these situations.
Only use the appliance for its designed•
purposes.
Always use with grass catcher or work with the•
safety ap closed.
Before positioning and removing the grass•
catcher, switch the motor o and wait till the cutting
device has come to a standstill.
Make sure that all the protective devices are•
tted and in good condition.
Never operate the appliance with defective•
guards or shields, or without safety devices, for
example deectors and/or grass catchers, in place.
In order to start the appliance, the cutting device•
must be completely free to move.
Do not put hands and feet in the vicinity
of rotating parts. Caution! Risk of
injury!
The use of the appliance is only permitted if•
the safety distance provided by the guide bar is
complied with.
Always guide the connection line safely.•
Do not operate the appliance in wet grass.•
Ensure that you have a good a stand, especially•
on slopes.
Always walk across the face of slopes, never up•
and down. Exercise extreme caution when changing
direction on slopes. Do not operate the appliance
on excessively steep slopes.
Only guide the appliance at walking pace, never•
run.
Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling•
the appliance towards you.
Always switch o the appliance, disconnect•
the plug and wait until the cutting blade stops
whenever you leave the machine; before carrying
out maintenance, before clearing a blockage, before
checking, cleaning or working on the appliance.
Caution! Blades do not stop immediately
after switching o.
Never pick up or carry an appliance while the•
motor is running. Pull the plug from the socket.
Stop the rotating parts if the appliance has to be•
tilted for transportation. Do not operate the cutting
means when crossing surfaces other than grass, and
when transporting the appliance to and from the
working area.
Use caution when cleaning or performing•
maintenance on the appliance.
DANGER! Watch your ngers! Wear
gloves!
Do not tilt appliance when switching on the•
motor, except if the appliance has to be tilted
for starting. In this case, do not tilt it more than
absolutely necessary and lift only the part which is
away from the operator.
Always ensure that both hands are in the•
operating position before returning the appliance
to the guard.
It is forbidden to move or modify any of the•
electrical and mechanical safety devices.
Only work in daylight or suciently good•
articial light.
While operating the appliance, wear suitable•
working clothes, long trousers and solid shoes. Do
not operate the appliance when barefoot or wearing
open sandals.
Before use, all foreign bodies must be removed•
from the area where the appliance is to be used:
remove all stones, sticks, wires, bones, and other
foreign objects, also pay attention to foreign bodies
during the operation.
If the appliance strikes a foreign body, examine•
the mower for signs of damage and carry out any
necessary repairs before restarting and continuing
to work.
If the appliance should start to vibrate•
abnormally, switch o the motor and check for the
cause immediately. Vibration is generally a warning
of trouble.
The appliance should be checked carefully•
before use. You should only work with an appliance
that is in good condition. If you notice any defect on
the machine that may cause danger to the operator,
do not operate the appliance until defects are
rectied.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. Use•
only original spare parts. Parts not produced by
manufacturer may cause poor t and possible
injury.
