detail is required. The 19” large screen
format features400 lines of resolution,and
faithful color reprodudion. The CVM19008 also
offers audioand volume control.
Easyto connect BNC’s provide both
video in and out. Accessible fmnt panel
controlsfeature power, volume, channel and
menu fundions. Back panel controls include
video and audioinput.

(I) MENU- Press the MENU button on the monitor to select SETUP. Press the
VOLUME(+) to show the list of SETUP items. Press MENU v or A to choose
any SETUP item listed. Follow the on-screen commands and make any desired
changes and then EXIT. Press MENU ‘I or A to navigate through the other
MENU selections.
(2) CHANNEL- Press CHANNEL v or A buttons to select the desired channel.
The channel will be displayed in the upper left comer of the screen.
(3) VOLUME- To increase the volume, press the VOLUME A button. To
decrease the volume, press the VOLUME v button. Press and hold either
button until your desired volume level is reached. If you have set the VOLUME
BAR to the ON position in the MENU, you will see a visual display of the setting.
(4) POWER- Press the POWER button to turn the video monitor on. The picture
will appear in a few seconds. Press the button again to turn the video monitor
Off.

The AN jack panel on the back of this monitor includes audio/video inputs for
connection of a VCR, Video Camera, Video Disc Player, or other accessory
equipment.
OPTIONAL FEATURE: Model PSl953C-LT
Video loop-through on rear panel with 75 Ohm/Hi2 impedance.
IMPORTANT: If the monitor is used wlthout the video loop-through then the
impedance switch should be in the 75 Ohms position.(terminated) If the monitor
is used with the video loop-through, then the switch should be positioned to
Hiz.(unterminated)
How to Use the AudioNideo Input Jacks
For example, to view the playback of a VCR tape: 1. Connect the video and
Audio input jacks on the monitor to the video output jacks on the VCR. 2. Press
MENU v or ‘A on the monitor., Select the word INPUT with the monitor’s on-
screen arrow. 3. Press (+) or (-) button to select the VCR/AUX inputs on the
rear of the monitor. 4. Turn the VCR on and play the tape to be viewed on the
monitor.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
WARNING: Video Monitor use High Voltages. Do not try to remove the cabinet back.
Refer servicing to qualified sewice personnel.
l To avoid Possible shook hazard be sure the monitor is unplugged from the electrical outlet
before cleaning.
l When cleaning the monitor screen take care not to scratch of damage the soreen surface
(avoid wearing jewelry or anything abrasive). Wipe the front screen with a dean cloth
dampened with water. Use even, easy, vertical strokes when cleaning.
l Gently wipe the cabinet surfaces with a clean cloth or sponge dampened in a solution of cool
water, Use a clean dry cloth to dry the wiped surfaces.
l Occasionally vacuum the ventilation holes or slots in the cabinet back.
l Never use thinners, insedioide sprays, or other chemicals on or near the cabinet, as they
might cause Permanentmarring of the cabinet finish.
