Repeater Mode
It is recommended to use Repeater Mode. In Repeater mode the repeater expands
wireless coverage of other existing repeateror wirelessrouter. Computerscan connect to
the device in either a wiredor wireless way.
To set up Repeater mode:
a. Plug the repeater into the mains socket. Connect the repeat toa computer using the
supplied network cable.
b. Switch the Client/Repeater/AP button to Repeater.
c. Clickon the Internet access icon at the bottom right of your screen andthen click to
launch the Local Area Connection Status window.

d. Clickthe Properties button.
e. Clickand highlightInternet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then click the Propertiesbutton.
f. Click to select Use the following IP address. Enter the IP address 192.168.100.X where
X could beanynumber of2-99. Click a field of Subnetmask, the subnetaddress should
be created automatically.

g. ClickOK to close the InternetProtocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.
h. Open Internet Explorer and enter http://192.168.100.253 to follow the repeater mode
settings as described inthe Repeat mode setting section.
i. After set up closeInternet Explorer.
j. Repeat steps cto f above. Click toselect Obtain an IP address automatically. ClickOK
and close the windows. The repeater mode should be able toset up.
Repeater mode setting
Follows the steps below to configure the repeater.
1. In the login window displayed below, enter the user name and password printed on
the bottom label.
2. ClickLogin to enter the configuration page.
3. ClickSetup Wizard in thenavigation bar on the left pane of thepage, select Wireless
Universal Repeater Mode and click Next.
4. ClickSite Survey to search for the wireless network you wantto connect. Select a
desired network and click Next.

5. Selecta wirelessClient Security option and then input a pass code. Click Next.
6. DeselectSynchronizeWireless Universal Repeater's and Uplink repeater's SSID and
Security Options and then select a security option.
ClickFinish to complete setup wizard.

Mode répéteur
Il estrecommandé d'utiliserleMode répéteur. En mode répéteur, le répéteur étend la
couverture sans fil des autresrépéteurs ou routeurssans fil existants. Les ordinateurs
peuvent seconnecterà l'appareil avec ou sans fil.

Pour configurer le mode répéteur:
a. Branchez le répéteur. Reliezle répéteur àun ordinateur à l'aide du câble réseau fourni.
b. Mettez lebouton Client/Repeater/AP sur Repeater (répéteur).
c. Cliquez sur l'icône d'accès à Internet située en bas à droite de l'écran, puis ouvrez la
fenêtre Statut de la connexion au réseau local.

d. Cliquez sur Propriétés.
e. Cliquez sur Protocole Internet (TCP/IP) puis sur Propriétés.
f. Sélectionnez Utiliser l'adresse IP suivante. Tapez l'adresse IP 192.168.100.X (X étant
n'importe quelnombre de 2 à 99). Cliquez sur le champ d'un masque de sous-réseau;
l'adresse de sous-réseau devrait être créée automatiquement.
