2. Focus
Focus the cle ar cover of eS cope on the objec t.
3. Choose a ma gnificat ion rate.
Use the adjustable switch on the trail to choose a magnification
rate. There are two magnification rates of 15~65X and 225X .
4. Auto Focus
Press the A F button to st art auto focus.
* Ma ke s ure the Aut o Focus eSc ope is fixed on the ob ject
after pre ssing the AF b utton, or it can' t focus well .
* The auto focus accuracy rate can't reach to 100% for all the
Auto Focus pr oducts. So me colors or ob ject s ma y a f fect
the focus . In this case , please u se t he Sligh t A d just ment
Button to h elp to adjus t.
* The highe r resoluti on you choose, the longer time it'll take
to auto foc us. We suggest u se the resolution of 640 x 480
during au to foc us a nd after th e f o cus is read y, c h oose a
high er resol ution to cap ture p hoto so that you can get a
photo wit h high resol ution finally.

distance between the object and microscope. If the distance
i s b e t w een 0~ 1 5 c m , the smaller d i s t a n ce, the b igger
ma g n i f i c a t io n , a n d th e fu r t he r d i s tanc e , t h e s m a lle r
magnifi cation wil l be. You can use the calibration and dial
to calcul ate the exac t magnificati on rate.

Measu rement
Double-click on the picture to enter into measurement interface.
Under the ' Measurem ent' icon , you can c hoose any
desired o ptions to me asure.
1. Any Angle Line Me asuremen t
Simply cl ick from one point and drag to the next point, and
then clic k again to loc k-in.
2. Straight Angl e Line Measurement
The Line measurement allows you to measure from one point
to the next. Simply click and drag to the desired length, and
then clic k again to loc k-in.
3. 45 Degrees' Ang le Line meas urement
This function is for any 45 Degrees' Angle Line angle measurement.
Simply cl ick and drag t o extend out to the d esired ang le.
4. Continuous Li ne Measure ment
The Continuous Li ne measurement allows you to measure
any conti nuous desi red length. Simply click and drag from
one point t o other desi red points, cli ck again to lo ck-in.

6. Radius Circle M easureme nt
Simply click and extend out to the desired radius, the radius,
circumference and area of the circle will show up accordingly.
7. Diameter Circ le Measure ment
Si mply cli c k a nd e xten d ou t t o th e d esire d d i amet er, the
radius, c ircumfer ence and area of the cir cle will sh o w u p
accordi ngly.
5. Polyg on Measure ment
The Polygon Measurement allows you to measure the side-
length, i nterior an gle de g ree, cir cumf e renc e an d a rea of
the polyg on.
8. Three Points Circ le Measure ment
Simply define any three points and click, the radius, circumference
and area of a c ircle will s how up accordin gly.
9. Three Points Arc Me asuremen t
Simply define any three points and click, the circumference
of the arc as w ell as the radi u s a nd a rea of the sect or will
show up acc ordingly.
10. Three Point s Angle Meas urement
This function allows measurement of an angle. Simply click
and drag to e xtend out to t he desired angl e.
11. Four Points Ang le Measurement
Simply define any two points and click for the first line, and
repeat the action to create the second line, the angle degree
between t wo lines sho w up accordingl y.

Chang e the Calib ration
If change t he magnifi cation rate and adjust focus to capture
picture , please cal ibrate the magn ificatio n rate again.
1. Do uble cli c k t o o p en the pict ure, Clic k ' > Rese t
magnificat i o n > Res e t picture m a g n i ficati on' as belo w.
And then start calibration again (Calibration details please
refer to pa ge9, 10,11 ).

Time-lapsed ph oto / video – Set the start time, i nterval
time and to tal photo/ video number.
Display d ate & time – Cho ose to display or n ot display
the date an d time for pic ture / video.
Save as - Cho ose a new path t o save picture /v ideo.

1. Focus m icroscop e on the attac hed dial and then a djust the
magnifi cation til l the picture i s c lear. Take a p ictu re f or the
selected area when the dial is parallel to the crossing as below.
Calib ration an d Measurement
Please ma ke calibra tion before mea surement .
Click on th e shortcut i con or choose 'Di splay cros sing
' under 'Se tting' o ption t o di splay th e cr ossi n g. It's use d to
check the d ial is paral lel or not.

2. Doub l e - c l ick on t h e p i c t ure to en t e r i n t o meas u r e m e nt
interfa ce as below.
3. Click the calib ration ico n in the tool bar, and the n a
dialog wi ll popup as below.
4. Click 'OK ', the mouse w ill become a cros sing on the screen.
Cl ick on the begi n ning and en ding points acros s a known
value (The default mag nification rate and value will show up
automat ically). N ow a dia l og will popup as bel ow a nd you
need to ent er the exac t va lue of the meas ureme nt sampl e
into the 'Actual dimension'. Then the software will automatically
calibra te the magni fication rate . Click 'OK' and the adjusted
magnifi cation rat e will show in the up per right co rner.
5. No w y ou c an troug h ' Calib ratio n > Straight angl e
line' to measur e the value again. If the value you measure by
soft ware is nearly t h e same a s the ex a c t v a lue of the dial
means the c alibrati on finish.
6. B a s e o n t h e s a m e m a g ni fi ca ti o n r a t e , c l i c k t h e i c o n
and a dialog will show up automatically. Click
'OK' and the adjusted magnification rate will show in the upper
right cor ner.

2. Change the magnification rate and capture several pictures,
c lick on the pic ture to ent e r i nto measurement int erface.
And cli c k ' > S e t magn i f i c atio n > S e t p i c t ure
magnifi cation', n ow a dialog will sh ow up as bel o w, e nter
the magni fication r ate into the dial og and click ' OK'.
3. If you want to use th e same magni ficati on r ate to capt u re
pictures, just click > Set magnification > Set capture
magnification'. Now all pictures will use the same magnification
rate and yo u can start me asurement dir ectly.

On the left s ide of the mai n interface, th ere
are two folders for saving picture and video.
All the pictures and videos will save into the
folders automatically after capture and show
in thumbnails. The picture or video won't be
deleted when software is not in use. We suggest
save the im portant picture or video to other
assigned folder and delete the useless picture
and video .

Setting Option
Under 'Se tting' opt ion, there are re solution , real-time image
setting , select dev ice, display cr ossing, di splay date & time ,
sound eff ect and skin .
The functions of real-time image setting,
display crossing and display date & time
are the s a m e a s t h e s hort c u t i c o ns
in the main m enu bar.
File Option
Under 'File' option, there are select saving folder, open, delete,
copy image, copy file, save as, photo save as display and exit.

Open Open the selected picture and
video.
Phot o save as d isplay Dis play the
pict u r e s i z e, dat e & t i m e , f i le nam e ,
magnifi cation and t he font size.
The operations of del ete, copy image , copy file, save as and
exit will not list out in details. Please follow the normal operations.

Capture Option

Under 'Help' option, there are method,
eSco p e update a n d about. C l i c k
'Method' to enter into eScope software
instruc tions. Cli ck 'About' to sho w
the software current version and our
company website: www.oi.com.hk .
Display d ate & time Display or not display the date and time
for pictu re and video .
Skin Choo se the color f or skin.

a. Pre ss the short cut button in t he main menu bar.
* All pictu res defaul t format are BMP, you can select JPEG
format as w ell. And all v ideos default f ormat are in AVI.
Save Pi cture or Video
All pictu res and vide os will saved und er the assigned folder, if
need to cha nge the path , there are three ways as below.

c. Right click on the photo/video > Save as to choose a new path.
