be very careful not
to confuse the rope tying to the pole with the lifeline).
Before hoisting the ladder, hook the carabiner of the tying rope into the cane
of the right stringer (1), circle the pole and pass the rope through the canker
of the left stringer (2).
1
2
Ice the ladder and place it at the necessary height, maintaining the requirements of its
use as a ladder.
Pass the tie rope through the jaw of the left stringer, circle the post, and pass the rope
over the jaw of the right stringer. Tighten the rope and close it with a knot on the knot
stringer at the exit of the right stringer jaw. To release the ropes from the jaws after use,
release the string attachment to the stringer and pull it into the ladder.

8
AS AN ANCHOR POINT WITHOUT THE NEED FOR WALL OR POLE SUPPORT WITH
IRULADDER EXTENDABLE TRIPODE LEGS
Place the ladder on the floor, near the pole or façade where you are going to work.
Attach the ROCKER Kit 20 m to the anchor point of the upper step. You must use a
connector (carabiner) in this anchorage in accordance with the EN-362 "Connectors"
standard. Put on a fall arrest harness in accordance with EN 361.
The stabilization of the ladder is achieved by increasing the support surface by means of
the IruLadder extendable tripod legs.
IruLadder in this case is used as a support ladder that requires support on the pole, by
placing the stabilizer legs the effort received by the pole is minimized.
Ice the ladder and place it at the necessary height, maintaining the requirements of its
use as a ladder.
Stand under the ladder and face it. Raise the extendable tripod legs and anchor them to
the cylindrical step (third from above). In anchorage it is done from the support, towards
the staircase.
Open the legs until they are stopped (they stop on the side spars of the ladder)
By pressing the lever they contain towards the leg we manage to extend them.

9
Bring the legs beyond the post line. The angle of inclination of the legs on the vertical is
15º.
15º
If this staircase is used on the façade bring the legs to the junction of the floor and the
façade

10
Attach each leg to the nearest ladder spar by means of the tying ropes. Hook the carabiner
into the leg canopy and pass the other end of the cape through the jaw of the ladder.
Tighten the rope close it with a knot on the knot stringer at the exit of the right stringer
grip. To release the ropes from the jaws after use, release the string attachment to the
stringer and pull it into the ladder.
AS AN ANCHOR POINT WITH WALL SUPPORT OR POLE WITH EXTENDABLE SIDE
LEGS IRULADDER 2.5/4.3 M
Place the staircase near the façade on which you are going to work.
Attach the ROCKER Kit 20 m to the anchor point of the upper step. You must
use a connector (carabiner) in this anchorage in accordance with the EN-
362 "Connectors" standard.
Put on a fall arrest harness in accordance with EN 361. Put on a fall arrest
harness in accordance with EN 361.
Stabilization in FACADES: the stabilization of the ladder is achieved by
increasing the support surface through the extendable side legs.
IruLadder in this case is used as a support ladder that requires support on
the façade.
Ice the ladder and place it at the necessary height, maintaining the
requirements of its use as a ladder.
Each of the legs is hooked on the hardware placed at the top of the base section. Insert
each leg into the hardware from bottom to top and open until it stops.
Extend the legs to the ground by pressing the lever towards the leg.
Once the staircase is stabilized (on a pole or on the façade) DO NOT MOVE IT. If it is
necessary to move the ladder, the extendable legs must be dismantled.

11
USE
Do not exceed the maximum total load of 100 Kg.
Do not protrude, the user must keep his waist between the stringers and the two feet on
the same step during the task.
During the task, the fall arrester must be placed as high as possible without ever
exceeding the last rung of the ladder.
Never place your feet on the top three rungs.
Stairs should only be used for light and short-term work.
Use non-conductive ladders for unavoidable work with electrical voltage.
Do not use the ladder outside in adverse environmental conditions, such as in strong wind.
Secure doors (not emergency exits) and windows in the work area.
Ascend and descend facing the ladder.
Keep a good grip on the ladder when it ascends and descends.
Do not use the ladder as a bridge.
Wear appropriate footwear to climb the ladder.
Avoid excessive lateral loads for example by drilling a wall.
Do not use the ladder for tasks that may cause falls in which the worker may be thrown
backwards.
Do not stay long periods of time on top of the stairs without regular breaks (tiredness is a
risk).
Support stairs used as access to a higher level must extend at least 1 meter above the
level of disembarkation, for the disembarkation operation you must use another external
anchor point and disengage from the anchor point of the ladder.
