INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL
About your coffee maker…
The traditional coffee maker you have purchased is the result of a long research and
respect to the tradition of Cezve/Ibrik coffee brewing.
We thank you for your choice and assure you that you shall have a laborious partner for
many years to come.
You can use the OHNY coffee maker to prepare traditional Cezve/Ibrik coffee with full
aroma and excellent taste.
Before operating you new coffee maker please read this manual carefully.
Choosing the right place…
Your coffee maker should be placed on a level and robust counter away from water. It
should be connected to the mains using only a “Schuko” plug avoiding the use of cord
extensions. Make sure that the area around the appliance is dry an oil-free.

Directions of use….
Your coffee maker, alike other appliances, should be operated only by adults familiar
with its use.
After placing the appliance on the selected area, open the plastic bag containing the
sand and pour the sand on the heating plate. Spread the sand evenly.
Connect to the mains (power supply) and make sure that there is earthing provided.
Attention! Do not use cord extensions or plug converters.
Turn the switch (simmerstat) to position “7” to turn the appliance on. (The position “7”
is recommended for the efficient performance of the appliance)
Wait for approximately 20 minutes until the appliance reaches the operating
temperature.
Fill the pot (supplied with the coffee maker) with the necessary ingredients (water,
special finely ground coffee, sugar) and submerge it deep in the sand, ensuring that its
bottom touches the hot plate underneath. Move the pot continually in small circles in
the sand, always in contact with the hot plate.
ATTENTION The indicating lamp will remain continuously on during the operation of
the appliance and will be off only when the temperature regulator will be at “0”
position.
ATTENTION During operation the external surface of the appliance is hot!
In the end of each working day turn the appliance off by turning the switch to “0”
position. It is also recommended to unplug the appliance.
CAUTION THE SAND REMAINS HOT FOR MANY HOURS AFTER SWITCHING
OFF THE APPLIANCE.
NEVER USE THE COFFEE MAKER WITH WET HANDS!

Some hygiene rules…
When manufacturing the coffee maker, we respected the European Hygiene standards.
All the materials used may be recycled at the end of the appliance life cycle.
However, besides the manufacturer’s care, we would like to remind you that you should
also respect some necessary, simple hygiene rules.
Disconnect the coffee maker from the main power supply, make sure that the appliance
is cold and then use a nonabrasive damp cloth to clean the body of the appliance. Clean
the appliance every day.
WARNING NEVER TRY TO REPAIR THE APPLIANCE BY YOURSELVES.
CONTACT THE AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL, YOUR DEALER, OR DIRECTLY THE
MANUFACTURER.
NEVER REPLACE THE WIRE CORD.
