OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION! Make sure that the plug is connected.
After placing the Hovoli on the selected area, follow the instructions below to
turn on the appliance:
• Open the bag containing the sand and spread it evenly on the heating
element.
• Connect the power cord to the socket.
• Turn the switch temperature regulator at ‘’7’’ position.
• Ensure that both lamps for the power and the heating element switch on.
• You should wait for 20 minutes till the appliance reaches the required
temperature. When the appliance reaches the required temperature (300⁰C),
then the lamp of the heating element switches on and off periodically (if
stays on continuously, refer to t e "malfunctions and ow to
troubles oot"). The power indicating lamp remains continuously on.
• If the appliance has reached the required temperature, fill the pot with water
and the necessary ingredients (coffee, sugar) and immerse deep into t e
sand so as to touc onto t e eating element. Move the pot in small
circular movements in the sand. Stir coffee and be careful because
cezve/ibrik coffee inflates and can be poured. T e coffee will be ready in
2,5-3 min. You can use more than one pots at the same time.
• When coffee is ready is served. The appliance can remain plugged in with
the switch temperature regulator turned at ‘’7’’ position, in order to prepare
more coffees during the day.
• In order to switch off the appliance at the end of the day, turn the switch
temperature regulator counter at ‘’0’’ position. The power indicating lamp will
switch off. Now you can disconnect the appliance from the power socket.
ATTENTION! During operation t e external surface of t e appliance
is ot. DO NOT TOUCH THE APPLIANCE.
ATTENTION! T e sand remains ot for many ours after switc ing
off t e appliance. DO NOT TOUCH THE SAND.
