Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Dieses Produkt ist für den Anschluss an ein originales
Audi MMI System bestimmt und dient der Funktionser-
weiterung des Audi MMI Systems um eine Bluetooth-
und eine AUX Schnittstelle für die Medienwiedergabe.
Das Produkt ist technisch ausschließlich für den vorge-
nannten Gebrauch konzipiert und darf ausschließlich zu
diesem Zweck genutzt werden. Jeder andere oder
darüberhinausgehende Gebrauch des Produktes oder
des Zubehörs gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
Vorhersehbare Fehlanwendung
Eine vorhersehbare Fehlanwendung liegt vor, wenn das
Produkt zu einem anderen Zweck verwendet wird, als in
dieser Anleitung beschrieben.
Das gilt insbesondere, wenn das Gerät an einer Stelle
installiert wird, wo es die Fahrsicherheit oder die Bedie-
nung beeinträchtigt.
Beschädigungen
Ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel, sondern stets am Stecker.
Knicken Sie das Glasfaserkabel nicht, es bricht.

Montage/Installation
Die Installation soll in einer Werkstatt oder einem Raum
mit ähnlichen Gegebenheiten durch qualifizierte Perso-
nen oder Personen, die Erfahrung mit derartigen Instal-
lationen haben, erfolgen.

Beachten Sie die geltenden Bestimmungen zur getrenn-
ten Sammlung von Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräten in

Intended Use
This product is intended for connection to an original
Audi MMI system and is used to expand the functions of
the Audi MMI system with a Bluetooth interface and
AUX interface for media playback.
The product is technically designed exclusively for the
aforementioned use and may only be used for this pur-
pose. Any other or additional use of the product or ac-
cessories is considered as not intended use.
Foreseeable misuse
Foreseeable misuse occurs if the product is used for a
purpose other than that described in these instructions.
This applies in particular if the device is installed in a lo-
cation where it impairs driving safety or operation.
Damage
Do not pull on the cable, always pull on the plug. Do not
kink the fiber optic cable, it will break. Damage of any
kind leads to a reduction in the reimbursement amount
in the case of the right of withdrawal and to the expiry of
the warranty / liability and can cause consequential
damage to the vehicle.
Assembly/installation
The installation should be carried out in a technical
workshop or a room with similar conditions by qualified
persons or persons who have experience with such in-
stallations.
Disposal / recycling
Observe the applicable regulations for the separate col-
lection of electrical and electronic waste in your country.
Do not dispose of your old devices with household
waste.
Legal Provisions
In some countries it may be necessary to check the le-
gal provisions before installation and startup of the de-
vice.

Installationsbeispiel für Anschluss an CD-Player / Installation example for connection to CD player.
Bei Verbindung mit anderem Anschluss bitte analog vorgehen. / When connecting to a different device, please pro-
ceed in the same way.
1. Schließen Sie den Stecker ⑫des Glasfaser-Kabels
an den Anschluss des Bluetooth Interface und den
Stecker des Verbindungskabels 12V an den An-
schluss des Bluetooth Interface an.
2. Trennen Sie den Glasfaser-Stecker des MOST
Systems vom CD-Anschluss und verbinden ihn mit
der Buchse ⑪des Glasfaser-Kabels.
3. Verbinden Sie den Stecker des Glasfaser-Kabels
mit der Buchse des CD-Anschlusses.
4. Trennen Sie den Strom-Stecker vom CD-An-
schluss und verbinden ihn mit der Buchse des
Verbindungkabels 12V.
5. Verbinden Sie den Stecker des Verbindungskabels
12V mit der Buchse des CD-Anschlusses.
6. Wenn Sie wünschen, können Sie zusätzlich an die
Cinch-Anschlüsse eine Audio-Quelle anschließen.
1. Connect the plug ⑫of the fiber optic cable to the
slot of the Bluetooth interface and the plug of
the connection cable 12V to the slot of the Blue-
tooth interface.
2. Disconnect the fiber optic plug of the MOST sys-
tem from the CD slot and connect it to the socket
⑪of the fiber optic cable.
3. Connect the plug of the fiber optic cable to the
socket of the CD slot.
4. Disconnect the power plug from the CD slot 
and connect it to the socket of the connection ca-
ble 12V.
5. Connect the plug of the connection cable 12V to
the socket of the CD slot.
6. If you wish, you can also connect an audio source to
the cinch connections .

