JB SYSTEMS®3/5 ROTOGOBO OUTDOOR
DESCRIPTION:
1. FOCUS knob: used to adjust the sharpness of the
projection. Turn in either direction until the projection is
perfectly sharp.
2. PRESSURE VALVES: serves to drain vapor or
condensation. NEVER remove or damage these valves!
3. HANGING BRACKET: used to fix the projector on a flat
surface and point it in the desired direction.
4. POWER SUPPLY: external waterproof power supply to
ensure that the projector works operates on a non-
hazardous 12V low voltage.
5. MAINS INPUT: 100V-240Vac mains input, equipped with a
3-wire power cable and standard “type E”CEE7/5 plug.
Always connect it to a wall socket with earth connection.
6. DC-OUTPUT: the 2-wire cable, fitted with a waterproof
connection box, connects with the projector. If the cable
between the projector and PSU is not long enough, you can
extend it using a waterproof junction box.
7. GOBO ROTATION SWITCH: used to switch manually
between rotating and fixed gobo.
OVERHEAD INSTALLATION
•Important: The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper
installation can result in serious injuries and/or damage to property. Overhead installation
requires extensive experience! Working load limits should be respected, certified installation
materials should be used, the installed device should be inspected regularly for safety.
•Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during installation and
servicing.
•The device should be installed out of reach of people and outside areas
where persons may walk by or be seated.
•Before installation make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum
point load of 10times the device’s weight.
•The device should be well fixed; a free-swinging
mounting is dangerous and may not be considered!
•The projector should be attached to the wall or
ceiling using the anchor provided or other
professional installation material:
•Drill a hole Ø10mm in the brick / Concrete wall
•Put the anchor bolt in the hole (cleave part first)
•Install the bracket of the projector as shown on
the picture (threaded rod in the bracket hole)
•Attach and tighten the nut until the projector is
securely attached to the wall.
•Don’t cover the large heatsink on the back of the unit
as this may result in overheating.
•The operator has to make sure that the safety-
relating and machine-technical installations are
approved by an expert before using them for the first
time. The installations should be inspected every
year by a skilled person to be sure that safety is still
optimal.
