BLADES ARE SHARP.

Setting Up
1. Unwind a suitable amount of Mains Lead
from the Cable Storage at the base of
the Grinder Body and position on a level
and stable surface. Do not connect the Mains
Plug until you are ready to begin grinding.
Please read the CAUTIONS on locating and
connecting to your mains electricity.
2. Remove the Grinder Lid by lifting upwards.
3. Add coffee beans into the Grinder Bowl
. As a guide you will need approximately
one level tablespoon of beans per cup
to be brewed, although this is, of course,
subject to your own personal taste.
4. DO NOT OVERFILL; THE MAXIMUM
CAPACITY IS 12 LEVEL MEASURING
TABLESPOONS/80g OF COFFEE BEANS.
5. Return the Grinder Lid to the Grinder Body .
6. Plug the Mains Plug into a mains power
socket and switch the socket ON.

How to use
1. Press and hold the
On/Off Button
to grind the coffee
beans. Continue to
hold until the required
consistency of coffee
grounds is reached.
You may find it useful
to stop every few
seconds to assess
the consistency.
2. If the Grinder Lid is removed to check the
consistency of the coffee grounds, always ensure
that the inner rim is free of coffee particles
and shake the grounds into the centre.
• DO NOT REMOVE GRINDER LID UNTIL
BLADES COME TO A COMPLETE STOP.
3. As a rough guide:
• Operate for less time for a coarse grind,
generally used for percolators and coffee urns.
• Operate slightly more for a medium
grind, suitable for drip coffee makers
and steam-type espresso machines.
• Continue grinding for a fine grind, suitable for
espresso machines with an electric pump.
• Grinding times will vary according to
taste and type of beans used.
4. Allow the Grinder to cool between each 60
seconds of use, to avoid overheating.
5. When you have achieved the required
consistency, switch off at the mains
socket and remove the Mains Plug .

After Grinding
Have a container to hand, sufficiently large to
accommodate all of your ground coffee. Remove
the Grinder Lid and invert the Grinder Body
to empty all the coffee grounds into your
container; tap the base of the Grinder Body
lightly if necessary. Transfer the coffee grounds
from your container to your coffee maker.
Cleaning & Care
• Disconnect the Mains Plug from
the mains supply before cleaning.
1. Loosen coffee ground residue in the Grinder Bowl
using a small dry brush with synthetic bristles.
2. Wipe the Grinder Body , Grinder
Bowl and Grinder Lid with a cloth,
slightly dampened with liquid detergent
and warm water. Dry thoroughly.
• TAKE CARE, AS THE GRINDER
BLADES ARE SHARP.

OF THE GRINDER BODY OR
GRINDER LID IN WATER.
• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, metal
