5. Recording qualityisaffectedbylightingconditionandmaybepoorordistortedunderthe
sudden changeofbrightnesslevel(ex:rightafterpassingthroughthetunnel),nolightin
the nightoragainstthelight.

data intotheSDMemorycard.ThismaycausethelossofdataanddamagetotheSDMemorycard.
3. Donotdisassemble,repairormodifytheSDMemorycard.Thismaycausethelossofdataanddamage
to theSDMemorycard.
4. PleasekeeptheSDMemorycardintothehardcaseifyouneedtocarryitalonefor a longtime.
5. PleaseuserecommendedSDMemorycardsbythemanufacturer.Ifnot,thiscausethelossofdataor
damage totheproduct.
6. Generally, a SDMemorycardhaslimitedlifetimeandmaybeunabletostorenewdataaftercertain

1. A certainamountoftime(minimum 5 minutestomaximum30minutes)maytakeuntiltheGPSreception
starts. ThisistheprocessingtimeoftheGPSreceivertocommunicatewithGPSsatellitesfloatinginthe
sky andmayvarydependingonweatherconditionandsurroundingcircumstances.
2. EventhoughtheGPSreceptionsignalisunstable,itisnothingtodowiththebasicfunctionoftheproduct
and youcancontinuetorecordnormally.
3. PleasemakesuretokeeptheGPSreceiverfullyexposedthroughthewindshieldandavoidtoinstallthe
product toanypositionliketintedpartofwindshield.
4. Ifthecameralenstiltstobackwardforin-vehiclerecording,theGPSreceptionmaybecomepoor.(The
built-in GPSreceiverfacesdowntothegroundandmaybeunstabletocommunicatewithGPSsatellite.)
Please revertbackthedirectionofcameralenstothefrontafterin-vehiclerecording.
5. Donotusewithotherproductsthatgenerateelectromagneticwaves.Thismayinterferewith a GPSand
reduce theperformanceofGPSreception.

1. Cleanthewindshieldwheretoplacetheproduct
2. Asshowninthepicture,clickthemountingcradleatthetopoftheproductwith
Cradle ConnectingKnob.
3. Removetheprotectionfilmofadhesivetapeonthecradleandadhereitonthe
windshield withaligningthecameralenstothefrontdirection.
• Tip:Pleaseavoidadheringtheproductfromanypositionwheretoblockdriver'sview
angle aswellaswherethecameralensisblockedbyanyobjectstorecordfrontview.
4. Asshowninthepicture,afterconfirmingfrontandreversesideofSDMemoryCard,
insert andpushtheSDMemoryCardintotheslotonthebottomoftheproduct.

5. Alignthedirectionofcameralenstothefront.
6. Connectthepowercableandputintothecigarettelighterjackofthevehicle.
7. Arrangethecablewithcableholders.

How toconnectPower(whenusingUninterrupted-PowerCable) f P n s s £pBLACK
This productisavailabletobeconnectedwithUninterrupted-PowerCable(UPC)forusingtheproductas a surveillance
camera whenthevehicleengineisstopped.However,whenyouconnectUPC,youarehighlyrecommendedtouseour
authentic UPCwhichhasbatteryprotectioncircuitinordertopreventthevehiclebatteryfromdischarging.
1. Openfuseboxinsideofthevehicleand,byusingelectrictestingdevice,findthefuse
which thepowerissuppliedevenwhilethekey-offstatusofthevehicle.(Forexample,
emergency flasherlights,interiorlightsanddoorlightsetc.)
• Caution: UPC can beconnectedonlywhenthevoltageofvehiclepoweris12V.CheckVehicle
Voltage firstbyusingsuchaselectrictestingdevice.
2. Pulloutthefuseandconnectonelegofthefusewith"+"end(redcolor)ofUPCand
insert backintooriginalposition
3. Connect"-"end(blackcolor)ofUPCtotheanymetalpartofthevehicle.Ifthereisno
screw attachedtothevehicle,youmusttoscrewoneonthevehicle.
• Note:Powerisnotcomingincaseyouconnecttoplasticpartlikedashboardotherthan
metal part.
4. Makesuretheproductisworkingproperlyafterthevehicleengineisstartedandthen
arrange andhidethecableconnectedtotheproduct.
• Note:WhenUPCisconnected,pleasemanageSDMemoryCardmorethoroughly.

