PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the in-line air lubricator filled with oil. (SAE 30 motor oil is recommended.)
2. Check the level of hydraulic fluid in the reservoir every 90 days. The fluid level
should be within 1/2” of the top. se only high grade hydraulic fluid.
3. Periodically check the hydraulic line connections for tightness.
4. Periodically check the pressing plate for tightness.
5. Inspect the drain holes at the bottom of the crushing chamber and remove any
debris or restrictions.

lub icato is equi ed and must be maintained. Failu e to
do so may esult in damage to the unit and is not cove ed
in the wa anty.
Ste 1. REMOVE THE SHIPPING PLUG AND
INSTALL THE BREATHER CAP BEFORE OPERATION.
The shipping plug must be replaced with the breather cap before operating the
crusher. Failure to do so may result in damage.
The shipping plug is located on the top of the hydraulic fluid reservoir inside the
top of the aluminum cabinet.
1. Remove the cabinet top.
2. The shipping plug is located to the right rear of the cabinet. Remove the
shipping plug by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Install the breather cap turning it clockwise until finger tight.
4. Replace the cabinet top.
Ste 2. Mounting Options
Floo Stand
1. Remove the floor stand from the shipping carton. No assembly is required.
2. Position the crusher on the stand lining up the four holes and secure with the
nuts and bolts provided.
Wall B acket
1. Install wall bolts (not included).
2. Mount bracket to the wall.
3. Position the crusher on the wall bracket lining up the four holes and secure
with the nuts and bolts provided.
Ste 3. Install drain fitting hos and catch
contain r
1. Thread the 1” x 4” drain fitting into the drain coupling on the underside of the
unit.
2. Push the 1” I.D. drain hose onto the fitting.
3. Position a catch container under the unit (not included). A 5-gallon bucket is
recommended.
Ste 4. Install th filt r/r gulator/lubricator and
conn ct air supply
1. Fill the lubricator bowl with SAE30 oil prior to installing the assembly on the
crusher.
2. Install the filter/regulator/lubricator assembly into the air inlet on the side of
the crusher.
3. Open the door to the crushing chamber prior to connecting the air supply.
4. Connect the air supply. It is recommended that the air regulator is to be set
at 85 psi but not to exceed 100 psi.
Ste 5. Op ration
1. Place one filter in the crushing chamber with the open end of the filter facing
downward within the area surrounded by the six centering posts.
2. Close the door to activate the crushing cycle. When the unit stops running or
runs noticeable slower, the crushing cycle is complete. (Note - the crusher
will not operate with the door open.)
3. Raise the door and carefully remove the crushed filter.
