3.4. Operatingprinciple
The machine's soil bin is lled with soil. The soil supply belt transports the soil to the elevator. The elevator carries the
soil to the rotor.
The rotor distributes the soil evenly over the full width of the tray, and into the cells in the tray. Each cell in the tray
contains the same volume of soil.
A vibrator is mounted under the transport belt. The eccentric vibrates the transport belt. This improves the
distribution of the soil packed into the tray. The residual soil is returned by the soil return chain.
The transport belt carries the lled tray under a soil slide. The soil slide scrapes the excess soil off the tray. The tray
then passes under a brush unit that smooths out the soil.
The machine is mounted on wheels for easy mobility.
3.5. Machineworkstations
This machine has two workstations: at the transport belt, on the supply and take-off sides of the soil bin.

4. Transport
Follow all the instructions given in this manual, in particular the instructions in the Safety Section.
On delivery, a Javo engineer must be present to unload the machine from the truck or wagon.
Do not move the machine until the power cable and compressed air line have been disconnected. Make sure that
the hoses and cables are stowed properly.
Check the machine's condition before moving the machine at the company's site (when it does not need to be
lifted). First check that the route is unobstructed so that the machine can be moved to the required position without
problems.
Contact your supplier when the machine needs to be lifted for transport away from the company site, or call a
professional shipping company.
Do not move the machine until the transport belt (take-off conveyor) has been removed. The machine must be
transported upright. The relative humidity must not be too high, to avoid condensation in the machine.
Report any damage during or immediately after the delivery to the shipping company and to Nobels BV. Take all the
necessary measures to avoid further damage.

play in the middle of the chain is about 40 mm.
2. Adjust the tension of the chain if necessary.
a. The tension can be adjusted with the two tension nuts mounted on each
side of the elevator housing.
b. Adjust the nuts (A) on each side of the elevator housing to the same
tension.
The tension of the chain must not be too tight.
5.4.3. Adjustelevatorsoildirectingplates
The elevator lifts the soil and drops it into the compactor. The direction of soil discharged from the elevator can be
controlled with soil directing plates.
Adjust the soil directing plates before starting work with the machine.
Procedure:
1. Check the distribution of soil in the tray.
2. When the soil is poorly distributed:
a. Loosen soil directing plate (A).
b. Move the soil directing plate forwards or backwards.
c. Tighten soil directing plate (A).
Soil directing plate (B) is often used with soft/weak trays. This is because the
soil can bend weak trays and cause production problems.