It ispossibletoassembleanddisassemblethemainunitwiththecradleduetobotharefixedbythefixingknob.
Accordingly, pleasedisassemblethemainunitfromthecradlewhenyouneed a repairserviceand/ortoprevent
the mainunitfromlong-timeexposuretodirectsunlight
1. Rotatetheknobin a counterclockwisedirectionuntilitiscompletelyloosen.
2. Removetheknobanddetachthemainunitfromthecradle.
• Caution : Pleasemakesurenottolosttheknob.

1. Turnonthepowerof a vehicle,thePOWERLEDturnson.ThePOWERLEDalso
indicates thestatusoftheGPSconnectionanditwillblinkwith 2 secondsinterval
and stoptoblinkoncetheGPSissuccessfullyconnected.
3 scalesbeepsoundwillbeheardafter30secondssincethePOWERLEDturns
on, andtheproductstartsrecording.Thevideoandaudiodataarecontinuously
recorded andstoredintoSDmemorycard.
When impactofcollision,lightningaccelerationorsuddenbrakeisdetectedby
the built-inimpactsensor,thePOWERLEDblinksthreetimesandtherecorded
data isstoredinSDmemorycardaseventfile.
Note: IncasetheShock-SensingSoundAlarmissettoONatUserSetting,2-scalebeep
tone (beep-beep)willsoundwithLEDindicationandsaveasEventImage.However,in
order topreventmalfunctionof3-axisaccelerationsensor,iftheEventhappenswithin
10 secondsafterAlarmtonesounds,Alarmtonewon'tsoundbutjustLEDblinks 3 times
and recordasEventImage.
4. Whenturningoffthepowerof a vehicle,theproductprocessthelastdatafor
5-10 secondsandturnsoffwiththe 3 scalebeepsound.Pleasedonotremove
the SDmemorycardbeforeyouhear 3 scalebeepsound.

Auto ParkingModeSwitchingfunctionisbuiltinthisdeviceand,incaseoflong-termparking,youcanswitch
or releaseautoparkingmodebybuilt-in3-axisaccelerationsensor.Incaseofrecordingwhileparking,this
devise recordsonlywhensensingshockormotionforhigherefficiencyofSDMemoryCard.
1. Inordertoswitchtoautoparkingmode,thedevicemustbeconnectedtoelectric
power sourceofthevehicle.Afterconnecting,makesurethepowerofthisdevice
is stillturnedonevenafterthepowerofvehicleisturnedoff.Pleaserefertopage
12 forhowtoconnectuninterruptedpowercable.
2. Thisdeviceisautomaticallysensingandswitchingtoautoparkingmodewhen
the vehicledoesn'tmoveforparkingorstoppingformorethan 5 minutessubject
to thedevicesettingissettoautoparkingmode.
3. Whenenteringautoparkingmode,therecordingstartsaftertheeventhappens
as pereventsituationsetatthesettingmenuandtherecordedfilesarestored
with "pmr_date.avi"format.InPCPlayerprogram,youcaneasilyrecognizethefile
by iconmarkedatthefrontofthefilename.
4. Iftheshockand/orthemotionofvehicleisdetected,thedevicewillautomatically
release autoparkingmodeandreturnbacktonormalrecordingmode.
• Note:RecordingatParkingModeisworkingonlywhenshockormotionisdetected,
however, itmaynotbeworkingifshockormotionisweak.Also,pleasebenotedthat
the recording can beresumedbythesurroundingnoises(closetofactory,streetside).