1. Schalten Sie die Zündung wieder ein und starten Sie
das MMI System.
2. Wählen Sie als erstes den CD/TV Button und danach
den SOURCE Button aus.
3. Wählen Sie CD (Bild 1) aus der Liste der zur Verfü-
gung stehenden Geräte.
4. Nach Auswahl des CD-Geräts wird empfohlen, den
CHANGER Button zu drücken. Jetzt weiter mit Bild 2.
5. Wenn Sie CD 1 auswählen, wird der AUX-Anschluss
aktiviert, der im Gehäuse des Interface verbaut ist.
6. Wenn Sie CD 2 auswählen, wird die Bluetooth-
Schnittstelle aktiviert.
7. Das System speichert die zuletzt ausgewählte Audio-
Quelle und startet mit ihr beim nächsten Systemstart.
1. Turn on the ignition again and start the MMI system.
2. First select the CD/TV button and then the
SOURCE button.
3. Select CD (pic. 1) from the list of available devices.
4. After selecting the CD device, it is recommended to
press the CHANGER button. Now continue with pic-
ture 2.
5. If you select CD 1, the AUX connection, which is
built into the housing of the interface, is activated.
6. If you select CD 2, the Bluetooth interface is acti-
vated.
7. The system saves the last selected audio source
and starts with it the next time the system is started.

verbauten CD-Wechsler wechseln.

Interface verbunden.

5. Es wird empfohlen die Bluetooth Funktion auf einem
Smartphone (oder einem anderen Gerät) zu starten
und die Suchfunktion auszuführen.
6. Audi-BT oder JUNA_AUX sollte in der Liste erschei-
nen. Siehe Bild 4.
7. Nach der Auswahl des Bluetooth Gerätes ist es erfor-
derlich, den PIN code einzugeben (Bild 5). Er ist auf
der Rückseite des Bluetooth Interface vermerkt. Häu-
fig wird 1234 oder 2831 genutzt.
8. Nach dem erfolgreichen Aufbau der Verbindung zum
Smartphone (pairing), wird automatisch Musik abge-
spielt.

Installationsbeispiel für Anschluss an Modul MMI 3G / Installation example for connection to Modul MMI 3G.
Bei Verbindung mit anderem Anschluss bitte analog vorgehen. / When connecting to a different device, please pro-
ceed in the similar way.
1. Schließen Sie den Stecker ⑫des Glasfaser-Kabels
an den Anschluss des Bluetooth Interface und den
Stecker des Verbindungskabels 12V an den An-
schluss des Bluetooth Interface an.
2. Trennen Sie den Glasfaser-Stecker des MOST
Systems vom Anschluss am Moduls MMI 3G und
verbinden ihn mit der Buchse ⑪des Glasfaser-Ka-
bels.
3. Verbinden Sie den Stecker des Glasfaser-Kabels
mit der Buchse des Anschlusses am Moduls MMI
3G.
4. Schließen Sie das Kabel der Verbindungsleitung
12V (schwarz oder braun) an Masse an.
5. Schließen Sie das Kabel der Verbindungsleitung
12V (rot) an +12V (Dauerplus) an.
6. Wenn Sie wünschen, können Sie zusätzlich an die
Cinch-Anschlüsse eine Audio-Quelle anschließen.

12V (red) to +12V (permanent positive).
6. If you wish, you can also connect an audio source to
the cinch connections .
Wenn Sie einen CD-Wechsler angeschlossen

den SOURCE Button aus.
3. Wählen Sie CD (AUX oder Bluetooth, Bild 1) aus der
Liste der zur Verfügung stehenden Geräte.
4. Wenn Sie AUX auswählen (Bild 2), wird der AUX-An-
schluss aktiviert, der im Gehäuse des Interface ver-
baut ist.
5. Wenn Sie Bluetooth auswählen (Bild 3), wird die
Bluetooth-Schnittstelle aktiviert.
6. Das System speichert die zuletzt ausgewählte Audio-
Quelle und startet mit ihr beim nächsten Systemstart.

Zusätzliche Information / Additional information
Beide Modelle (4201 und 4202) versuchen die Verbin-
dung mit dem zuletzt verbundenen Smartphone wieder
herzustellen, sobald das MMI System gestartet ist.
Wird das Smartphone nicht gleich gefunden, wird nach
30 Sekunden der nächste Versuch gestartet.
Möchten Sie ein anders Smartphone verbinden, trennen
Sie zuerst eine bestehende Verbindung und gehen dann
gemäß Schritt 10 (4201) oder Schritt 13 (4202) vor.
Both models (4201 and 4202) try to re-establish the
connection with the last connected smartphone as
soon as the MMI system has started.
If the smartphone is not found immediately, the next
attempt will be started after 30 seconds.
If you want to connect a different smartphone, first
disconnect an existing connection and then proceed
according to step 10 (4201) or step 13 (4202).
